    Shrimp Tikka Masala

First visit on a friend's suggestion. Did not disappoint. Three of us ordered plain & garlic naan, vegetable mixed appetizer (Vegetable pakora, vegetable samosa, aloo tikka and cheese pakora), shrimp tikka masala, coconut basil chicken & goat korma. Everything was really enjoyable- you can taste the various spices/favors. Medium hot just right. Great service, drinks amazing and a cozy decor. We'll be back!

We just found our new favorite restaurant for Indian food! The naan was the best we've had in a long time-it has that fresh off the grill flavor and wasn't greasy. The paneer pakora was so yummy-especially with the mint dip. The eggplant masala was melt in your mouth-just heavenly!! And the coconut basil chicken was delicious!! The basmati was nicely spiced and fragrant. Had a very reasonably priced glass of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. We are looking forward to having our leftovers for lunch tomorrow and adding Kashmir to our circuit!

Waited over an hour for their delicious curry and naan bread. Back table ambiance was cramped and overly amplified. Felt as though everyone was yelling at each other. Take out might be a better option.

Excellent , reliable Indian food. I prefer Indulge India in Andover Center but Kashmir is the second best option in the area.

But finally I did and boy am I happy. Very much a family affair - husband and wife who share maitre'd and server responsibilities. And other relatives in the kitchen cooking up a storm. What first grabbed my attention were the huge number of dosas they offer. Seeing any dosa on a menu at all is a rarity and so to see the wide variety they feature was amazing. I opted for the Andhra Kara Masala and it was excellent. The dosa itself crispy and warm and the condiments beautifully integrated. We opted for the mixed veggie pakoras as an appetizer on the recommendation of the owner and they were served warm and crispy. The batter was light - nothing like the thick sludge that usually adorns the deep fried nuggets of vegetable delight. The accompanying tamarind sauce was sweet and clean and the mint-cilantro suitably refreshing. Lovey got garlic naan and saag paneer. Smooth and creamy, the saag was exactly as hoped for and the garlic naan was chewy, warm and toothsome. Dessert was carrot halwa. Hard to believe carrots make such an excellent warm dessert but they do. Richly satisfying with just the right touch of sweetness. We look forward to returning and sampling the rest of the menu!

It's a place his dad has taken him to before and he loves it! We go for Indian food occasionally and we like it, so off we went to Salem NH. Grandson ordered a dosa for all of us as an appetizer, something with chopped onions, it was pretty good. My dish was the saag paneer, which I ordered what they call "American spicy." Spicy? Not! If I go back, I'd order Indian Medium Spicy! My husband liked his chana masala. Both were served with white rice. My son-in-law had a korma dish, I don't remember which one, Indian medium spicy, loved it, and he ordered garlic naan. We ordered roti. My grandson is gluten free and dairy free. I don't remember what he ate, but he's all in when he's predisposed to liking something, so I only remember that he was happy with it! We love the carrot halwa at our local favorite Indian restaurant in midtown Manhattan, so we ordered it for all 4 of us. It was much sweeter than we're used to; tasty but too sweet to finish. Anyway, it's a good local choice up there and my grandson chose it again just the other day for his birthday dinner out!

For drinks I ordered the lychee martini and chai-tini buzz. The lychee martini was a little too sweet and the chai martini was too milky for my liking. There are a lot of interesting cocktails on the menu so I'd like to try something different next time. For food I ordered the Samosa Bliss and the iron pan (kadhai) hit with paneer and a side of garlic naan. The samosas were delicious: crispy on the outside and well-seasoned on the inside with a tangy sauce. The paneer was excellent in terms of portion size and texture. I would have preferred basmati rice with the entree instead of the yellow rice and more garlic on the naan, but overall it was a satisfying meal. There isn't a dessert menu but they have a case with a variety of Indian sweets. Service was very attentive and felt like you were eating at a family's home. Lots of nearby street parking. As with many older New England buildings, the entrance is a little tight and has a few steps so it may be difficult for some people to enter. I look forward to visiting again!

I'd never tried Rupee beer and was delighted to find that it has a good taste, kind of similar to a Blue Moon. My friend got the mango margarita and said he tasted like a basic puree. I love onions and look forward to trying this dish again. I got the chicken korma, a dish I've been interested in trying for some time now. I hope that all chicken kormas are like this one because the flavor was absolutely incredible! It's creamy cashew sauce with cubed chicken. I got mine at a medium spice level and it was perfect. The dish was really layered in its flavors with the cashew flavor not being over powering. The restaurant is a pretty nice size, with plenty of tables and room for many guests. The bar is small and the drinks took a while, but we came at the end of the night and I think there were only two people working the front. It seemed like a family owned spot and I hope they succeed here. The food was delicious!

If you're looking to expand out of the typical Indian fare found in America (read: North Indian), this place is for you. Now, the establishment does have curry. It also has a whole list of biryani, idlli and dosas, desserts, appetizers, and Indian style street snacks / chaat. Excited for my dinner, I ordered the chicken fry biryani ($16.99) and sev puri ($7.49). I took half of the biryani home as leftovers - a testament to their generous portions. The Sev Puri contained crispy fried flour discs and spiced potato topped with condiments. A whole constellation of flavors managed to reside here - spicy, sweet, tangy, savory, salty, crunchy - all without feeling overpowering or heavy. It proved quite refreshing. The biryani was packed with flavor, Not a single bite of rice seemed unseasoned. Bay leaves and dried chili peppers poked out of the rice. This makes biryani from other places taste downright bland. Additionally, spicy here means properly spicy. I needed a stack of napkins. It also came with a side of raw onions and lime wedge, raita, and biryani gravy/sauce. Both the gravy and biryani itself tasted extra earthy, similar (in my mind at least) to cardamom. The chicken itself seemed to have been both marinated and fried. The outer skin/crust was soaked with flavor. Previously, I had struggled to find decent Indian food in Boston, after having become accustomed to my Bay Area Indian coworkers' favorite spots (and Vik's Chaat in West Berkeley). Thankfully, I can come here now.

We dined fairly early on a Friday evening and the restaurant quickly filled up. Since they are not located on the beach, there is plenty of parking. This location was formerly a pizza hut, but they did a nice job converting to a pleasant dining room. Service was very friendly, pleasant and efficient, and we enjoyed all the food we ordered. As others mention, portions are large (we took food home), and we found the prices to be fair, given the ever increasing cost of food lately. We started with an order of Pakora and onion bhaji. When the dish arrived I thought we were given the wrong order as the plate had what looked like patties, and not the usual shape of these items that we have had at other Indian restaurants. Appearance aside, we found them to taste as we expected. Perhaps a regional difference? We stuck to some of the more common dishes we have ordered so that we could compare to other restaurants. Chicken Tikka Masala and Palak Paneer were both delicious. The menu has everything that you might expect as well as some dishes I've not had. Extensive Biryani and Tandoori offerings as well. We are looking forward to trying some new dishes when we visit again. Give them a try, something new and different for Hampton!
