Something with vodka and guava juice. It was yummy!

Beautiful restaurant with fantastic food and service. Our server Shashi was very helpful with the menu and attentive during our meal. We started with Crispy Sesame Gobhi and Samosa rolls. So good!! Entrees were Halibut Moilee and Chicken Khada Marsala. The spice level was just right and everything was full of flavor. No room for dessert unfortunately . Highly recommend Tashan!

Came here on a Friday night at 6:15 with a dinner reservation. We were seated promptly by the wait staff and they took our drink orders shortly thereafter. Everybody was very nice and the interior looked like that of a traditional Indian restaurant. For appetizers, we got the desi bao bun (we ordered chicken, but they brought paneer) and the gol guppa. Both tasted excellent! For entrees, we ordered the baingan bharta (eggplant), masaladar bhindi (fried okra), along with an order of the latcha paratha and the daal makhani. The daal never came out, but everything else was incredibly flavorful. For dessert, we had the halwa chole (sweet carrot dessert) which was a lovely ending to the meal. Aside from the missteps on the wrong bao filling and our daal not coming out, it was an enjoyable meal! Worth trying it out if you're in the area, but service needs a little polishing up.

Amazing Indian food in Burlington! Service here was great! They made sure we had everything and were satisfied. Inside is very lively. It is not a quiet place so not a great place if you're going for a quiet intimate setting. The chicken parda biryani was my favorite of all the things we tried. The chicken is as so tender and the biryani was not overly seasoned but just perfect!

My new favorite Indian restaurant. I realized it was my third time going here in the less than three months. And Tashan doesn't disappoint. Each time I have tried different dishes and they have produced quality and tasty meals. Service is impeccable. I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Harshita, the owner of Tashan. I explained to her that I was looking for dishes without a certain ingredient and she took meticulous care to ensure the kitchen produced my meal without it. She took time to chat with me and also ensured we liked what was served to us. Many kudos to your attention and warmth. The decor is very classy and elegant. I come back with a very satisfying experience always. Keep up the good work.

We decided to celebrate our friend's birthday at this restaurant last week, when we were visiting Boston. The menu had many creative appetizers that we loved. And the high ratings definitely made us want to try it out. First of all, the service was just impeccable. Our server was so friendly and attentive. He joked with us, made sure the kids were taken care of first, kept checking on us constantly, and was just amazing. I wish I remembered his name. Even the owner kept checking on us. She brought the chef out to meet us. Overall, loved the attentive and friendly service. We ordered a lot of food to share: - Chatpatta Katori Chaat - incredible. Absolutely loved it. It was perfectly spiced and seasoned. - Kurkure Aam Palak Chaat - so so good. Loved the way they fried the spinach in the chaat. - Aloo Potli - this was almost like a samosa. I found this a bit bland for my tasting. - Vada Paav - this was good. Wish it was not as bland, but my friends loved it. A bit more seasoning in the potato stuffing would have been great. - Maska Paneer - my son loved it. And I loved the gravy. So flavorful. - Paneer Da Anda Masala - this is a very interesting dish. They use cheese to create an egg shape on the gravy. But it's made of chickpea and lentils. It's sooo good. - Daal Makhani - delicious. I'm a Daal Makhani snob. And when I get a good Daal Makhani, that's brownie points for the restaurant. The bread assortment was delicious too. We definitely stuffed ourselves with appetizers, which we loved. We had no space for dessert. Overall, highly recommend this place for great food, great ambiance, and some great service. Definitely check it out for some amazing Indian food.

Everything went well. Service was great, ambience was nice. Low-key, Indian food cooked to perfection. Went with a party of four, I had the Afghani chicken. Highly recommended!

This is absolutely one of the best places I have ever gone to for dinner. The atmosphere is inviting and sophisticated, the dishes are a perfect blend of traditional and creativity, the staff have smiles all around. It is difficult to find authentic South Asian restaurants in the area and also ones that are friendly and affordable, and this place truly checks off every single box. This easily wins a spot in my top ten favorite restaurants in the greater Boston area. Please visit and support businesses like this hat truly embody the culinary perfection and hospitality that defines the South Asian culture.

Loved this place. They have kept it simple. Menu is just 1 page and its very simple. We ordered nin veg starter, bhuna gosht and chola kulcha for main course. Everything tasted well. Chola kulcha caught my eye and liked the presentation. One unique part was salad they served with bhuna gosht, which i really liked. Service was great and ambience is something adding to overall experience. I will definitely come back here and try rest of the menu.

The space is gorgeous - big, clean, bright, modern. The food was delicious. Probably the most tender meat I've had at a restaurant in recent memory. The waitress was not accommodating at all. She said they couldn't even adjust the spiciness of a dish to mild. That struck me as a bit odd. She also immediately said no to other questions. The manager came out and checked on us and made sure said dish wasn't too spicy. Even offered yogurt to cool it down. Aside from that, they forgot about our drinks until we asked. The menu is a bit pricey, so it's not a place I'd go regularly. All in all, definitely worth a try for the quality of food. Plenty of parking in the lot. They suggested making a reservation for a Fri night but there were only 2 other parties there. The reservation wasn't necessary. And it does require a credit card.

This week I took my parents to Tashan located on 213 Burlington Rd, Bedford, MA. This restaurant is an elevated dining experience featuring fantastic indian dishes. For cocktails we had the Lychee-tini which had tito's vodka, dry vermouth and lime. My favorite part of this drink were the delicious lychee boba pearls 9/10. We also had the copra mojio which had malibu white rum, coconut syrup, lime, simple syrup, and copra. If you love coconut this drink is for you as it also had entire pieces of coconut 9/10. The dhundari madira drink which was quite the presentation! This is a smokey bourbon drink with angostura, orange bitter and lime 9/10. All these drinks not only tasted great but were actually a great deal (cocktails were around $13-$15). For appetizers we had the chatpatta katori chatt which is a form of a classic indian street food. It was in a flour cup and contained chickpeas potatoes, lentil dumplings, yogurt, pomegranates and sev. This is served cold and tasted just as beautifully as it looked 8/10. We also had the subz-e-kabob which was made of assorted vegetables, ginger, garlic, breadcrumbs, and corn flour. The best way to describe these were that they reminded me of small fried vegetable patties 7/10. The lahsooni prawns were soaked in a curd marinade, it had mustard tempering, kashmiri chili, and cucumber-cabbage relish. These were spicy so if you can handle spice then this is a must have as it was the favorite appetizer of the evening 10/10. Finally, we had the malvani fish pakora. These pakoras were made with cod, besan, rice flour, kohlapuri masala, and green spicy mayo. The fish was so fresh and was definitely worth a try if you like fish 8/10. For main dishes we had the harra murgh tangdi which were chicken drumsticks containing fresh mint, yogurt, sour cream and tashan spices 8/10. We had the malai fish curry which had cod, dry roasted spices, bechamel sauce, lemon and kashmiri chili oil 10/10. The curry sauce was spicy and wasn't overpowering in fish flavor. We had the chuninda bhagare baigan which had baby eggplant, peanut sesame curry and copra paste. If you are looking for a vegetable curry dish this one is perfect to try 9/10. We had the lamb biiryani which contained extra lean lamb, and had aromatic spices, desi ghee and raita. This was probably the favorite main dish of the entire evening 10/10. The lamb was simply cooked perfectly. The garlic naan was also soooo good and a must get but also be sure to try the kulcha trio. Kulcha are Indian flatbreads similar to naan, but the key difference between them is that they are made using maida or a refined white flour whereas naan tends to be made with a wheat flour. If you havent had it before it is worth a try (plus they stuff theirs with potatoes) For dessert we had the nawabi tukda which was a malai cake (a soft & spongy cake soaked in sweetened milk) and rose petals. This was a light dessert and a perfect way to end the amazing evening. I don't give out 10/10s often but this was an easy 10/10 for food for me. The ambiance was 9/10 and the affordability 7/10. Check out this spot if you frequent the Burlington Mall or if you are looking for an amazing indian dining experience.

    Bread pudding and espresso mousse

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Tashan. Wow... The buffet dinner style was amazing. This review is for their Thanksgiving buffet, not their regular buffet. The number of options was at least 25-30 options including 4-5 different desserts. I tried probabably 15+ different bites of different dishes. Vast majority was delicious. My favorites were the beet salad with fresh goat cheese, lentil daal, silky fried Eggplants in tomatos sauce, the mushrooms in tomato sauce, butter chicken, a mutton dish (although the mutton was a bit chewy), spicy fried chicken with tomato sauce, lamb meatball, veggie biryani and chicken biryani and a few others. Most tasted delicious, except for the naan, grilled chicken kabob and the spinach kofte. Those did not taste right to me. For desserts, I had the espresso mousse and the warm bread pudding. Not too sweet. Yummy. Their Thanksgiving Buffet dinner was $45pp, which is higher than typical weekday/weekend buffets, but I thought that it was worth it and reasonably priced.

I rarely give five stars but this place deserves it. The atmosphere was as it should be, a restaurant, not a New Year's Eve sports bar. My wife had a filet mignon and fries, I had a rib eye (I never have any other steak) and Brussels sprouts. Everything was absolutely delicious, an absolute riot of flavor. If I could change two things, I wish they had a bone-in ribeye and I would pass on the red wine salt. A little TOO salty. I topped it off with cappuccino. I easily secured a same day bar seat reservation for 8PM. After checking in, was seated at a half empty downstairs bar. No physical menus, everything was done via a QR which is fine I guess, but for a spot that positions itself as a premiere bar a bit tacky. The online menu on the public website is the only menu and where the QR takes you. I asked for a spirits list (logical for a cocktail forward bar), I got a quizzical look and a shrug of the shoulders in return. Given the menu was only 8 cocktails, picking from those I started with the Beachcomber Mai Tai for a whopping $18. This, if it's the true spec, should be a rum forward cocktail with 2 1/2 oz of rum. They batch their cocktails (not a problem) so I couldn't see their build, but there is absolutely no way this drink is made to specification - my guess is they are skimping on rum as a cost play, batching lets them get away with it. Drink was, frankly, pretty forgettable - not bad, just unremarkable. Wanting to see how they could do off-menu, I asked the bartender to make me a Hemingway Daiquiri. Now, for a cocktail bar that has a long history of rum centric and tiki leaning cocktails, this should be an off the top of their head cocktail. It's simple - white rum, lime and grapefruit juice, and maraschino liqueur. Bartender had never heard of it before, and then spent a few minutes staring in to his phone presumably looking up the recipe. He built it using Rhum JM white rum which is absolutely the wrong rum for this drink - it needs a white Cuban rum (which we know we can't get in the U.S.), so the usual sub would be Bacardi, Planteray 3 stars, Probitas, or others. Definitely not a Martinique agricole. This may be a too detailed nit for some, but with the framing that this is supposed to be a premium cocktail bar, this is an error that should not happen, and not for $18. Figuring the third time might be a charm, ordered the Trader Vic 1944 Mai Tai. This is the classic, the standard against which all others are measured. It's a distinct recipe, especially if you call yours the 1944 Mai Tai. This was not that. It was again light on rum with probably the wrong rums used in their blend. It was also substantially over dosed with orgeat making the almond sweetness an almost overpowering flavor versus playing a subtle supporting actor role. Again, swing and a miss. Drinkable if you like sweet, and don't mind hefty almond. But if you want to try the real Mai Tai - this is not it. Overall, for the price, fairly indifferent bar service, lack of information available to the customer (e.g., spirits list, etc.), and fairly off the mark cocktails I think you can find far better spots right now for that same money. If you definitely want that tiki inspired cocktail vibe - your better bet will be places like Wusong Road in Cambridge or Shore Leave in Boston, and I'm sure there are others. Sorry Baldwin Bar, you've lost your edge and it shows.
