Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani, Vegetable Samosa
Evelyn W.

Ordered the vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani, and garlic naan for takeout and everything was delicious. The samosas stood out because my spiciness tolerance is pretty low. I'm glad they made it so flavorful (+the dipping sauces were great) without making it too hot!

Chili Gobi
Alisha ..

We ordered the Chili Gobi, Fish Fry, Chili Fish, Paneer Butter Masala, Garlic Naan, Veg Kothu Paratha. To start off, we ordered Chili Fish and Fish Fry which was severely uncooked. We sent it back and ordered Chili Gobi to be safe, instead, however, we received an incorrect order of Gobi Manchurian instead which we did not want. We also ordered the Kothu Paratha with at a medium spice level, but it had no taste or spice at all. The Paneer dish and the naan were okay, nothing too special. The service was okay as our server did take off the 3 items that incorrectly served.

Tandoori Chicken

First time I've tried this place was about a year ago and the food was fantastic. Everything I've ordered was so delicious and was full of flavor. But two days ago, I've order from them again the food did not taste the same and portion was very small and pricey. The chicken tandoori lack flavored. It was so bland. The chicken tikka masala was okay and there were very little meat in it. My garlic naan was good but was soggy by the time it got to me. It wasn't soggy the first time I've order it via ubereats. First time trying their chicken biryani and I would say I wouldn't order it again because it was not good. I couldn't tell what the flavor was supposed to be like. Last but not least, their vegetables samosa was good. So I don't think I'll be returning.

My "green salad", I asked for easy onion and this is what I got.

What kind of salad is this? I said easy on the onion and this is what they send me. This is the 3rd time they do this to me. I will never order from this place again.

Worse food ! We used to love but I don't know what happened to the quality and quantity . This was one of the appetizer which was half filled and charged full $10. We all got tummy pain after eating . Sad to see the quality has gotten so bad ...

Very good Indian Food. Good service, everything tastes fresh. Great Naan selection. I do, however, miss the lunchtime buffet.

The food was so not what I was expecting. I've better Indian food in the frozen section of a Costco.

Okay... this place is great! It's like a homemade version of crown fried chicken. The owner runs…read morethe whole place. He's all alone and literally makes everything himself. Props to him! That's a heavy load to take on and he does a great job at it. Everything is super cheap here and taste great. If you're a student at Middlesex Community college like me. Let's face it, theres days when we're broke and need a place to grab a cheap quick lunch. This is definitely the spot. Pizza rolls: I love these things. He made them perfectly and you can tell he hand rolls them himself. And they're only a $1!! Double cheeseburger: BOMB! I'm so picky with burgers. I don't give a shit if it's messy looking, lets be real. If it tastes good, it's serving it's purpose. I'm super picky and customized it as I liked and he accommodated it. Thank you! Not many places do! Fries: perfectly crunchy. Not soft and soggy like most places. Maybe a little less seasoning. I know not a lot of people like spicy foods. But I enjoy it. Chicken Kabob Plate: my boyfriend and I split this because of how big it was. We ordered it with extra rice instead of the usual side of salad it comes with. The owner offered us either Indian or Spanish rice. We went with the Spanish and it tasted great, it even had vegetables in it. The chicken was nice and juicy with grilled peppers and onions. The rice and chicken had a nice kick to it. Not too spicy and just flavor. Chicken and Fries (not pictured): My boyfriend devoured this. The chicken is definitely not anything like crown fried or Jacqueline's chicken. The owner literally uses his own recipe. My boyfriend loved it and the chicken looked really fresh and juicy. He swallowed the thing before I even got a chance to take a picture of it lol. Please go visit guys! This little place has so much potential. It might seem a little stand off it by the looks of it but it's worth going in and trying it out The owner is so sweet, he even offered my boyfriend a free banana milkshake while he waited for the food to be done. Thanks Jimmy! Try it out! You won't regret it !

The only not great thing was the amount of patrons. This place deserves more customers. The pani puri was fantastic. All the specials on the buffet that night were great as well. Constantly hearing people say you cant eat out for less than 80 bucks for 2 people. We ate til we were stuffed tried multitudes of dishes and left with a check for less than 50 including 20% tip.

They charge around $25 per person, but the quality of the food was nowhere near what I would expect for that price. Many of the dishes tasted stale or as though they had been sitting out for a long time. The food wasn't hot--or even properly warm--and almost every item I tried was disappointing. For $25, customers should at least be able to expect fresh, properly prepared, hot food. I really don't understand the positive reviews for the buffet based on my experience. I can't comment on their à la carte menu because I didn't try it, but I personally would not recommend the buffet. I hope the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously and improves the freshness, temperature, and overall quality of the food.

Originally hailing from Casablanca, Morocco, Chef Rafiq is a graduate of Boston's Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Some of the menu staples include falafel, chicken shawarma, gyro, kofta, and salads. Chez Rafiki's travel all over Massachusetts bringing their delicious food to various craft breweries, festivals and private catering events. I recently enjoyed some food from Chez Rafiki's at Tree House Brewing Company in Charlton. I was visiting the brewery with my two-year-old son and we decided to get some food from the food truck. I was excited to see that Chez Rafiki's was the food truck that day because I love Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine. After looking over the menu, I decided to order Chez Rafiki's Special: the "Chicken Killer" (Rice, Fries, Chicken Shawarma, Pickled Red Onion, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Garlic Sauce, Feta Cheese). I also ordered a side of Falafel. I absolutely loved the Chicken Killer; a symphony of Mediterranean flavors and spices. My son has never tried this kind of cuisine before. He wouldn't touch the Chicken Killer but he absolutely loved the Falafel. He happily gobbled down half of the Falafel balls. I would definitely order from Chez Rafiki's again if I saw them at another brewery or festival.
