There was one person ahead of me, and it seemed like he'd been there a while, so I was like, oh goodness... why is it taking so long? lol. But I waited patiently. When it was my turn, the young man at the window was welcoming and kind. He took his time showing me that my garden salads were actually the salads I ordered (and not a Caesar) by opening the containers to show me. It was cute. He also went down the receipt, checking off each item. I guess that's why it was taking a bit with the guy ahead of me. He even showed me the transparent containers to make sure everything was what I ordered. It was pretty adorable, actually, how much he wanted to make sure everything was there. But I can also see how it could take a bit of time when there's a line. Everything was packaged well, and all the toppings were in their own little to-go cups. I got a half dozen of their rolls, which I had not ordered before, so it was a nice surprise to see there were **8 rolls inside!** :) It's like finding extra fries at the bottom of the bag. He also offered me 2 bags of peanuts, which was nice because my husband loves peanuts. Our steaks were delicious. Everything was delicious! Our entrees came with 2 rolls each and a side of their cinnamon butter, which is delicious. I asked the young man if I could get a few extra sides of the butter (for the half dozen), and he said he could give me 3 for free. It sounded like if I had asked for more, he'd have to charge me. So I do wish, though, that the 1/2 dozen rolls included a side of the cinnamon butter w/o having to ask. Great food, great service. read more

I hate to do this, but I have finally had a negative experience at Texas Roadhouse. First off, we checked in online. When we were notified that we were "placed on deck" for one of the next open tables, we were told to wait 5-10 minutes in this super hot converted waiting area. We were already off to a rough start. Finally, we are seated and get our food. My wife had a baked potato that we had to return because of a huge black spot inside of it. I ordered a 16 oz ribeye and instead got a 16 oz sirloin. I was a few bites into the steak and super hungry so I didnt get a replacement steak. My daughter ordered a medium andi's steak. It was cooked medium well. Everything was a little bit off today. Lastly, it was so loud inside of the restaurant. I had to yell just so my wife could hear me on the other side of the table. I believe thats why our waitress got my order wrong... she couldnt hear me. When you spend $115 on 3 people you shouldn't have all of these issues. read more

It was really busy when we came, but overall still a good experience. This is one of my favorite spots, especially for the bread, it never misses. We started with the onion blossom, which was really good. I got the ribeye and fish with mashed potatoes and green beans, everything was delicious. My family ordered a bunch of stuff too, kids ribs and a couple steaks. The only thing was the steaks weren't cooked exactly how we asked, but it wasn't a huge issue. I'm not exaggerating when I say I FOUND MY FAITH TONIGHT AT TEXAS ROADHOUSE. I walked in hungry and skeptical. I walked out a changed woman. That ribeye wasn't just a steak. That was a divine intervention. Every bite felt like God himself had personally blessed the grill. I've had good steaks before, but this one had me sitting there questioning every decision I've ever made that led me to not eat this steak sooner. And then there was the bread. THE BREAD. That bread was not made by human hands. I refuse to believe it. That was heavenly bread delivered directly from the gates of paradise, accompanied by that cinnamon butter like it was some kind of edible communion. At one point I genuinely stopped eating, looked around the restaurant, and thought, "Yep. This is where I'm supposed to be." I FELT GOD IN THAT TEXAS ROADHOUSE TONIGHT. The waitress, Rocio (our divine Angel) was great, the food was incredible, and that ribeye absolutely destroyed every expectation I had. Walked with a party of 7 for my Father in laws bday. It was pretty busy but we got seated right away, our server Conner was fantastic! Greeted himself, got us our cocktails and water to start us off. I haven't sat down to eat inside since I had a bad experience with a server for a while now but I love the food so much I just order for pick up online and at the window. I had a horrible experience at the Modesto location so I will not ever be going to that location ever again. Any time I'm in Tracy and Texas is open I will come by and get the bread. Tracy location is more generous and friendly at the order window so I want to share that they haven't lost me as a customer like Modesto did. They are still always busy and much more on the weekends. Even a weekday there are already people waiting for them to open. Parking is difficult for sure on the weekends so expect to wait or circle a few times during those days. Wait time on to go food sometimes takes a longer while on weekends too For a while (during the pandemic) the bread and butter had a different taste but I noticed it went back to tasting good again I would recommend everything on the menu but I usually get steak and salmon. I don't think there is a combo of my favs together but if there was I would definitely get it. The last time I ordered a meal was on a Thursday because i had an email reward type coupon for a free appetizer. If you have a little wait it's ok because it's worth it. The food was very good. It's a steak house so of course it's a little pricey but like I said worth it. The bread alone is worth the visit. This bread, oh man, the bread is so soft and pillowy. It has a slight sweetness on top and served with a cinnamon butter. I can't wait to go back just for the bread. My first time at this location and it did not disappoint. Came on a Thursday night after a long day at Great Wolf. We came hungry and was sat immediately. The server seemed like a kid in high school however he was polite and attentive. Service was better than many more expensive restaurants that I have been too. We ordered the Catcus Blossom as a starter and it never disappoints. Bread arrived at the table when we sat and the waiters made sure we always had some which we really appreciated. I had the Chicken Critters & Ribs combo with chili and buttered corn. Hubs ordered the New York Strip with a Cesar salad and sweet potato. This was more than enough food to feed our family of three. We went here last night on a whim. The place is large and always seems to be pretty busy. I checked in using their Virtual Waitlist and when we arrived we were seated pretty quickly. This place is loud, so if you are expecting a quieter place you probably need to go someplace else. They can accommodate large groups and there were a ton of birthdays being celebrated last night. Anyway, our server (Angelica) was very quick and attentive and was always floating around her area ready to help and/or get something if you needed it. The food was made really well and the 2 meals we ordered were cooked to perfection. We both ordered the 6oz Sirloin and they were cooked like we requested. The meat was very tender and flavorful. It was the Saturday before Christmas and I was surprised that we didn't have to wait long at all considering the place was pretty packed. It had been a very long time since my last visit and no more peanut shells on the floor but instead they provide you with a bag at each table and a bucket for shells. I'd rather have my own bag of peanuts honestly so I didn't mind this change. I was craving a steak and baked potato so that's exactly what I ordered with sauteed mushrooms on my steak and green salad on the side. My lunch dates tried the steak salad and the grilled pork chops. My steak was cooked perfectly, medium well (don't Judge me) and the potato came loaded just the way I like. Jasmine, our waitress, explained the menu perfectly and made fantastic suggestions. Come hungry and you'll still get leftovers. Definitely get the sampler appetizers (I did that the second visit) and the loaded baked potato. The ribs are just right. PLUS the bread and butter is magical, they'll give you more to go. I've been to Texas Roadhouse in Vegas but first time in Tracy. Went around 3pm and it was pretty busy, I think possibly due to it being Christmas Week. The hostess was super friendly and said it would be a few minute wait. We were seated in less than 10 minutes by Alicia who was also very friendly and welcoming. Our server Kristin was great- attentive and genuinely nice; she checked on us often. I decided to order from the Early Bird section since I've never been to a Texas Roadhouse before 5pm. I went with the Country Fried Sirloin Dinner. Kristin asked if I wanted the brown gravy or the white gravy. I couldn't decide, so she said we could do both. I ended up liking both of them! For the sides I got the mashed potatoes- delicious and my second side was fee chill, which I really liked. It's hearty and great topped with cheese and onions. It's a good size portion of food for $14.99. It's a typical Texas Roadhouse vibe, on the louder side- music vibrant bar area, singing of birthday celebrations, etc. Cool decor and I noticed the TV's show advertisements of local businesses. I didn't notice this at other locations so not sure if that was specific to Tracy. It was getting even busier when we left so I can imagine this place gets pretty packed during peak times. I came here with a few of my friends on a Friday night and it was packed as it always is (this seems to be THE spot for dining out on Friday nights in Tracy).
