The only not great thing was the amount of patrons. This place deserves more customers. The pani puri was fantastic. All the specials on the buffet that night were great as well. One of the worst dining experiences I've had. I live in New Hampshire and visited this restaurant…read morefor the first time, and unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the buffet. They charge around $25 per person, but the quality of the food was nowhere near what I would expect for that price. Many of the dishes tasted stale or as though they had been sitting out for a long time. The food wasn't hot--or even properly warm--and almost every item I tried was disappointing. For $25, customers should at least be able to expect fresh, properly prepared, hot food. I really don't understand the positive reviews for the buffet based on my experience. I can't comment on their à la carte menu because I didn't try it, but I personally would not recommend the buffet. I hope the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously and improves the freshness, temperature, and overall quality of the food.

But, all were delicious and two bowls of basmati rice were included and delicious as well. I wasn't a fan of the chai I ordered. The service was friendly but kind of lingered around since not as many customers. There was a bathroom smell right when we entered the restaurant, because the bathrooms are positioned right at the bottom of the stairs when you walk in the building. But, besides that the food was pretty good. I wouldn't say this is an authentic Indian restaurant destination. But, I'd come back here again to try the Indian buffet out since cheaper than eating dinner à la carte.

So we just ordered the lunch menu and ordered a mini buffet for ourselves. Ordered the onion pakora as an appetizer. For some reason I thought it was going to come with some sort of sauce. So it was a little dry. I just ended up dipping it in the malai kofta for more flavor. We ordered 1 veggie, 1 chicken, and 1 lamb lunch combo. Which it came with white rice, soup, and naan or a roti. The veggie option was the malai kofta. (I liked this one the best, bc it was sweet) . It's vegetable cheese dumplings in a cashew sauce. the chicken option was the priya chicken special. (Second best) This was good. It was saucy. and then we got the lamb masala. This one was more on the tomato-sour side. I like more of a creamy sauces. These dishes weren't as spicy. It was just a hint of it. Waiters were really nice and informative about the menu.

Sometimes I feel if I want to search Yelp, the more effective strategy is to search the Yelp listing on Google! Good thing I found the listing before creating a duplicate! But I digress: I was at Mighty Squirrel Brewery to celebrate a birthday, and this was the truck parked outside. My indecisive, variety-loving self to go for the Chicken Tikka Masala Combo. The dish came with rice, a little veggies, a few pieces of chicken, and some naan. On its own, the dish was A-OK. While not the greatest Indian food I've had, food trucks get a bit of a pass. The chicken and veggie had lovely spice (not heat) and good, distinctive flavors. The rice was cooked perfectly, and went great with any leftover sauce. The naan was nothing to write home about... but like the chicken not being at peak tenderness, I don't expect it fresh out of the tandoor. While in and of itself the food and very friendly service would put them close to a four. However, the value and price lands them squarely in three territory. With tax, the whole plate was $20 - this being for three small-ish pieces of chicken, and some rice, veg, and bread. While I can't say next time this truck and I are at Mighty Squirrel I'll go for a pretzel, I can say I would not seek this truck out at a Food Truck Festival.

I'm already missing Udupi Bhaven for their tasty buffets and dosas. However, I decided to stop in at Indian Pizzeria and try one of their Indian fusion pizzas. I ordered the 16" Non-Veg Middlesex St Pizza ($19.99 plus tax), which is a half & half chicken tikka masala and chicken Manchurian pizza. My half & half pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. I quickly enjoyed one of each slice in my vehicle. The chicken tikka masala pizza had a savory tikka masala sauce topped with slicef grilled chicken, onions and mozzarella cheese. The chicken Manchurian pizza had a spicy manchurian sauce, grilled chicken, and melted cheese. The thin crust was soft. I enjoyed some more pizza when I got home.
