I came here for their lunch buffet as I LOVE an Indian buffet. We arrived around 1230 on a Saturday and the restaurant was busy with families and smaller groups. The buffet had lots of options. We started with garlic naan, which was delicious. I went for the tandoori chicken, a paneer dish, the tikka masala, and a selection of bahji, pakora and samosa. We usually stick to the usual dishes like chicken or lamb curry, but on our first visit, we were lucky to have Amarjit as our waiter; he was incredibly polite, friendly, and encouraged us to try something new -- and we're so glad we did! Thanks to his recommendations, we've discovered some new favorites, including the Lamb Rogan Josh and Goat Curry. Tasty Indian food, though a bit of a distance from home. On a whim I tried out Holi and was not disappointed. The bonus was that there is an ice cream stand next door, so after you're done enjoying spicy Indian food, you can go next door for some soothing ice cream! I was thrilled that they offer Salty Lassi, one of my favorites which you can't find in all Indian shops, usually you're stuck with the Mango version. For our entrees we had the Paneer Dosa, and Lamb version of Sali Boti and Kadai. Everything, including the service was great. I appreciated the table that we were able to sit at, it was not noisy/crowded at all! My only complaint was that we were unable to finish all of our food and the Dosa didn't travel well, I really wish that we were able to finish the Dosa at the restaurant, though that isn't their fault! The buffet was outstanding with a great variety of vegetarian and meat choices. It was hard to know where to start first. We wanted to fill up on the delicious appetizers but also try all the entrees, while saving room for the naan and slowly enjoying the chai at the end. Have been wanting to try this place for years and after finally trying...it was just okay. We ordered a few different staples-- Chicken Tikka Marsala, Saag Paneer, Cheese Naan, Vegetable Samosas (not pictured). Everything was served lukewarm but it didn't take long to come out so I was confused. Everything was pretty good except for the Saag Paneer. I typically get Saag Paneer everywhere I go but this one didn't do it for me. It tasted different than most and I didn't enjoy it which was disappointing as this is my favorite dish usually. I am a regular visitor to Holi for a few Years .Mostly I have been there for the lunch buffet. They do have a variety of choices! I love the meat curry and enjoy the appetizers. The food we ordered is consistently described as delicious and authentic, with carefully blended spices. All our guests were very happy with their mouthwatering, delicious dishes and also their friendly behaviors. We did dine in and went to couple of parties inside the restaurant. This is one of our favorite Indian restaurants in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire area. The world had Covid and the restaurant has changed since my last review five years ago. That is the reason for this update. This is a medium size restaurant that features pictures of the Indian Holi Festival on the walls. The festival is very colorful due to the brightly colored chalk dust that is thrown into the air. The result is an explosion of color. After looking at all the colorful pictures, you will not leave this restaurant without a smile on your face. For lunch on this trip, we started with mango lassis and an order of Peshwari Naan. The lassis were very good with a lot of mango taste. The Naan likewise was very good and very hot out of the oven. For the main course, I ordered the Hydrabadi Mirch Aur Baigan Ka Salan, consisting of roasted red peppers and fried eggplant in a coconut curry sauce. My wife ordered the Lamb Sali Boti, and we shared both dishes. Each dish was prepared perfectly and tasted really good. The lamb was so tender, we didn't need a knife to cut it. The Basmati rice was prepared using cumin seeds, giving it a very unusual, yet very good flavor. We wanted to try their deserts, but did not have room. Staying the night in the area and looking for a bite I was happy to fall on my favorite cuisine - Indian! It was a Saturday night and mostly dead which seemed weird but it was also kinda nice as it was fairly quiet except for a party happening in the upstairs room. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables for different party sizes. Of course for appetizers it was Samosas and Curried cauliflower. Samosas were great and the cauliflower wasn't the best seasoned as I've had but they had a nice crispiness and presentation. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and boy it hit the spot. Hot and very creamy, one of the better ones I've had. Had some vegetable curry too which wasn't bad. What makes Holi special though is that it has a bar. Yeah, It looks like they cater as well as host party events so it's easy to have access to that when there are a lot of people. I think it's awesome though. Most Indian places I frequent are BYOB, but it's awesome to have a bar right there with the staff ready to make a drink or perhaps you'd like one of a few Indian beers on the drink menu. I had a mojito which was made well. Holi was a pleasant stop for the night's dinner. If you're in the area looking for Indian food, Holi gets a thumbs up from me. read more

Good Indian food. Came for dinner pickup. Ordered online. I thought the online menu needed pictures as I tend to find it difficult to order Indian food off of name and general description. There were a lot of parking space. Meal comes with 3 kinds of chutneys and some sort of flat bread. Fish pakora was alright. I thought there was an overly fishy taste but nothing unique. Overall this doesn't stand out much in this restaurant. 5/10 Lamb Samosas were alright. Skin was too hard and inside was a bit too dry but we used the chutney and it was delicious. Any of the chutney works. 8/10 Bone-In Goat Curry was delicious with the basmati rice. Curry was the right thickness and very densely flavorful. Not a lot of goat meat on the bones though. Other than that, it was good for what it is. 8.5/10 Butter chicken was also fantastic. The butter sauce was less thick than the curry but when poured over rice, it was just right. 9/10 Lamb boti kababs comes with tikka masala sauce and naan bread. Very flavorful and it has a busy taste of spices and sauces. Naan bread was nicely made and soaks up the sauces nicely. 9/10 Overall, a good experience. I cannot decide yet if this will be our go-to spot in the area vs Treasury in Burlington but they put up a good fight. A bit pricy for the quantity you get but it is what it is. read more

You get bottomless naan (plain or garlic), and they bring it out to you fresh. I thought their tandoori chicken was kind of average. Not too flavorful or charred enough. The curries are all great, though! I also love their paneer dishes and desserts. The staff are good about keeping the buffet staffed, and super responsive. I was there with my family for Sunday buffet yesterday and we were very pleased. The array of vegetarian options exceeded expectations, plus food quality was superb. Service provided by employees was great as well. We've only eaten weekday buffets since first discovering Holi a few years ago, the weekend spread is huge and worth the price increase over weekday pricing. I was very pleased with my food. First, I'm always a fan of variety so I was happy that I could try to items in one dish. The chicken tikka masala was very creamy which I love. The chicken was a bit tough but nothing extreme. The lamb curry was also good and had a slightly sweet taste. The lamb was tender and easy to chew. Although it seems like there wasn't much meat, I think it was a good amount, they were just well hidden in the curry/sauce or "lost in the sauce." The rice was cooked Al dente which is perfect. Absolutely delish! Their samosas were wonderfully spiced and flavored. There was even a slightly spicy kick to it. The aloo palak had good chunks of potatoes and a fair amount of potatoes, too. Hubby's chicken tikka was tender and flavorful. The peshwari naan had that sweet kick to it, which is what it's supposed to have. All the food turned out as described and ordered. This is probably one of the best Indian restaurants we've been to. - Menu variety. Something for everyone. Vegans, vegetarians, meats, seafood, (nonalcoholic) drinks, and desserts. Excellent variety and I saw some dishes that I don't normally see at other Indian restaurants, which I appreciate. - Prices. They also included free papadams with dipping sauces in the takeaway order, which we appreciated and enjoyed! Very good value for money, especially for flavor and portions. - Portions. When we arrived to pick up our food, there were 2 orders with the same name. When hubby asked the front desk which one was his, they asked him whether it had been paid or not. When my husband said it had, they knew exactly which order was our's. As mentioned previously, we specifically added in our order to make our food spicy, which we got. They're on top of their game! - Packaging. All their packaging were recyclable plastics, with a few items (papadam and naan) wrapped in aluminum. During this time of the pandemic, when hubby and I are ordering takeaway 99% of the time, we appreciate restaurants that use recyclable materials and sustainable packaging. What's Not - Spice level. My husband has a very high spice tolerance. We specifically noted in our order to make our food spicy. It was definitely adequately spicy for me. I could still taste the food, but the spice level was there. Towards the end of the meal, I teared up a bit, which isn't easy. Haha... Hubby definitely tasted the spiciness, although it wasn't spicy enough for him. A pleasant find in Bedford Since moving to Maine our Indian food options are limited. Visiting our daughter in Bedford we tried take out from this restaurant. We were very pleased. Pretty typical Indian fare but quite well done. Vegetarian samosas and pakoras were fresh and hot. Typical accompanying sauces were quite good. After reading reviews by two Indians, I knew I wanted to try the lunch buffet. And I was not disappointed. The buffet included my favorite items - samosas, masala tea, and gulab jamin. The flavoring was good, and as another reviewer commented, the tandoori chicken is not dyed to pink color. The tandoori chicken though, could have a bit more fire flavor. Another dish I enjoyed was the paneer. Here the cheese is in triangular shape. So maybe there are more home-made items than other restaurants. I ate 2 fully plates of this delicious buffet. Worst customer service ever! Ordered $100 of takeout and they forgot to include rice. Their solution was to provide me a credit for rice on my next order. When asked for some type of refund as opposed to credit they said they don't provide partial refunds but that they'd send out rice on their next delivery (no idea when it'd show up). After much arguing and a lack of taking any accountability for their mistake, they begrudgingly agreed to give us a partial refund...which was for $5.95...on an order where I left a $5 tip on takeout. read more
