My friends were pretty full from prior meals so we split an order of steamed shrimp momos (order of 8) between three of us and two mango lassi's. With the momos were two dipping sauces with one specifically labelled as hot. Dumplings were juicy inside with a thin skin outside. The unlabelled sauce was tomato and cream based while the hot sauce was exactly that, HOT. Mango lassi's were rich and creamy made with more mango puree than what I am used to. Overall, we had a good experience! Bathrooms were clean and staff was patient while we decided on our order. Food was tasty enough and prices were fair. Would come again! read more

The best Indian food In town . The other restaurants can't compare and I've tried every single spot in town. It always taste like something is missing but at food shines the flavor, spice and service are top notch .. My go to order is always the butter chicken extra hot and let me tell you it's actually spicy unlike other places when you order it . I was craving for momo and decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews. This was our initial meal to our vacation and we were excited to try it. When we arrived, there was a table occupied. But, other than that, we were the only ones. The restaurant is both small and spacious all at once. The walls are a beautiful shade of bright yellow and they are also adorned with red and white hand-glazed ceramic subway tiles. At the front of the restaurant is the ordering counter, which has a mini-fridge built into it. On each side of this fridge are potted plants as well as the word "Namaste". There are also tables outside for outdoor dining as well. We ordered Popeye Momo with shrimp, Tikka Masala with pork, Chicken Palak and garlic naan. The Popeye momo with shrimp order has 8 pieces of their homemade dumplings with shrimp fillings fried and sautéed with creamy spinach, and minced onions. Mmmmmm! It was absolutely bursting with flavor. Next, we had the Tikka Masala with pork which was eight dumplings fried and drenched in the tikka masala sauce. It was nice and spicy. We wolfed it down in seconds. Finally, we had the chicken palak which was boneless chicken with fresh spinach cooked with a touch of garlic, onion, creamy sauces and spices. Hubs loved it as much as he loved the Popeye momo and daughter firmly agreed. We were so hungry that I forgot to take the chicken palak. We also shared an order of garlic naan. That was nice, fluffy and garlicky. Everything was homemade, so it took a little time for them to make it. Love this place! Will definitely return when in the area to try other items on the menu! This review is strictly for delivery as I've never been there nor step foot in the building. This place popped up on GrubHub and as I'm sick of cooking, my partner and I wanted to give it a try. As this place is listed as "American" on Yelp, it's really Indian/Asian fusion. We ordered the Meat Plate, Chili Plate, Steamed Momo with Kathmandu Shrimp, Veggie Samosa, Momo Tikka Masala with chicken. The plates came with a good portion of stir fried noodles, two veggie egg rolls and momos. Honestly, when I order again, I'll just be ordering only momos as they are the stars here. The noodles were not my favorite for me. I wasn't a fan of the spices used. The veggie egg rolls were ok, they weren't stellar but they weren't terrible. The samosa was very good. They were not dried out and they were super flavorful. The momos were amazing. Each one was juicy and flavorful and all unique. My favorite was the Tikka Masala Momos as the spices were very good and covered with a flavorful sauce. I'll be looking to see when I'll go here to eat in person. Got delivery tonight and I've found a new obsession: her name is MoMo. Yes, those eyeball shaped dumplings of tastiness are well worth the 8, 16, or 24+ you can crush in one sitting. I've only gotten 2 (tiki masala MoMo and peppered MoMo) and they were both dynamite. The sauces and spices are legit. Only bad part is I feel like I could eat 50 of them, at least. We ordered the steamed chicken momos, fried chicken momos, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken masala, and garlic naan. The momos were so juicy and flavorful. They are little flavor bombs with juicy curry spices. We liked the steamed ones more than the fried ones but they were both very delicious. The curries were so rich and creamy. They really delivered the flavors without being overly spicy. We got them in the medium spice level, which was perfect for us. The garlic naan was so good too. They were perfectly cooked with actual garlic flavor. It's a MUST have with the curries. Overall, the food came out super hot, was ready really quick, and the food was amazing. We found Food shines when my wife was looking for onion rings (odd). As soon as we saw they had momos ( Nepali dumplings) on the menu, we were ecstatic. We got the steamed pork momo, the chicken johl momo and chicken chili momo. All three choices were delicious. The momos were juicy and succulent with the achar/sauce perfectly complementing them. They have a lot of other varieties of momo including vegetarian options on the menu. They are relatively new and i urge people to support them during this difficult time for the restaurant industry. read more
