It was our last night of the trip, and with the rain coming down hard, we wanted something good and close by -- so glad we tried this place! The ambiance and décor are beautiful, and everything is made from scratch, including the cocktails. We had the Pesto Chicken with arugula and prosciutto -- absolutely divine! We also tried their house specialty cocktail with pineapple-infused vodka, which was delicious and unique. Our server was super sweet, very attentive but never pushy. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and she even checked in to see if we wanted another drink before the bar closed -- such thoughtful service. Definitely recommend!

We come by with a larger group on the holidays and the restaurant was fairly packed. We started off with the breaking bread, fried calamari and brussel sprouts. For entree, I had the fish and chips special. The fish had a thin coating but was very firm and hard. The fries were crispy. I also tried the ribs which were great and fell off the bone. The short rib papardelle was nicely seasoned but the noodles were a tad soft.

The shrimp scampi I had was delicious! The restaurant was nice and quiet and the music wasn't playing too loudly. The waitress was nice but the service did seem a little rushed. The food was pricey but worth it.

I am not sure if Redstone is a chain, but it reminded me a lot of Houston's. I love Houston's, so that is a big compliment. They have a beautiful covered patio space (with its own bar area) and the dining room is spacious, comfortable and plays good tunes. Our server, Mercedes, was fantastic and gave us thoughtful menu recommendations. I enjoyed the parm crusted haddock. Fish was perfectly cooked. The bartender knew his stuff with our martinis. We also appreciated how the staff came around to check on us.

This is a beautiful restaurant, inside and out. I came to a late lunch. It wasn't busy and I sat in the patio. I got the seared Ahi tuna. It was ok but nothing special about it. The slaw under the tuna was ok but again, nothing special. My friend got the chicken stuffed avocado and she said it was very good. Normally we get cocktails but we have to work tonight so we just did unsweet tea, which was good. Our server, Joseph, was very attentive and friendly. We will come back and next time try a steak!

I came here with a group of 7 after work on a Tuesday night. We made a reservation to be safe, but there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed the outdoor area which was covered, which was perfect for us to enjoy the summer weather without the summer sun. Our waiter was excellent and very friendly. The menu had a decent amount of options to choose from. The food was great, and the portions were even better! I'd recommend this spot!

I met four friends for a reunion lunch on a rainy Saturday this Memorial Day weekend. The restaurant is a lovely structure off Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington about a mile for the Burlington Mall, and has plenty of parking. The restaurant was blessedly empty, which allowed us a prime table by the fireplace, a quiet environment in which to chat, and a leisurely dining experience. I got there early and was graciously greeted by our server, Mercedes. When she found out we were first-timers she announced that the manager, Robert, wanted to treat us to a wedge of their signature corn bread. Minutes later Robert appeared with probably the best cornbread I have ever had, warm and flavorful with a touch of sweetness that, when eaten with butter, got raves from everyone at the table. (Well, one person thought it was delicious if a little sweet for her taste, but I loved it.) For drinks we started with several glasses of sauvignon blanc and a Shirley Temple. I asked Mercedes what was good/popular and she mentioned the Rotisserie Chicken and the Baby Back Ribs. Between us we had: the House Salad with Rotisserie Chicken, BBQ Baby Back Ribs with French Fries & Coleslaw, the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich, and two got the Signature Prime Dip. All were well satisfied with their meals, with one of us mentioning she would have liked a little more seasoning on the Rotisserie Chicken. I had the ribs which were, as promised by Mercedes, fall-off-the-bone tender. What we didn't finish we packed up to bring home. We were in a celebratory mood so we shared a dessert -- a Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae, a skillet sized cookie topped with several scoops of vanilla ice cream and caramel, with chocolate-caramel sauce on the side. Sinfully delicious! We left well-satisfied with our experience--the food, the ambiance, and the excellent service by the Redstone staff. No doubt we will be back!

I brought my mom here for her birthday today and we had a great time. Everything was superb. The hostess, Megan, was super inviting and helped make the visit seamless. Our waitress, Diane, was incredibly attentive, she made sure we had everything we wanted when we wanted it. We were super impressed with both of them. The ambiance is also very warm and comforting. What a nice place to enjoy a meal. With a huge fully stocked bar this place is suitable for all size gatherings and the food iso it of this world. It is next level tasty for sure and these chefs are on their A-game. Conveniently located by route 95 it's a stone's throw from most greater Boston towns. We couldn't recommend it more!

i was recommended this place by a friend, and although it is a comfortable environment, the service provided by kianni & trudy was great, however the food fell short of my expectations. when we sat down, we had been talking for a few minutes when i realized the table still had maple syrup residue from the last patrons, and while kianni was busy putting our orders in, i went to the hostess trudy and she was more than happy to wipe down our table again. we came at 1:30 and they only provided their brunch menu, no lunch, however they were willing to accommodate my request for a lunch item (i had wanted a rotisserie chicken sandwich which was unavailable that day, so i opted for the chicken pesto pasta). their service was great, however that was the only thing worth noting. i had a peach mimosa + started with the spinach & artichoke dip which was the only thing i liked. the plate came out & cheese was unmelted, but it did taste good. it was weird that they included salsa and sour cream with the spinach & artichoke dip though? for the meal, i had chicken pesto pasta which was underwhelming. the pesto was more cream than anything and lacked flavor, while the chicken did not seem to go well with the pasta. the chicken was bland and not a great texture. i definitely would recommend a different dish. i also had a tequila pineapple on the rocks and it was weak. my friend had their french toast and was disappointed as well. they thought the sausage would be links rather than patties, and the french toast itself left a little to be desired, even though it was served with pineapples and oranges on the side. who thinks of pineapples and oranges on french toast? spinach & artichoke dip 7/10 chicken pesto pasta 2/10 french toast brunch 4/10 overall i was disappointed, we could have gone anywhere else but their service is great. tables should be fully cleaned before seating next guests, and i was happy they were willing to accommodate my request for a lunch item at 2pm when their lunch starts at 3pm, which seemed a little late. i can't recommend this restaurant to anyone, unfortunately. is there someone who taste tests the menu items? ambiance: 2.5/5 food: 2.1/5 service: 4/5 redstone american grill: 2.8/5

Prompt seating and service. Beautiful patio but you have to be off the patio by 330 pm. I ordered a special Chicken Salad with Gouda stuffed grilled avocados. It was perfect. Drinking iced tea today due to having to work in a few hours so cocktails weren't an option today. Portions and prices were average. Inside the restaurant was dark and cozy. I will go back.

Interesting local beer on tap and other local sourced drinks. The food however, was disappointing. Chicken and Waffles: waffles were incredibly sweet. Like dessert sweet. Made worse by hot honey topping and a sweet breading on the chicken. First bites were good but you get over sweeted pretty quick. OG chicken sandwich was so, so, dry. Same very sweet fried chicken, dry slaw that didn't add any flavor, a few pickles that helped a bit, but no real flavor. The chicken (on the waffles too) was hammered...fried till super dry. Comes with a side of potato chips but they weren't hot or seasoned. The big pretzel app was good. Beer cheese was ok, honey mustard was better. Sorry we didn't enjoy ourselves more. While we had dinner here, I would highly recommend this spot for lunch. First and foremost, the staff were so kind and helpful. Our waiter helped us to figure out what food to get, recommended drinks, etc. The food was quite good. We ordered a number of appetizers (bisque, brussel sprouts, calamari, and burrata). I think we were all in agreement that the calamari was the best (perfectly fried, great hint of lemon), though the bisque was also the perfect treat on such a cold day. For my meal I had the salmon, which was a pretty big portion. The couscous and sauce were all really good, I wish I had a few more veggies, but this was all around a great dish. The prime rib dip sandwich was by far the best entree on the table. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and chocolate mousse cup, both really good, but the chocolate mousse cup was really well balanced with decadent chocolate and peppermint. The restaurant is relatively small, but it wasn't super busy and had a lot of great options! Maybe slightly pricy, but what a great place to stop into when you're at the mall.

I had a cup of tomato basil soup which was delish, and chicken tacos which were on the small bites/apps portion of the menu. They were tasty. For dessert, I opted for a brownie sundae. It was dry and not fresh. The meals are fresh but pastries must be ordered offsite and just frozen. With the exception of dessert, I'll definitely visit again for a bite!

I made a reservation for a Saturday night at 7:00 for two. Note: I originally went to make the reservation online from their website but the availability was not good, so I called instead. Online it pretty much looked booked between 4:30 and 8:00 - I called and was able to get 7:00 without hesitation. So, make note to call if you don't see the time or range listed online. We were greeted as we entered and checked in with the host/hostess. They were friendly and polite and told us it would just be a few minutes. They brought us back to our table and had us seated shortly there after. Our waitress was great; she told us about the specials, checked in on us, and made sure everything was as expected. We ordered some bevs that were very tasty and had great presentations. Speaking of presentation, let's get on to the food. We ordered the Tomahawk, which if you don't know, is a MASSIVE piece of meat. It's a steak meant to serve two people - in reality, it serves way more than two. The presentation of the tomahawk steak plate alone was beautiful! It had a whole bunch of stuff (see pic). They bring it out for you to see, and then they take it back to the kitchen to slice. We ordered medium rare, and probably should have gone more medium but it was not too rare so it was fine. Now, at The Bancroft, it is an à la carte style meal, meaning you order sides separately and usually a few for the table. We had the carrots (one of the specials), roasted potatoes, and creamed spinach. Forgot to say when you order meat, you also get to pick two sauces - and before anything while you wait they bring you some rolls and butter. The rolls started us off on the right foot knowing the meal was going to be phenomenal. They were warm with some sea salt on top and baked to perfection. The steak was mouth watering, juicy, and flavorful. The sauces added a great touch, and the sides were wonderful. It is safe to say, we did not leave hungry! As mentioned, while tomahawk is said to serve two, we had a lot of leftovers so of course we got those packed up to go. They were very considerate with the packaging, putting items in different boxes that made sense. We unfortunately did not have room for dessert but I'm sure it would've been awesome. The Bancroft is definitely a higher scale restaurant so it is on the pricer side, but it is justified. The food tastes great, presentation is there, and service is excellent. It's a great place for special occasions, celebrations, or just because as long as you know what to expect... but with prices today, I'd rather pay this and have it be worth it than what a crappy meal is costing today!

If I could use only one word to describe my lunch, it would be slow. Given two words: painfully…read moreslow. Our waitress arrived promptly, was very pleasant, and asked if we'd like drinks. We ordered ice water with lemon. About five minutes later, the water arrived--but without the lemons. We decided to let it go, and shortly afterward she returned to take our order. We ordered two salads: THAI PEANUT SALAD (added chicken) Napa cabbage, red cabbage, scallions, red pepper, peanut dressing, and crispy rice noodles. CLASSIC CAESAR SALAD (added shrimp) Romaine hearts, garlic croutons, shaved Romano, and creamy Caesar dressing. Then we waited. About 10-15 minutes later, our waitress stopped by to ask if we needed anything. We were fine. Another 15 minutes passed, and she checked on us again. About 10 minutes later, she stopped by once more and said she was going to check with the kitchen. The restaurant was only about half full, with plenty of open tables. We had ordered two salads--it doesn't get much simpler than that. Finally, about 45 minutes after we arrived, our lunches made their way to the table. My Classic Caesar Salad was overdressed, and the shrimp, while acceptable, was a bit dry. I didn't try the Thai Peanut Salad. Ironically, this was one of the few times I would have preferred eating at the Legal Sea Foods in Logan Airport, where they somehow manage to get good food to your table much more promptly. I doubt I'll return to this location. One tip: parking in the lot directly in front of Legal Sea Foods is very tight. I parked in the former Lord & Taylor lot around the corner, which was only a few minutes' walk away.
