Amazing! One of our favorite things to do is to try new places. I can't believe I haven't been here before. We've tried all the spots in Tracy, but I've got to say...this one takes the cake! Every bite was delicious. Great service, great relaxing ambiance, just what we needed on V-day. Our new favorite spot in Tracy. Every bite was delicious. We will be back!

I took a chance with this place and so glad I did! We wanted to celebrate so My husband and I went here the other night and wow.The food was so good, we had appetizers, Dinner and dessert, it's truly a hidden Gem, our waiter, Guillermo was so on top of it, he took care of the whole dinning area. Both the owner and Guillermo work as a good team, they took care of all the customers, even when it got a little busy, I can't wait to make another special occasion and come back. Restaurant was amazing ambiance and the atmosphere was great, love the lighting.

Get a dessert! The key lime pie was just as stunning tho I didn't get a picture, I ate it too fast.

I think about this place every day. The ambiance gives Italian speakeasy, and the waitstaff is so nice. You do have to call ahead and make reservations but the atmosphere is so cool and the food is so good I don't mind.

Went with my wife on a Friday evening. I've heard about this restaurant for years but it was our first time trying, and we were both really impressed. The ambiance is cozy- the decor is very simple. It was perfect for two, and we saw parties of 4-5, but since the dining room is small, you'd want reservations especially for a larger group. It wasn't too loud. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. Service was prompt. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass, as well as a full bar for cocktails. The menu I'd describe as a California spin on an Italian bistro, with a lot of seafood options, as well as pastas, steaks, and chops. We shared a crab cake appetizer: it had a spicy kick, and excellent homemade tartar sauce. A simple salad of greens and tomato with shaved Parmesan cheese was fresh and tasty. My wife had scallops with a creamy curry sauce- perfectly cooked, tender, and the sauce was delicious. I had seared duck breast with a cranberry glaze- also very tender and tasty. And we shared an apple pie ala mode, with a homemade pastry crust. Everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and nicely presented, and the prices are really quite reasonable considering the quality. It's nice to have another option for an upscale dinner in Tracy, whether for a date night, family celebration, or entertaining guests.

Last minute reservation, What made this so special is the passion of the owner, very friendly and he cares about the quality of the food and service. I ordered the halibut and it was so delicious.

Service was okay and the place is small. Owner tries to upsell the wines if you buy the bottles. Wine list isn't updated as well.

Bay Boys Brewing - Beer flight

Bay Boys Brewing

They used to be a brewery but now serve other beers. I think they still have a couple of their own…read morebut I would consider it a typical brewery type of establishment. They have a small range of alcohol as well. Quite dark inside. Seems like it's gets a different vibe in the evening. They do have a bunch of dart boards on the side as well. The knocks on stars are for cleanliness. Counters were not clean and not were the bathrooms. My wife complained there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Perhaps we hit an off day and they didn't clean up and restock from the night before.

Another location on my list of places I've been wanting to try…read more I loved the beer...the flights are my favorite way to try em all I asked the first employee for their choice for me to try as a new customer from dark to light, the next employee asked if I still wanted my tab open but I closed it and she still let me sample her choice of lights if she was the one that poured my flight. So my star off are a few cons I don't know why they are called the bay boys because they don't seem like the people working here are from the bay or know about the bay life They play country music here and country music only My stars for them are based off the beer and the presentation, price, and the overall location/atmosphere The art work brings fun and I would love to bring a huge crowd here but the music would probably drive us away They play sports and the news on the TVs around and a few games are open for play We enjoyed the air hockey and darts I would like to suggest their beer and hanging out for a little bit here would be great I may visit again soon but next year soon if anything

I come in 2-3 times week when staying in Tracy (hopefully I haven't worn out my welcome there LOL)…read more Food has been on par almost every time I've eaten/gotten take out. My go to are definitely the avocado egg rolls, pot stickers, mini pizza, burger sliders from the appetizer menu as well as their sauced boneless wings and fish n chips entree. Service is the best there. It's usually Brooke working the bar when I go in and she has always treated me well since I've been going. She's fast, she knows what I like to drink and constantly checks to see if I have everything I need. The rest of the staff is solid too (Nico, Ronaldo, Jocelyn, Henny). Even the managers take the time to say hello. The ambiance is usually pretty relaxed and cozy when I come in during their late night happy hour, which is what I prefer. There have been times I've been here during the dinner rush and on game days where it can get loud and hectic, but I see the staff working hard to keep up. I appreciate the staff there. Cheers!

My hubby and I asked for water as our drinks, which had black specks inside. We asked for new water, which was thankfully clean this time. Our waitress kindly double checked to make sure. Then our food came, which tasted decent but we never got any utensils so we asked for that. Unfortunately, they came dirty and I didn't want to bother our waitress again so I used the water and cloth to clean our forks. We were also never offered any water refills throughout our meal and it was hard to flag down any other waiters as they weren't near our table. We ordered a side of sweet potato fries, which came unseasoned and was such a small plate for $7. So overpriced! Ambiance was the same as last time - normal amount of noise and the restaurant's great for watching sports. Not sure if I'll be back next time...except for maybe just the pizookies.

The restaurant was decorated in the style of a pub. Our server was very pleasant and answered our questions about the menu. We tried the chips and queso for starters. The cheese was very creamy and tasty. For our main course my wife ordered the Cajun pasta. She really liked the spices in it. I had the garlic shrimp pasta which I found creamy and flavorful. The portions were generous; we even took some home! I will definitely check out some of their other menu items when I'm in the area again. Thanks Upper Room !

Everything looks the same and the same friendly atmosphere resides. Service is always awesome, and so is the food. This time we both chose the fish and chips lunch which includes 3 good sized pieces of batter dipped fish, and perfectly crispy fries. It was all great. Prior visit - This is a great little place to be for a meal. Totally unassuming from the street and even when you walk up, as it is in a small strip business center off of 11th Street. When I walked in for lunch, I was immediately greeted by a guy behind the bar (which is right at the door) with a smile. I proceeded upstairs to the clean and comfortable 'loft' and grabbed a table along the window so I could see out. The interior is clean and simple, open first floor to second floor ceiling. Great music playing, and just a nice vibe all the way around. Andrea, came by with a smile and greeting, asked if I had any questions, and headed off with my order. I didn't get the bartender's name, but he was just as attentive and super nice, as he came upstairs to my table and described some of the beers he currently has available. Small batch craft beers are good. . . Food: The menu is not so 'typical' as you get to select your protein, the sauce or spice for that protein, then your carb, and your veggie (or make it a salad). Nice choices too. My chicken with Korean BBQ sauce, beer batter fries and grilled Brussels sprouts was good, especially the sprouts. My chicken was on the dry side, but I have a feeling it may have been due to the fact they were managing a party of 15 as well as all the other patrons while I was there. A bit hectic for two people to keep up that pace. I definitely recommend coming to the Upper Room.
