This was my first time trying Indian food and it did not disappoint. So much flavor and so fresh this place is awesome I will definitely be back. Service was great and they were very nice. The place was very peaceful and was a really nice spot to have some great food and watch some Sunday football. We both went with the mild spice version of our dishes and the flavors were amazing I could probably go a level or two higher with the spice just given my tolerance but would be happy with the mild any day of the week. 100% will be back.

The food here is fresh and hot, and super delicious! Everything is very well priced and filling. The spices are awesome and balanced. The service was attentive and fast and we had a great time. Didn't feel rushed at all and enjoyed the comfy booths. Super satisfied and will be back!

My friends and I were dying to find a good Indian spot that was nearby. We came on a Saturday night to find it pretty empty, so getting a table for our party of 8 was not a problem. We shared an order of samosas and cheese naan bread for our table. I thoroughly enjoyed the samosas since they had the delicious chutney on top. They still maintain their crispy outer layer with more fresh garnishes as well. I was hoping for the Naan bread to be more chewy but was a little disappointed to find it so thin and almost crispy. I also could barely notice the cheese sprinkled on top. We also shared the dosa special which had a side of very bland lentil soup. Unsure about the portion size, we all ordered individual plates and just shared family style. Once we had all received our dishes, we quickly found out it was way too much food considering the density of the seasoning or the quality of protein. They offered us a plate of rice and some marsala sauce per couple. I like the marsala sauce but some of the proteins were very dry. We tried their goat, chicken, and beef. The better dishes were the ones that were in the mango sauce as it was sweet and good to serve over the rice. Overall, we had an OK experience the waiter did not go out of his way to introduce himself or help us make some decisions on the menu. Food was either a hit or miss so I'm not sure if I would come back again.

But finally I did and boy am I happy. Very much a family affair - husband and wife who share maitre'd and server responsibilities. And other relatives in the kitchen cooking up a storm. What first grabbed my attention were the huge number of dosas they offer. Seeing any dosa on a menu at all is a rarity and so to see the wide variety they feature was amazing. I opted for the Andhra Kara Masala and it was excellent. The dosa itself crispy and warm and the condiments beautifully integrated. We opted for the mixed veggie pakoras as an appetizer on the recommendation of the owner and they were served warm and crispy. The batter was light - nothing like the thick sludge that usually adorns the deep fried nuggets of vegetable delight. The accompanying tamarind sauce was sweet and clean and the mint-cilantro suitably refreshing. Lovey got garlic naan and saag paneer. Smooth and creamy, the saag was exactly as hoped for and the garlic naan was chewy, warm and toothsome. Dessert was carrot halwa. Hard to believe carrots make such an excellent warm dessert but they do. Richly satisfying with just the right touch of sweetness. We look forward to returning and sampling the rest of the menu!

It's a place his dad has taken him to before and he loves it! We go for Indian food occasionally and we like it, so off we went to Salem NH. Grandson ordered a dosa for all of us as an appetizer, something with chopped onions, it was pretty good. My dish was the saag paneer, which I ordered what they call "American spicy." Spicy? Not! If I go back, I'd order Indian Medium Spicy! My husband liked his chana masala. Both were served with white rice. My son-in-law had a korma dish, I don't remember which one, Indian medium spicy, loved it, and he ordered garlic naan. We ordered roti. My grandson is gluten free and dairy free. I don't remember what he ate, but he's all in when he's predisposed to liking something, so I only remember that he was happy with it! We love the carrot halwa at our local favorite Indian restaurant in midtown Manhattan, so we ordered it for all 4 of us. It was much sweeter than we're used to; tasty but too sweet to finish. Anyway, it's a good local choice up there and my grandson chose it again just the other day for his birthday dinner out!

Everything was labeled clearly for gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian & vegan!!!! Such a relief to be able to eat amazing ethnic foods without worrying! The ambiance: Well done. I liked the vibe in there. The service: The night was busy for a rainy Wednesday night, but they kept up pretty well although maybe a tad slower than normal. HOWEVER, there was a beautiful Indian waitress that seemed to be running the place who was a cut above the rest as she was warm, friendly and cared and here's why: My mom was looking at desserts and couldn't decide which she wanted but ended up picking one with the waitress' help. Somehow, this waitress picked up on the fact it was my mom's birthday and mimed to me when no one was looking to double check that she was right -- no one had mentioned to her it was a birthday before that. Then, she came out with a sample platter of all 3 desserts with a candle and sang happy birthday. My mom was happy and it was a really cute moment. That kind of customer service is so rare these days, I had to write a review for it. Thank you Turmeric House for a great evening!

I'd never tried Rupee beer and was delighted to find that it has a good taste, kind of similar to a Blue Moon. My friend got the mango margarita and said he tasted like a basic puree. We got the spinach pakora and onion bhaji app. The onion bhaji was incredible. It was a fried semi-caramelized onion patty, which came with two chutneys. I love onions and look forward to trying this dish again. I got the chicken korma, a dish I've been interested in trying for some time now. I hope that all chicken kormas are like this one because the flavor was absolutely incredible! It's creamy cashew sauce with cubed chicken. I got mine at a medium spice level and it was perfect. The dish was really layered in its flavors with the cashew flavor not being over powering. The restaurant is a pretty nice size, with plenty of tables and room for many guests. The bar is small and the drinks took a while, but we came at the end of the night and I think there were only two people working the front. It seemed like a family owned spot and I hope they succeed here. The food was delicious!
