I've been going to Sizzler since I was a kid. Decided to go to Manteca Sizzler on Easter Sunday. I got the ribeye steak with ayce salad bar and my wife got the ayce salad bar. One thing I liked about this Sizzler compared to the one in Modesto and Turlock, they actually still have and provide their own Sizzler steak sauce! I like A1 steak sauce but I love the Sizzler steak sauce which usually is more sweeter than A1. The salad buffet area was clean. Our waitress was great and checked up on us. Overall, we like the floor plan of the Manteca Sizzler which was open. I would go here regularly just because of their very own steak sauce which was already on the table. read more

A very nice Sizzler with the classic salad bar that many of us can fondly remember from our childhoods across the country. Great to reminisce and bring the next generation to enjoy the experience of the Sizzler salad bar-clam chowder, fruits, salads, dessert, hot foods They have all the favorites from yesteryears. The only thing I didn't see was the child salad bar (with goldfish crackers). They did have lots of jello and even had ambrosia salad. They also had Nilla Wafer banana pudding. The seating here and ambiance is very nice and the servers are pleasant and helpful! Join the app club and occasionally they will send deals to help offset the cost. They are good about refilling the food too and on a busy weekend, and they never ran out of chicken wings. read more

My family would always come here after Sunday church and they may have remodeled/revamped through the years but the classic food staples remain. Awful experience before we were ever even seated. My 8 year old and wife ordered the Shrimp Shrimp Shrimp platter to share. After paying for the 5 of us they only gave us 4 sets of utensils. When I asked for an additional set they told us they could not because we only ordered 4 meals. Unbelievable!!! The manager took the approach that the customer is wrong when discussing the situation. Food was delicious but service was a bit off. They seemed to be coming by and checking a lot but I only noticed our missing food after everyone that order after me get theirs. Good thing they kept the bread coming. Once we let them know I didn't get my order it was brought out but I just kind of wonder why that was..like did they forget what table my order was going to perhaps. It was a busy Thursday evening due to big family groups coming in celebrating graduations. And just when you think there's room in comes your dinner and by the time your done get ready for the real guilty pleasure. Sizzler is a great casual restaurant in Manteca (near Costco Manteca and Great Wolf Lodge). While it is a steakhouse, the best thing I like about the place is the Salad Bar Buffet ($19.99 as of 3/15/26). It's all you can eat, and nobody ever has any guilt for eating too much fruits and vegetables and salads. But this Salad Bar also has hot food too, like soups, taco and nacho bar, chicken wings, pasta and meatballs too. I really enjoy the combo of salads and hot foods and for the price, it's a real bargain since its a buffet (AYCE) they have an ice cream and dessert bar too that's included. Btw, my server Carlos the other night was awesome too! Thanks Carlos! Great service, great food, good price, equals a great place to have lunch or dinner :) Pro tip: The Salad Bar by itself is $19.99, but if you add it to an entree order, it's only $9.99 as an add on. I helped the 77 year old order through Door Dash for her and her husband. They ordered Steak & Crispy Shrimp, Salmon, two Caesar Side Salads, Clam Chowder, and a Mango Lemonade. She asked the Door Dash driver if everything was there. He said that it was. It wasn't. They left out the Clam Chowder and one of the Caesar Side Salads. I talked to someone at the restaurant and they would have it waiting to be picked up. I suggested that they should be in charge of delivering. I was handed to a manager. She said that it was Door Dash's responsibility. Apparently, people working at Sizzler at not responsible for making certain people get their orders. I guess $20-$30 isn't anything and who needs to present great customer service when you can be a disagreeable manager. Remember, it's someone else's responsibility in this world. read more

My husband did Ofer a burger and add on the salad bar - came out to be 4-5 more dollars to do so. They brought taxas toast to the table and the kids' meals came with fries. Salad bar is clean with many options. Cantaloupe and pineapple, fresh fruit. There were a number of hot bar options - taco and nacho bar, pasta, chicken wings. Wings have different sauces you can add. 4 different soups. I tried a little bit of the chowder. Dessert bar had fewer options than I expected. Just brownies and sundaes, but that hit the spot. My brother and I stopped here after skiing at Dodge Ridge for the day. It was Valentine's Day, so many places were full. While searching for restaurants along our route, my brother saw the Sizzlers. We used to go as kids, and we thought it would be a nostalgic experience to go there. The line wasn't long, and we were seated right away after paying for our all you eat salad bar. The salad bar was ok. The hot food options were decent, but the chicken wings were exceptional. It was also nice to have many soup options after a day of skiing. The restaurant is huge, clean, and very welcoming, with a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. Prices are reasonable, and the food quality is just as delicious as I remembered. I went for the famous Salad Bar, and it did not disappoint! From creamy Clam Chowder, crispy Fried Chicken Wings, and build-your-own Tacos, to pasta and, of course, fresh salad with ranch dressing and all the trimmings--it was the best. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Sizzler never disappoints, and this Manteca location reminded me exactly why I loved it back then. Definitely worth the stop! read more
