Amazing, Fun, Yummy! Go! We had an amazing time, enjoyed their food and drinks and the waiters and bartenders were super nice and attentive! We will be back! read more

Great service. Rob at the bar is attentive and made great food and drink recommendations. Margaritas are very refreshing. Had a wet shrimp burrito, half red and green salsa. Highly recommend the green salsa with it, so yummy. Good music. Love the art and decor. Overall great experience and nice new addition to Simi :) read more

I had the worst experience here recently that makes me never want to return. I will say I don't mind the loud atmosphere that's expected at this restaurant. We took a table for the first time, we usually sit at the bar. 10 minutes go by sitting at the table.. Server comes over takes our drink order. I ordered a mezcal Paloma which I stated and pointed directly at a mid priced mezcal reposado for my drink and my man got a Casamigos reposado neat. The server is pressing us on the guacamole and chips, saying how bomb it is, so we agree.. we like guacamole. The appetizer comes out first before the drinks. Guacamole is not great, tastes old like it was made days ago if not store bought. 10 minutes go by his tequila finally comes out but mine does not. He states your drink is on the way. I kid you not, 20 minutes go by.. no drink, I can see my drink sitting at the well. A hostess walks by and I mention "hi I've been waiting for my drink. Can you go check on it?". Hostess goes over to the server I see them talk for a second and than the hostess proceeds to go over to the well and it's obvious that the drink had been sitting there for quite some time, so the bartender starts remaking it. The server comes over to us not apologetic no explanation at all and states a second time your Paloma is on the way and begins to take our order. We order the shrimp ceviche because we did not like the guacamole. I ordered the Carnitas entrée and my man orders the Carne Asada. The food flies out extremely quick before I even get my drink. Which is pretty suspicious. It took that long to get a Paloma and that quick for us to get mediocre food. The shrimp ceviche was literally gray raw shrimp. There was no way I was eating that. My Carnitas was OK and his Carne Asada was pretty sad. 150 dollar dinner that sucked. Our server was all over the place and I honestly felt bad. I thought he was on something, looked pretty coked out. It was not that busy. Maybe five tables at most which were all pretty close together. We didn't bother telling the server about how awful the guacamole was, and how the ceviche was not properly prepared or even edible. We didn't even complain about the 30 minute drink. So we got the check and just wanted to get out of there. The check comes and my drink was completely priced incorrectly and he had charged me for one of the most expensive Mezcal Anejo on the menu. Something I didn't even ask for. 25 dollar Paloma. Price is not a problem when you're eating quality food and drinking quality beverages, but this was not the case. Especially when you are charging me for something I didn't even order or ask for. We just paid and got the hell out of there. Bottom line worst experience, obviously poor management and a restaurant that doesn't care. read more

Horrible experience, the manager Richard is triggered over anything. You pay for the vibe and experience however it only according to the experience they want you to have. Don't go here read more

I've been here a couple of times. The drinks, service, and food have been a hit or miss each time. I love the Auguachiles plate, however each time I've been, they give a SMALLER serving. Not cool especially when it's $25 a plate. Margaritas have been inconsistent. Please train all bartenders to make the same and consistent margaritas. Some days, I've gotten great servers, other days like today was terrible. Some days the food has been great, others not so much. Our waitress was busy talking, didn't bring us our chips, didn't check in on us when we got our food. We had to ask the host multiple times for assistance. The host was nice enough to help and get another server. This location definitely needs to train their employees and make sure their employees are being attentive and consistent including their bartender and chef. Overall, it's okay but needs improvement for the prices and hype. read more

We went last weekend. Kids pricing is a little on the expensive side. $10 for bean and cheese burrito and 1 side, no drink included. My kids did not like the beans. It's not a normal refried bean. My husband ordered the quesa Burria tacos entree that was $20 and it didn't even include rice and beans. It was only 3 tacos. A bit pricey for that honestly. We assumed since it was listed as an "entree" it would include those extras, especially for the price. The vibe was cool. Would definitely go back for just appetizers and drinks and without kids. read more

Love the ambiance, the food is amazing! Drinks are D-lish and everyone is very attentive! Great service !

Very friendly and helpful staff, good with kids, lots of fun lights and decor, and tasty food. We've been there a few times and always enjoyed it. The Sunday brunch is especially good, with a dessert bar and chocolate fountain that the kids adored, bottomless mimosas, tons of delicious food including custom omelettes and tacos, and good coffee too, you just have to ask your waitress for the coffee since it's not out on the buffet with most everything else. read more

Diana and Brittany are the best. Food is amazing, we ordered all the appetizers and we were blown away. Margaritas are so good but the Guayabera is my favorite drink here. Subj an amazing time here! Live music is so much fun. read more

Excellent service and the food was delicious. Came in on a Thursday evening and the food came quickly, beautiful presentation and tasted great! Jaír our waiter checked in on us often and provided exceptional service! The general manager also stopped by and made sure we were happy with the food and service. Came for Mezcal Wednesday and had THE BEST drinks and happy hour food! The manager, Edgar, was friendly and always checked in on us. The bartender, Mallory, was so sweet and also checked in on us regularly. We enjoyed the atmosphere and had fun eating, drinking, and dancing! We will be returning as they have different daily specials, which are all great prices. Had so much fun! read more

The ceviche was pretty good, the carne azada was terrible, hard and difficult to chew, the quesabirrias were ok. The service nonexistent, the ambience way too loud for a restaurant. read more

Great food, loud music. The food is Great!, the bira tacos are our favorite. The ambiance is not great though. The music is always blaring. Feels more like a club than a restaurant. We order takeout read more

I like Kalaveras It's a cool spot. The service is great However music is a little too loud for a place with no dance floor the lighting is not the best. This place is new enough to make a few changes. I'm my opinion The food is good but could be better if it was freshly served, less seasoned & more menu options. read more

This was my first time at this restaurant, but definitely not the last. The food was fresh and very delicious. We ordered the shrimp tacos, birria tacos, and carnitas. We also had margaritas and guacamole as well. Everything was quick and oh, so tasty. Stephany, our server, was amazing! So friendly and nice, with tons of great suggestions. I would totally recommend asking for her every time! Thanks again for an amazing dinner experience! read more

We've been a couple of times and have really enjoyed it each time. Fun drink menu, great salsa. Jair was our server tonight, and he and the other servers have been great. The Fundido is sooooo good. Solid spot! read more

Food is good but overpriced , hostess was very rude, music is WAY too loud and that pretty much made us decide the place is not for us. It's just not enjoyable if you can't even have a conversation at dinner. read more

The pina con chile margaritas are fantastic, but on the small side. I could go for a much larger glass (like a schooner size...or at least a large margarita glass). The queso fundido is a must-get appetizer and the birria tacos are excellent. This place can get quite crowded and loud, so the wife and I usually get here early when we can so we don't feel rushed and can hear each other to talk. read more

Music was way too loud. I ordered the albondigas soup. I actually needed a knife and fork to cut through the meatballs. Drinks were good. Wouldn't go back mostly due to the loudness of music read more

The food was amazing, the wait time for a table and reservation service was perfect. The parking was awesome. The service was great. But they decided that instead of letting people enjoy their meals and conversation, that they would instead blast house music with a DJ so loud that your ears hurt, and you are begging for the check to get the fuck out of there. There is no way to have a conversation with anybody at your table without screaming. Nobody can hear anybody talking. The only thing you ever hear from anybody is the word "what!!?"Turn the volume down!!! Let people at least enjoy their meal to some degree! No reason to ever go back, even though I would love to eat the food again. DO NOT GO ON A FIRST DATE THERE!!! read more

Great Mexican food! HIGHLY recommend the molcajete filled with steak, chicken, shrimp, cactus and Mexican cheese. It was so flavorful and everything inside was delicious! We also had some amazing mango margaritas with a tajin rim and fresh chopped mango inside! read more

I came in on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday and I had an amazing time! The food was amazing I had the quesabirria and it was fire but the best part of my experience was the service. I'm a firm believer that the service you get determines whether you return to a restaurant or not. Props to our waiter whose name is Jair. He went above and beyond and made sure that my birthday experience was epic. His customer service is five star. Make sure to ask for Jair to serve you trust me you won't regret it. Restaurants need to hire more employees with a great attitude and top tier customer service. read more

Food was good the tacos we got were okay cause the meats were served damn near cold it was way too loud me and my girl couldn't even hear eachother drinks felt overpriced read more

Either for a quick lunch or a good time dinner with great vibe and drinks, this is the place. The food it is California Mexican style but it is good (meaning not like a Mexican mothers kitchen) The service is good, sometimes it can be slow depends on staffing as I noticed. read more

This place is very loud food and subpar and very expensive more of a happy hour drinking get drunk place the service is absolutely horrible

The two times I have been here the food is an excellent. The scenery is very club/bar like, they have neon/black, lights, which I think is a really cool Accent. Wouldn't recommend if you are hard of hearing because it is fairly loud It would be hard to hold a conversation. The wait staff is fairly friendly. I got the churro dessert and the one thing I would say is that the churro got really soggy and you couldn't taste the cinnamon soon as it hit the ice cream so that was unfortunate but overall everything else was good... will definitely come back! read more

Food was ok. Service was TERRIBLE! No one came around to ask for a drink order for at least 30 min. We stayed because we wanted to give it a try. It's over rated. Would not recommend or come again. Music they were playing (Bachatas) was not Mexican, did not fit theme of restaurant or food. The kids meals came with ketchup packets, it was odd to me. read more

Sunday brunch is not good. You have to wait til 1:30 for the regular menu. Girl at the door was rude, and does not know how to greet or take care of patrons.
