It was really busy when we came, but overall still a good experience. This is one of my favorite spots, especially for the bread, it never misses. We started with the onion blossom, which was really good. I got the ribeye and fish with mashed potatoes and green beans, everything was delicious. My family ordered a bunch of stuff too, kids ribs and a couple steaks. The only thing was the steaks weren't cooked exactly how we asked, but it wasn't a huge issue. Service was still really good even with how busy it was. Everyone stayed attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Bathrooms were decent, nothing crazy. Parking though... is kind of horrible, so just be prepared for that. Restaurants in general have a decent vibe. Overall still a solid spot and I'll definitely be back.

I usually get the bbq chicken & sirloin combo, but this time I tried something different and I shouldn't have... bbq chicken is always moist and I like to order extra bbq sauce on the side. Sirloin is good and cooked to your liking. Appetizer platter was very disappointing. Fried pickles were cool. Boneless wings were moist but not appetizing. Rattlesnakes bites I thought would be good but weren't; cheese was too clunky and not stringy. Country fried sirloin was veryyy salty; would not order again. Cup of chili is always my fav! So are the mashed potatoes. I usually go for white gravy but the brown gravy is equally tasty.

Came here on a Sunday for a birthday and left very satisfied. We never have a bad meal.

What can I say... this place never misses! Service was absolutely superb! The staff and management were so fun and welcoming! Had great conversations with a few. Definitely enjoyed. Medium rare Port house is my favvvvv!! So juicy and delicious!

We had the best experience at Texas Roadhouse thanks to our amazing server, Amayah! From the moment we sat down, she was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made sure our drinks were always full, checked in at the perfect times, and made us feel completely taken care of without ever feeling rushed. Her positive attitude and great energy truly made our night even better. It's not often you come across service that stands out this much! If you're dining here, definitely ask for Amayah-- she's a star! We'll absolutely be back!

Decided to have dinner at Texas Roadhouse with the family. It was a Saturday around 4, it was busy, but not too bad. We were able to call about ten minutes before arrived and were put on the waitlist. As soon as we spoke to the hostess we were seated. Im sure if we would have went just an hour or two later our wait would have been much longer. As for the food. We all ordered steaks. Each steak was cooked just as we ordered and they were very tasty. Was it the best steak ever? No, but it was pretty darn good which is what one should expect at texas roadhouse. If you are looking for the best steak ever this probably isnt your best bet. Now if you want something that solid, consistent, and taste great. Then by all means, stop by texas roadhouse and you wont be disappointed.

I haven't sat down to eat inside since I had a bad experience with a server for a while now but I love the food so much I just order for pick up online and at the window. I had a horrible experience at the Modesto location so I will not ever be going to that location ever again. Any time I'm in Tracy and Texas is open I will come by and get the bread. Tracy location is more generous and friendly at the order window so I want to share that they haven't lost me as a customer like Modesto did. They are still always busy and much more on the weekends. Even a weekday there are already people waiting for them to open. Parking is difficult for sure on the weekends so expect to wait or circle a few times during those days. Wait time on to go food sometimes takes a longer while on weekends too For a while (during the pandemic) the bread and butter had a different taste but I noticed it went back to tasting good again I would recommend everything on the menu but I usually get steak and salmon. I don't think there is a combo of my favs together but if there was I would definitely get it. The last time I ordered a meal was on a Thursday because i had an email reward type coupon for a free appetizer. I liked how she showed me each item and said what was what which made me want to say they are doing amazing.

Been a long time customer of Texas Roadhouse. However, this location in Tracy is one of the better ones that my family and I have dine in. Only one time that we tried to go here for dinner is during Father's Day and that was unexpected that the wait time for a table was over 3 hours! But, any other times we visited it was never a long wait. The staff in here are always friendly and helpful. Greet you with a warm smile and accurate in taking our orders. Food is always delicious at Texas Roadhouse, especially their fresh over bread. No need to say much about their steak. It is top-notch.

Food, ambience, and service were amazing! They have at least 6+ screens and variety of caricature artists ie. Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, & the Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger..'I'll be back!' My sister & I specifically had the Legendary Margaritas topped with black salt (like some beaches) & see photo. Closest to Texas in name..the Hosts & Servers were amazing..especially Connor..high 5!

My first time at this location and it did not disappoint. Came on a Thursday night after a long day at Great Wolf. We came hungry and was sat immediately. The server seemed like a kid in high school however he was polite and attentive. Service was better than many more expensive restaurants that I have been too. We ordered the Catcus Blossom as a starter and it never disappoints. Bread arrived at the table when we sat and the waiters made sure we always had some which we really appreciated. I had the Chicken Critters & Ribs combo with chili and buttered corn. Hubs ordered the New York Strip with a Cesar salad and sweet potato. This was more than enough food to feed our family of three. If I had one complaint it would be the food was overly salty and I would have preferred less salt. Otherwise you cannot beat the value of Texas Roadhouse and service is always outstanding.

I ordered 14oz Ribeye steak and got a 12oz steak, watch out on these restaurants. They made me another Ribeye but it was hard and not cooled down (rested). I had a really bad experience here it made Dennys look good.

We went here last night on a whim. The place is large and always seems to be pretty busy. I checked in using their Virtual Waitlist and when we arrived we were seated pretty quickly. This place is loud, so if you are expecting a quieter place you probably need to go someplace else. They can accommodate large groups and there were a ton of birthdays being celebrated last night. Anyway, our server (Angelica) was very quick and attentive and was always floating around her area ready to help and/or get something if you needed it. The food was made really well and the 2 meals we ordered were cooked to perfection. We both ordered the 6oz Sirloin and they were cooked like we requested. The meat was very tender and flavorful. It came with a choice of 2 sides. We each selected a Salad and Baked Potato. If you want a nice steak or something else and don't mind a larger and at times noisy restaurant you should visit this restaurant.

I've been to Texas Roadhouse in Vegas but first time in Tracy. Went around 3pm and it was pretty busy, I think possibly due to it being Christmas Week. The hostess was super friendly and said it would be a few minute wait. We were seated in less than 10 minutes by Alicia who was also very friendly and welcoming. Our server Kristin was great- attentive and genuinely nice; she checked on us often. I decided to order from the Early Bird section since I've never been to a Texas Roadhouse before 5pm. I went with the Country Fried Sirloin Dinner. Kristin asked if I wanted the brown gravy or the white gravy. I couldn't decide, so she said we could do both. I ended up liking both of them! For the sides I got the mashed potatoes- delicious and my second side was fee chill, which I really liked. It's hearty and great topped with cheese and onions. It's a good size portion of food for $14.99. It's a typical Texas Roadhouse vibe, on the louder side- music vibrant bar area, singing of birthday celebrations, etc. Cool decor and I noticed the TV's show advertisements of local businesses. I didn't notice this at other locations so not sure if that was specific to Tracy. It was getting even busier when we left so I can imagine this place gets pretty packed during peak times. Definitely a nice dining experience.

A little over a year ago, they moved their weekly operations to a new location at the 19th hole, at the Tracy Golf Course. NARRATIVE: I was invited to Speer BBQ for lunch a few weeks ago by a friend. After arriving, I was surprised to see how nice the set up was at Speer's BBQ new location. Big floor to ceiling windows overlook the golf courses putting and front nine holes. Beyond the views of the golf course, the rolling Sierra Mountains can also be seen in the background distance. The seating area at Speer's is abundant. Lots of four person tables and even a bar seating area with elevated, single seats. Not mentioned on their menu, I ordered a Tri Tip, grilled cheese sandwich which came with a side. I opted for their backed beans. My sandwich was really tasty. Lots of meat and cheese melted around it and just the right amount of BBQ sauce to know you were eating a BBQ sandwich. SCENE: Speer BBQ is located in the rural, Southend of Tracy at the Tracy Gold Course. If you drive South on Chrisman Road, just follow it until you dead end, beyond the 33 and Highway 580 freeways. This with the very low expectations that if there were any offerings, anything remotely similar to Texas Barbecue would be a miracle. Thank heaven for miracles! It's all in the name - Taste of Texas Barbecue puts the flavor and quality where its name is. I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped the brisket and pulled pork on my 3-meat plate and found that everything was moist and smoked just right. At first, I was taken aback that the meats were wrapped in paper and rather luke/room-temp warm. Then I thought that is very smart to keep the steam created in the take-out container from overcooking the meat during delivery (similar to when I use butcher paper to complete my smoking process to keep the flavor and moisture). Having Texas roots, I am very persnickety about brisket in particular. I usually have to have a flat shipped to me when I have the time smoke my own to get that amazing Texas bark. One of the markers of great Texas-style brisket done right is that it has the trifecta - (1) perfect layer of bark, (2) tender/moist, and (3) the smoke flavor comes through so you don't need sauce except to complement the flavor. TTB has taken this Texas girl on a flavor journey back to Dallas!!! For the sides, I chose potato salad and coleslaw, but potato salad is not an option anymore, but is still listed on DoorDash. TTB gave me a call when they received my order to let me know and listed other options - I chose the Mac. I loved the coleslaw. The Mac was good, but I would have liked it more if it arrived hot, so it may have been creamier. The barbecue sauce is perfect - not overly sweet - a great compliment to the brisket. The only thing I added was sliced onions that I marinate in fresh lemon juice. It complements the flavor of the brisket and bbq sauce. Thank you, TTB - I will definitely be a frequent flyer coming back for more and more when I don't feel like ordering and smoking my own! :0)

Everything looks the same and the same friendly atmosphere resides. Service is always awesome, and so is the food. This time we both chose the fish and chips lunch which includes 3 good sized pieces of batter dipped fish, and perfectly crispy fries. It was all great. Prior visit - This is a great little place to be for a meal. Totally unassuming from the street and even when you walk up, as it is in a small strip business center off of 11th Street. When I walked in for lunch, I was immediately greeted by a guy behind the bar (which is right at the door) with a smile. I proceeded upstairs to the clean and comfortable 'loft' and grabbed a table along the window so I could see out. The interior is clean and simple, open first floor to second floor ceiling. Great music playing, and just a nice vibe all the way around. Andrea, came by with a smile and greeting, asked if I had any questions, and headed off with my order. I didn't get the bartender's name, but he was just as attentive and super nice, as he came upstairs to my table and described some of the beers he currently has available. Small batch craft beers are good. . . Food: The menu is not so 'typical' as you get to select your protein, the sauce or spice for that protein, then your carb, and your veggie (or make it a salad). Nice choices too. My chicken with Korean BBQ sauce, beer batter fries and grilled Brussels sprouts was good, especially the sprouts. My chicken was on the dry side, but I have a feeling it may have been due to the fact they were managing a party of 15 as well as all the other patrons while I was there. A bit hectic for two people to keep up that pace. I definitely recommend coming to the Upper Room.
