Ordered pickup and arrived at a plaza mall. Parking was packed at the parking lot for a Saturday noon but there was few people inside. Immediately greeted inside, which I appreciate. However, they did not prepare my to-go order on the time that the order app deemed ready. They started preparing my order after I walked in. Looks like this is a buffet restaurant with all the food laid out in the back. Not the best Indian food I've had. There is just something about the food. The rice seems day old with the staleness and condensation moisture that I recognize from my past experience eating day old rice. The chicken in the Tikka masala was dry as dry wood can be dry. It's like the juices have been completely drained from the chicken. Not good. The best thing about the meal was the garlic Naan that I used to soak up the Tika masala and chutney but even that was not even close to the best Naan I've had. This is your typical strip mall buffet food. If I did more research, I would have tried something else but I was hangry at the time. Do with this info what you will.

Great variety of dishes for the buffet. Currently lunch buffet daily @ $17.95/pp before tax.

The Naanza is absolutely delicious, every flavor is bursting through and the textures are perfection, would highly recommend. The chopped kachumber salad was very fresh. The yogurt bombs were funky and a little spicy. Overall, really enjoyed eating food that's out of the ordinary and again, highly recommend the nannza!

As the designated food expert in many social settings, I was thrilled to be asked again by my…read morefriend and colleague to pick our restaurant for dinner, as we were both in town early for a meeting the next day. Working with gluten and tomato sensitivity, I dropped my Yelp bookmarks for the Andover/Boston area into Chat GPT and was told that Monica's Mithai would be the one we would rave about later on. Touché Chat GPT! Situated in a small side street in the picturesque and idyllic Andover downtown, this restaurant evokes a fun night out with its hot pink decor and spots to take a selfie. You're warmly greeted by Monica's family who makes you feel right at home and is willing to make you anything your heart desires, including an off-menu, gluten friendly version of Butter Chicken Poutine (and yes it was a winner)! Of note, I am accustomed to restaurants who are good with food allergens, but this one knocks it out of the park! No nuts in any of the sauces, plenty of vegan options and extreme care for any other dietary preference. Might I also add that the ghee is homemade?! Every detail is well thought out, including this one of a kind menu - it takes you out of the comfort zone of typical representations of Indian cuisine and stretches you to creative and flavorful spins on classics, like the Samosa Chaat, whose sauce was light, slightly sweet and full of flavor (but doesn't weigh you down to the point you can't fully enjoy your next dish). The paneer makhani was to die for - prior to this, my kids and I have just one restaurant that qualifies for the "long drive just for the food" trip and now this restaurant joins that very short list. The paneer was equally light and mildly cheesy, complementing the slightly sweet, very savory tomato based (I think) sauce. I think Monica's could easily turn this into a sort of dipping sauce or soup for an Jndian grilled cheese (adding mirchi/chili and tomato to the sandwich). Monica herself stopped by our table and I felt like we had met a celebrity who didn't mind taking time to talk to a complete fangirl. Great news is that both the Velvet Makhani sauce and ghee are shipped anywhere in the US so I could bring this delicious food back to my NJ peeps, to their delight and mine. The drink menu is also creative and extensive. As a beer girl, I thought nothing move me away from the deliciousness of the Local Widow Maker Blue Comet IPA - but the recommendation for the Rupee Basmati Rice Lager changed my heart and mind on rice lagers forever. I capped off the night with mango lassi (less cream, more fresh mango purée- yes!!!!) and would give this a 10/5 if I could. Keep up the great work Monica and family!

I have been coming here since shortly after they opened, and it has always been one of my favorite…read morerestaurants. I almost always sit at the bar and order the Mixed Tandoori Grill because it has consistently been generous, well-prepared, and worth the price. Unfortunately, my experience tonight was incredibly disappointing. The service at the bar was poor. Although there were other guests there--many of whom appeared to be regulars--the bartender spent most of his time chatting with them and largely ignored me. I had to ask three separate times before I finally received service. When my meal arrived, it was nowhere near the quality or portion I have come to expect. The Mixed Grill, which has always included generous portions of lamb, chicken, and shrimp, consisted almost entirely of chicken, with only about two small pieces of lamb and a single shrimp. It was a dramatic difference from what has been served for years. I politely mentioned this to the bartender, and his response was simply, "Tough times, less food." I found that response both dismissive and disappointing. If portions have been reduced, customers should not be paying the same premium prices without any acknowledgment. After years of consistently great meals, this was genuinely sad to experience. Spending nearly $75 on a meal that felt significantly diminished in both quality and value is hard to justify. Because of my long history with this restaurant, I may give it one more chance, but based on this visit, I cannot recommend it. It was a very disappointing experience from both a service and food standpoint.

The Best North Indian Restaurant I Have Found…read more For a long time, I had been searching for an authentic North Indian restaurant that truly delivers outstanding food. One day, while I was in Salem, New Hampshire, I discovered Kashmir Indian Cuisine, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I visited the restaurant with a group of friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tandoori specialties. The Chicken Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kabab, Tandoori Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Tandoori Roti were all cooked to perfection. We also tried the Haddock Pakora as an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Other favorites included the Chicken Saag, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Aloo Gobi. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with authentic North Indian spices. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the warm hospitality. The owner and the entire staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making every guest feel welcome. I was so impressed that I later hired Kashmir Indian Cuisine to cater my daughter's engagement celebration. The food was exceptional, and every guest complimented the quality, taste, and beautiful presentation. Their catering helped make our special occasion even more memorable. If you truly enjoy authentic North Indian cuisine, I highly recommend giving Kashmir Indian Cuisine a try. Make the drive just once, and I'm confident you'll enjoy the experience as much as I did. Indian is one of my favorites and this was a fairly short drive from our hotel in Waltham. We made a reservation but that did not seem to be at all necessary. It was a Monday night and it was not particularly busy. We were seated right away. They featured a very pleasant dining room and we were able to secure a table by the front window. This was a great spot and added to our experience. The service was very good. We were attended to quickly and well cared for throughout our time there. The food came out in a timely manner well presented at the appropriate temperature. My colleague opted for the Creamy Coconut Chicken. I tried a bite of this and was favorably impressed. In addition, he had a Mango Lassi to which he also gave a thumbs-up. I had the Fish Curry, which I ordered at a medium level in terms of spice. It was very tasty as it had just the right amount of kick. He ordered the Garlic Naan to accompany his meal while I had my favorite type of Indian bread (my favorite type of bread period, really) Peshwari Naan. We were both happy with these choices. I also had a glass of cabernet which turned out to be a decent choice. Our final bill that included food, drinks, tax and tip was $86. At $43 per person in this inflationary time, I was happy enough with the value given the quality of the fare and the overall experience. I would be happy to make a return visit.
