Great service and great food. Lots of variety and well prepared. Bread was hot and fresh. Chicken dishes were nicely spiced and not too hot but had a nice zing. Samosas well prepared. The biryani was okay but will get the chicken one next time instead of vegetable as the veggies were a bit over done. Ordered pickup and arrived at a plaza mall. Parking was packed at the parking lot for a Saturday noon but there was few people inside. Immediately greeted inside, which I appreciate. However, they did not prepare my to-go order on the time that the order app deemed ready. They started preparing my order after I walked in. Looks like this is a buffet restaurant with all the food laid out in the back. Not the best Indian food I've had. There is just something about the food. The rice seems day old with the staleness and condensation moisture that I recognize from my past experience eating day old rice. The chicken in the Tikka masala was dry as dry wood can be dry. It's like the juices have been completely drained from the chicken. Not good. The best thing about the meal was the garlic Naan that I used to soak up the Tika masala and chutney but even that was not even close to the best Naan I've had. This is your typical strip mall buffet food. If I did more research, I would have tried something else but I was hangry at the time. Do with this info what you will. read more

A very good addition to the Indian restaurant scene. We were greeted promptly and the yelp check-in samosas were brought out with a smile. They offer a wide range of Indian cuisine and we partook of palak paneer and fish vindaloo. The fish had an interesting smoky flavor that was different from expected. The Palak paneer had a very nice flavor, also a bit different than expected but in a good way. Complimentary papadam comes when you sit down and the garlic naan we ordered was rich and garlicky. My lassi was sweet, the next time I'll have to specify no sugar. But I get that most people would prefer it that way. Generous portions meant we took home fair bit for lunch the next day. We tried Raagini's for the first time over the weekend. It's a small, cozy venue. I believe it may have been the owner that greeted us at the door. The entire staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was super attentive and friendly. It felt more like they were preparing a meal for friends instead of customers. For dinner we split the Mixed Appetizer which was very good and enough for two. For the main course my girlfriend ordered the Rack of Lamb. I chose the Lamb Curry. Both meals were excellent and the portions were very generous. Great experience, great value. We'll see you again soon. read more

Had the lunch buffet. Not impressed. Naan and appetizers were overcooked and burnt. Also wasn't refreshed with more after it was gone. The entrees were better. Good selection. $18.95 for lunch and a 3% service fee on top of that. Probably not the best value. Kashmir in Salem, NH has better food but no weekday lunch buffet if that's what you're looking for. I ordered garlic naan, paneer Tikka masala, badami khee (homemade rice pudding flavored with cardamom and blended with almonds), and mango Lassi one for pick up order. Everything was extremely flavorful, fresh, and well prepared. All extremely reasonably priced as well! The garlic Naan had plenty of chopped garlic and was a perfect way to wipe my bowl clean of the paneer tikka masala. Badami khee was ab great way to end the meal, refreshing way to balance the heat. This week I came here excited for Indian food. We were the only two in the restaurant, which felt a little weird but definitely not the first time I've been the only one somewhere. We were greeted immediately and seated. There was some sort of dirty/oily looking film on my water, and upon further inspection there was a hair in my cup. My food was fairly bland and my boyfriend's chicken was dry. I kept stepping on something and realized there were multiple dirty napkins under our table. My wife was less enthusiastic about the fish curry because she wasn't a big fan of HALIBUT. We both loved the sauces (curry) and that, over the basami rice, made it a perfect meal The food came quickly and the prices seemed fair and in line with today's economy. My husband and I came here for the lunch buffet on a weekday. The buffet was $12.99 and they had my favorite dessert gulab jamun. The variety, presentation, and the taste were excellent. The restaurant is very clean, and the service was very good too. I asked whether the free samosa offer with Yelp check-in is for dinners, the waiter/manager said yes but he gave it to us anyway. And those samosas were freshly fried and hot when they came out. We enjoyed the bhuna gobi, chicken tikka masala, goat curry, and more. My only wish was for the buffet food to be a bit hotter. Maybe because we had arrived very close to 11:30 AM, the dishes were cooked but had not yet been under the sterno warmers. Overall, this was a delicious meal. Food was delicious and waitstaff was very attentive, checking on us frequently, filling our water cups, and checking if we needed more rice. We had ordered takeout before but it was our first time eating there and we would definitely go back. I live in Boston, but am from Andover. I have yet to find an Indian restaurant in Boston that even comes close to being as great as Raagini. The food is fabulous. The naan is always buttery and pillowy soft. The butter chicken is delicious. The chicken tandoori is unbelievably moist. Bought $130 worth of takeout from this place and I sadly have to say it was a huge mistake. First they say that they deliver Until you order delivery, then it's a lie and you now have to pay grub hub separately. Then the food came and it's the worst Indian food I've ever had. I didn't know Indian food could be so bland, so plain, nothing has flavor, everything tastes the same, grilled meat looks and tastes boiled, and it's expensive too! At least if it were cheap it could be justified, awful! Safe to say that was a first and last time, won't be buying from there again... read more

We used the yelp coupon on my phone for a free Samosa appetizer and the waitress had no problem accepting it. It was ok. The food overall was good and flavorful. I wouldn't say 5 star, but 4 is appropriate. Their sauces that came with each app or meal where what made their dishes stand out. We must have been served by at least 5 different people while we were there. It was very disorganized and we were left waiting. Don't come here if you're in a rush I guess. People who came after us were getting served before us which was frustrating. We both ordered tea at the same time. Mine came about 10 minutes after ordering (after reminding our waiter). My friend's tea came about 25 minutes into the meal (after asking again). Nothing too unique about our hot teas. Overall good experience. Our clothes and skin literally smelled like the restaurant when we left meaning we smelled strongly of Indian food which smelled a lot like sweat outside of the restaurant. Had to shower to get rid of the scent. Clothing change was not enough. Inside the restaurant it was fine, but outside not so much. read more
