My wife and I walked in Saturday evening towards the end of the Wine Stroll to try a new place and grab some cocktails. Upon walking in the vibe and ambiance was cool. They had live music and it was prefect for what we were out for. Except for the service that was terrible. The mixologist made us drinks after she acknowledged I was standing at the bar for like 15 mins. She was nice to acknowledge but also apologized cause she knew I wasn't helped. There were like 5 other employees walking around without a single regard for service. Drinks were made well but the service left us no choice but to drink finish it and leave. The spicy mango was actually spicy and left a kick for sure and the blueberry bliss is legitimately the best drink I've had in my life. If I could give zero stars, I would. The only reason I am giving one star is because the décor and ambience were nice. I am extremely disappointed with the service we experienced on Tuesday evening around 6:30 pm. My husband and I were the first customers to arrive, yet we still had to wait about five minutes to be seated while the manager was sitting near the entrance. The server/bartender also appeared to be on break, sitting with the manager at the time doing paperwork. We placed our order promptly and received our drinks quickly. Shortly after, three other tables were seated and also placed their orders. Since we were the first guests and the restaurant was not busy, we naturally expected our food to arrive in a timely manner. To our surprise, every table that arrived after us was served their meals while we continued to wait. We politely asked about our appetizer and were told the server would check on it. After another 15 minutes passed, there was still no update, apology, or explanation. In total, we waited 45 minutes with no appetizer, no food, and not even a check-back to see if we needed drink refills. We felt completely overlooked. Eventually, we got up and went to the server to close out our tab. Once again, there was no explanation and no attempt to resolve the situation. We were simply charged for our drinks and left, deciding to dine at another restaurant few doors down. We were really hoping this would become a cute go-to spot for a nice meal since the menu looked very appealing. Unfortunately, the lack of basic customer service and communication made for a very frustrating experience. We walked in and instantly got a strong smell of curry, I love curry but was surprised to smell it so stronge as I walked in thinking it was just a bar "6 cocktails". I was wrong as they do sell food and it all sounded amazing. They even have the kitchen open late! 2 friendly ladies working the bar, only one looked experienced. I have heard about and driven past this place a bunch but never made it in. It is an Indian fusion restaurant and I love Indian food so I was excited to finally be able to try. I ordered a dirty martini that came with blue cheese olives and it was one of the best one I've had. She made it pretty much perfectly and then suggested the lychee martini which was also tasty but I preferred the dirty martini. I then ordered the tikka tacos which didn't disappoint! They were spicy but not overbearing and had lots of toppings with two different sauces that were to die for. A sweet one and a cilantro type that was very refreshing with the spicy tacos. I do wish the tortillas were crispier but I'd order these again for sure. We had fine service and the bartender was super friendly and vibing with all of the customers and dancing to the music. We had to ask for a food menu, request utensils after our food arrived, and were never offered extra plates for sharing. Despite the place not being busy, staff seemed more focused on chatting than checking in. The food didn't help: dry, salty ribs, boxed-tasting mac, and an overpowering barbecue sauce. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience was disappointing. I ordered a chicken dish and politely explained that I do not eat bone-in chicken. There was no indication on the menu that the chicken had bones. The server was understanding, but the manager's response was surprisingly unprofessional. Instead of simply discussing replacement options, she told me that the kitchen had spent a lot of time preparing the dish and that it would have to be thrown away. The interaction felt more like being guilt-tripped than receiving customer service. To make matters worse, shortly after this conversation, the manager brought us our check even though we were still eating and had not finished our drinks. It felt as though we were being rushed out of the restaurant. I understand that restaurants have policies regarding returned food, and I would have respected whatever policy they chose to enforce. However, there is a respectful way to communicate with guests, and unfortunately that did not happen here. She was incredibly rude and I was taken aback by the way she spoke to us The food may have been fine, but the manager's attitude and the way the situation was handled left a negative impression and overshadowed the entire dining experience. Had to try the new drink spot in Tracy called 6 Cocktails. We were able to meet the owner and he was very friendly and gave us the back story behind the name. There were not too many drinks on the menu with Vodka but the bartender was sweet enough to make something amazing off the menu. I also go the seasoned fries, they were just okay . Although we only came for a drink, the bar food we did order, chicken tacos and Parmesan truffle fries were delicious.
