I would not recommend Juniors for breakfast food. We enjoy the lunch and dinner there. But tried brunch this morning. It was not good. Wife & I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon towards the tail end of the lunch rush. Seated fast, food came out quickly, & service was okay / a little weird. It's not waiters and waitresses walking around regular assisting people. It's more of a group of kids (very nice btw) who help you then sit on a bench to the front of the building scrolling on their phones all together and with a little patience they come back eventually when you're done eating to ring you up. I ordered the classic burger with some onions rings. The burger didn't match what I ordered & I really didn't eat much of the onion rings. They were cold, dripping in grease, & soggy. Wife ordered the salmon with risotto. Her food was also on the colder side, less than room temp. The risotto was somehow very bland and over salted at the same time. Overall; cold food that was greasy, over salted, lacked seasonings other than salt, & service was okay at best. We'll give it one more shot since this was our first time visiting, but I'm getting the impression this might be a better drinking spot rather than a place to find a good meal. read more

Dined at Juniors today for lunch with our Bosses to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day. We sat outside and were immediately attended to for our beverage orders. Our food order came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their selection (Cobb Salad, Wedge Salad, Soft Pretzel with Beer Cheese/Mustard, Tomato soup, Breakfast Sandwich with Tots). The service was excellent, our waiter checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend Juniors on Central for a great meal and service. I have been here multiple times before, they have a great selection of drinks at the bar and everything I have tried so far on the menu has been a 10/10. read more

When this restaurant opened few years ago, my friends and I were so excited for new restaurant in our Town. For the first visit, We had cob salads dressing on the side, their signature burger and soups and sandwich. The waiter and waitress were so enthusiastic. We could see they liked working there. Beer and wine are great price and test pretty good. The waiter filed up my white wine all the way full. When Covid hits, we only went there few times. The workers didn't have that enthusiastic attitudes...which was obviously new normal for many restaurants. It has been hard for all of us to cope this new situation. Going to the restaurants to eat was as not exciting as before. These days, mask and seating policies loose up and my friends and I start going out to eat again. We chose Junior to eat lunch. Oh no. Never again. When we were there, it wasn't busy at all but we couldn't select seating because it was pretty much all reserved ( I don't think they had any booking on weekday lunch?) There were at least 6 people were on the shift but they were sitting and talking. One of the people was person who used to be so enthusiastic and happy. This person didn't even say anything before we left the restaurant. Actually, only one lady said thank you when we said thank you before we left. The quality of food wasn't the problem. I think food was great. There is not anything to crave for but it's pretty good. I gave 2 stars because at least our waitress checked on us more than 2 times but I honestly think we were lucky to have her because we could have left the place without eating there. I personally don't comment on Yelp or other site for reviews because I know the reviews impact their business significantly. As my culture, I just take it and move on. This time, I had to just need to drop lines because this place needs bring back their all the skills they used to have. I truly hope the owner understands our concerns and learn from it. This place is surely worthy of a visit and I'll certainly be returning for the service alone.. I'm always glad when the service is noteworthy and sometimes forget to mention it and it's something that matters a lot. Thank you ! So, the food, I've been changing my eating habits to include more meat and greens and excluding sugars, breads, rice, pasta and other carbohydrates the salad in lieu of fries and it was off the hook for a " house salad " ... I also had the burger run thru the garden (no brioche bun, I really like me my brioche too, so it was missed) and was asked "pink or no pink"... I've always liked coming to this restaurant. The food is good, the service is good, and the atmosphere is usually pretty chill. But what prompted me to write this review is today's incident. My daughter had dance rehearsal and I needed to feed her before hand. So I went on their website and ordered our food ahead of time. When we got there, I asked if it was ok if we sat down and ate our food very quickly. The host seemed hesitant but after conferring with a guy who acted like the manager, we sat at the front window and she brought us silverware. Upon receiving our food, I look at my salad and immediately knew I effed up my own order. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad (which is BOMB btw) and forgot it came with bleu cheese crumbles (which I hate). I was hesitant but decided to ask the manager anyway if there's any chance I could get a new salad that didn't have the crumbles. I mean the worst he could say was NO. So I shyly asked and then took my words back and said I would just eat around it, since it was MY FAULT and I sat back down. I started trying to separate the bleu cheese from my salad and about five minutes later, he came out with a BRAND NEW huge plate of my salad with no bleu cheese! I was so grateful! He took away the other salad and I was so happy to eat my meal! Idk how much it cost the restaurant to give me a new salad but they've gained a loyal customer for sure. We were in the area and had to stop for an early dinner, and thanks to Yelp we found a great local spot in Juniors. Since it was an early dinner, we were seated right away but it was already semi-busy here with people and group tables. Seems to be a popular place. There are a lot of good choices on the menu, hard to narrow down what we wanted. We ordered a salad and fish and chips, both were delicious. Food came out quickly, fresh and in very generous portions! I was really pleased that I asked to make a few amendments to my salad and they were so accommodating of my request. It seemed to be no issue at all and the salad came out exactly as I wanted. We were very happy with our meal here. Service was friendly and very attentive, we were checked on a few times to see how we were doing. There is a full bar, indoor + outdoor seating with heat lamps, and it is a bit loud inside (music + chatter), just to take into consideration. This is one of our new local favorites. My wife and I have been here twice for lunch in the past couple of weeks. The food is quite good, and the portions are more than ample. The fish 'n' chips are A+. The fries are delicious. They have a full bar with a good selection of local craft beers on tap. The ambiance is pleasant, with interesting large format photos of old Tracy on the walls. Staff is attentive and pleasant/professional. We will have to go back for dinner soon. read more

I've never had as horrible an experience at a restaurant. Please hire a new manager who treats people with respect. The manager was very unacommadating and rude about our two babies and allowing space for them, not family friendly at all. After we had left the restaurant and were walking around downtown Tracy and came back to our cars, he actually approached my husband and I and our baby on the street aggressively. He then approached my sister who was alone putting her baby in the car and cussed her out, he told her that we are all "f-ed" up. Absolutely appalling to be treated this way by the manager who should put service and customers first, but to approach us outside of the restaurant so aggressively was appalling behavior and felt very unsafe. read more
