When KBBQ doesn't "hit". I'm a huge fan of kbbq so it's not like this is a first timer review. Dinner for two here is between $150-$200 depending on what you get. First, the good: the servers offer to change the grills out frequently and that is needed because they get nasty fast here. The seating situation is not bad either, the place is big and open. The beef belly and pork belly were pretty good. The meh: The banchans were hit or miss. Some where tasty and others felt kinda flat, bland, or lower quality. The fresh water eel had a weird consistency but tasted good. The not great: Paying $23 more on top of the AYCE price for ribeye that doesn't taste the best. It kinda looked like they were passing short rib off as ribeye to be honest. The bad: A lot of the meats had unnatural consistency from the over use of tenderizer. The salmon had a weird orange color and tasted awful. There were only a few banchans offered. Usually when paying $150+ I'd expect better sides. I felt like the low quality meat for the price would be the only reason I wouldn't bother to come back.

Y'all, I love me some Korean BBQ! And this is one of my favorite locations. Not only is the food super delicious, The staff is super friendly. I've dined in here several times and I've ordered Uber eats several times and now I'm ordering takeout for the first time. You just walk in up to the counter, You're always greeted quickly and with a friendly face. Place your order, have a seat and the food comes out within 10 minutes or so. On this visit, I was given a complimentary glass of their cinnamon tea to enjoy while I waited on the food. It was good, But it was strong cinnamon and sweet. I love the barley tea, It's mild and has good health benefits. Anywho, I always order the japchae appetizer. You get so much and it is absolutely delicious. You can tell that they make it fresh. I also love their house salad, also very fresh and such great flavor in the dressing. For to go We ordered the LA galbi and chicken teriyaki, both come with bonchon and rice. You get so much food. I love all of their bonchon!! For dine-in, They have so many tables available, And they do a really good job keeping the table cooking smoke in check. So when you walk in you don't smell burnt food or cooked food or smoke. I definitely recommend this Korean BBQ location. It's one of our faves and we'll go back again and again and again!!!

I don't get the hype of these places tbh. They are expensive, you have to cook all the food yourself, and when the middle burner is just getting hot enough, the employees want to take it to be cleaned. The food was good but I felt wasn't amazing or anything to write home about and the service was a little strange with the almost unnecessary amount of employees that asked if we were okay. Just lemme eat! Overall, not bad, but probably won't go again. If it's your thing you'll probably like it but it's a no for me dawg.

This place nails it every time and today was exceptional! The service from start to finish was so attentive. It was very busy and they still came to our table and made sure that our grill was replaced frequently, our sauces were filled, and our drinks were replaced. I've never had such fast and attentive service here, it really was a game changer. This spot is already a bop but after tonight this is going to be one of my favs. I hope they keep it up with the great food and service!

We have been two times and each time the experience has been great! I love the robot that brings your dishes over. The servers are always helpful and pleasant. I brought my niece to try it out and she loved the bulgogi while I savored the LA ribs. So good! I usually like to be strategic and eat meat however I wanted to try the soup so we ordered the soybean paste soup to try. It was ok and the steamed egg was ok. Be sure to try the different meats. Parking can be difficult at times. It's a busy area and for some reason they drew the parking spots narrow so you will see vehicles taking up two spots. That won't stop us from coming back.

Loved this place! It's so fun to find great Korean food. This place is nice because you can select the all you can eat BBQ or the entree options. I love myself an all you can eat Korean BBQ spot, but this time I went for something a little bit different and I tried the bibimbap. We absolutely loved the banchan, it tasted really good. The cheese corn was also a winner. This place can accommodate so many people, it's huge! It's located in a nice spot with a lot of Asian stores near by. I can't wait to come again!

My first Kbbq since moving to Austin and I was not disappointed! I have had so many options living in Southern California and I wasn't sure how Austin's selection would be but I was delightfully surprised! Came at 7pm on a Saturday with no wait. Seated immediately and ordered the premium AYCE menu. Ordered wagyu brisket, prime rib, and ribeye for first round. The meat came via robot servers which was awesome. Servers were very attentive to taking orders, refills, and changing grills. Every meat was delicious as well as all the sides. Will definitely bring my guests here when they come to visit!

We ended up in our new favorite Lamar strip mall -- we've been enjoying sampling all the different cuisines and stores here over the past few months -- and decided to try out K BBQ. Didn't know what to expect -- I'd only been to a Korean BBQ restaurant once before. We happened to be there for all-you-can-eat, which seemed like a decent deal, though my husband and I both knew we wouldn't be able to eat much. I recommend trying the cheese corn, and the bulgogi was my favorite. The service wasn't the best, but we did love the robots. I saw one celebrating someone's birthday, which seems like it would be a fun idea. I saw conflicting information on Yelp on whether you could take food home or not. One review said you could take cooked food -- and the menu said you get charged if it's over a certain weight. We had very little meat left, but we didn't want it to go to waste ... we asked our server for a to-go box, and he said, "We don't do to-go, and if I had seen this before I ran your check, I would have charged you." So ... charged us for food we couldn't take home? It doesn't really make sense. Just be aware.

Walked in to reserve. Easy! When we came in we were seated in a booth. Button accessible to call for help. Friendly staff. Just felt the all you can eat price wasn't quality choices. Food with flavoring was only applied sauce on top which looked hurried. The fire wasn't evenly distributed, the metal grill didn't look like it was the right material? The food was not cooking right even when we changed to different temps. Clean but you see an area turned storage when you go to the restroom. Not sure if this is a clean hazard standard. Servers were nice. Been to several ones I hope it's better next time we come by.

Lunch date with my friend. It's been awhile since I came here last. I missed their salad but everything was delicious. We chose Type A for $39.99 per person and we definitely had plenty of selection. The robot that brings the food is pretty cool. The staff was friendly and attentive. Parking is a bit tricky since the plaza shares with many businesses be patient looking for parking. Definitely a must try.

Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. The Korean ladies who work there are super friendly and will help you make your menu selection if you have any questions. I've been a dedicated regular since 2023. Narrow Street is my go-to for my Korean food fix!

We ordered the ox knee bone soup. The soup was great and had lots of meat in it! I was surprised by how many different side dishes it came with because usually food court meals come with bare minimum. I would highly recommend this place - the location is kind of hidden in comparison to the other stalls with bright signs so I can see why people end up eating the other places tha this spot.

It is a quaint little place, not too big of a space so luckily they did not have a wait when we went. I give it a five star review because of the sushi. The food for me was good, not the best like not great, but it does satisfy the Korean food craving. Presentation of dishes was so nice and fun, the sushi was on fire literally. They start you off with banchan-kimchi, macaroni, onions, and fish cake. It's standard, nothing outstanding, but they do give free refills! 1. Taimatsu Roll - My favorite dish we ordered. It's saucy and has a nice play on textures because of the crispy fried bits on top. It is stuffed with a sizeable piece of tuna and has a sweet mayo sauce. It is definitely more fusion leaning rather than traditional. 2. Dak-Galbi - A spicy chicken dish with sweet potato matchstick slices and rice cakes. There could be more rice cakes and flavor. It was not spicy at all, more of that sweet savory taste you get from gochujang based dishes. The chicken was super tender and there was a good amount! 3. Beef Rib Stew - This was a warming stew with glass noodles, it is a basic soup that is salty and peppery (some may think it's bland). It comes with a bone in beef rib that is fall off the bone tender! Overall, while the food wasn't the most outstanding, I would definitely come back to try other items (namely the sushi). I would also love to try the inari tofu pockets I see online (not sure if they still have that though since I don't think I saw that on the menu). Also, their other fusion leaning dishes like the carbonara tteokbokki sounds interesting.
