Ginseng M13. Korean Chicken Soup with Ginseng - 삼계탕
Rosa L.

The food was pretty good especially the fried dumplings. Nice place for a quick lunch. The place was small but fully seated. It would be nice if they had an additional waiter. One person picking up calls, serving and taking order was too much. So the service was not good only because it was too busy. Orders got mixed up and took a while to get the check and to just get a bowl for the soup.

A hidden gem of a Korean restaurant. I love supporting local businesses and this restaurant not only gave mom and pop feels, but also was definitely very authentic. There's a few spaces for parking directly in front and only a few tables inside, fairly small. When I came for dinner, there weren't many others here so we were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and service was great! We ordered a few dishes off their mains which have a variety of rice dishes, soups, noodles and more. After putting in our order, we were given a variety of banchans which most Korean restaurants don't really have these days, other than kimchi. All of the banchan tasted homemade and were delicious, and they refilled it for us too! We got a seafood pancake to share which was crispy so it was the perfect texture but the only fillings were green onions and squid. I got the samgyetang, aka ginseng chicken soup, and it tasted suuper hearty. It's usually filled with sticky rice and chestnuts which ended up coming out of the chicken after cutting it and was delicious, but could've used more rice, maybe even a side of rice to accompany it. The chicken was a little tough and didn't have much meat but I loved the soup which you know is full of collagen. I also tried my friend's spicy pork over rice, a classic with thinly sliced pork. The jjampong rice was served with a huge portion of the jjampong soup. It was spicy in the best way and filled with so much seafood. The cold noodles were also delicious but could've used some more broth. Definitely a restaurant that I would come back for!

We stopped in for dinner and the food was good, filling and a good price. The service was also very good.

Tried this place for the first time and got it as take out. I ordered the haemul soondubu and yukaejang. Both very tasty and flavorful. Will definitely go back and have it in restaurant next time. Meal was great and eating in will probably taste even better! Additionally service was quick and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Stir Fry Pork. Slightly Spicy & Sweet. Very good but portion needs improvement for the price.

We've been back several times and this has quickly become a new favorite. Not sure if the management changed, but the older not-so-friendly woman is no longer around, and instead - a new sweet lady is always there now, front and center. She seems to be the owner, and is very welcoming and attentive. The service and food have all shot up for the better and they've definitely grown their business because it's always pretty busy now. Their prices have gone up a bit - I don't think due to popularity, rather - because America and inflation - sigh. Everything we've had here, has been consistent across multiple visits!

Our foodie grown up kids wanted to try this restaurant that specialize in Korean street food. Don't know what to expect, photos were misleading and I thought this place only had outside tent dining area, was greatful for the small restaurant with limited seating, approximately 20-26 seats. Very homey with locals eat here felling. We plan on returning to try more on their menu. We recommend this restaurant - especially the soysause marinated raw crabs, so sweet and tangy!

Craving for Korean food, and we gave this place a try. Very friendly people and great authentic food. Will definitely come back again!

After reading some great reviews I decided to walk over and try this place out. I do pass by it almost every day on the bus after work but I never knew the name of the place because it is only in Korean. But once I found this place on yelp I looked at the location and the photo of the outside and was able to figure it out. I have to admit I was always intrigued by it but the timing just never worked out. WOW, am I glad I decided to check this spot out! Walked in at around 3:30-4pm and the place was empty but I was there for takeout on this given day. Found out lunch special ends at 3pm which is good to know for future visits. This place is no frills just very straight to the point and feels like one of those restaurants where you're bound to get good food. I ended up ordering the Haemul Sundubu(seafood tofu stew) and the Jeyuk Deopbap(stir-fried pork w/rice) which came out to $34 and change, which I thought was decent in comparison to other places. One of the ladies asked me if I would like some Kimchi to go which I felt was really thoughtful because I've heard that the ban chan is usually something only really offered when you dine in at a restaurant. Food only took about 10 minutes, I paid and left them a tip because they were super nice and this place already seemed like a gem. When I got home I dove into the Sundubu and the flavors were great with an abundance of tofu. The only thing I have to point out in an otherwise fantastic dish is that there wasn't much seafood in the soup. Not a complaint at all, because the soup was delicious and I would certainly order it again, but it is something I felt the need to point out for future customers so you know what to expect. Next thing I tasted was the kimchi and my goodness it was so fresh and crunchy! Absolutely delicious Kimchi. The stir-fried pork with rice was awesome as well : tasty with a kick but not overly spicy at all. Great balance between pork and onions. Overall this place is a gem. I most certainly will be returning and may make this my go-to whenever I'm not in the mood to cook at home.

Stir fried pork and ride was amazing.

Amazing service with a quaint family restaurant feeling. Food was incredible and came out fast. I'd go back in a heartbeat next time I'm in the area.

Cold noodle to go

Great tasting cold noodles / food. Seemed like authentic traditional vibes. Every single person eating inside was Korean , and had that feel of a hole in the wall in Korea. The food tasted just like I imagined it would be. High quality and not too heavy on the stomach. I ordered pick up and didn't eat fresh inside but it still tasted great. If I ate inside probably would have tasted way better in my opinion.

Yum! Glad I came for dinner. The owner is the sweetest. I ordered the cold noodles, which are usually ideal for summer. Nonetheless, I slurped away! . The kalbi was my fave, it has this nice buttery taste .

This place is a little of a hidden gem and not quite like other Korean restaurants. But no gatekeeping here! We also came at a weird lunch time around 2pm so it wasn't really busy and we were seated right away. Once you enter, you'd quickly notice the very detailed beautifully hand painted murals on the walls and an abundance of painted butterflies. The attention to detail is impeccable! The menu is also very cute and I'm guessing handmade. It was pretty detailed and we appreciated learning about each dish before deciding what to order. We ended up ordering the Kimchi Pancake with seafood, the spicy bulkoki udon and the jeyuk udon. The kimchi seafood pancake was super crispy and filled with squid and shrimp! It also came with a semi sweet dipping sauce that paired nicely. Both udons came out piping hot and fresh! Udon had a nice chew to it, was loaded with vegetables as well as meat for each dish. The egg was fried and did not have a runny yolk. For sides, they gave us 4 things- a tomato salad, kimchi cucumbers, braised string beans, and bean sprouts. The tomato salad came in this cute apple shaped dish but neither of us really cared for it- this is completely biased though since we're not really fans of tomato. What we really did love was the kimchi cucumbers! Also at the end, they served us 3 pieces of cantaloupe which were very sweet. Overall, yummy food, cute shop, and friendly/nice staff! I'd come back to try their other food options in the future!

They are known for their raw crab which I wish I could eat but I can't right now (I will be back to try as soon as possible!) but they did bring o a little bit with the Banchan any my friend thought it was great! The cold noodles were delicious as well, the texture of the noodles as well as the flavor! We got a regular one and a spicy one for the travel and both were great but I think I prefer the spicy one. The barbecue was great as well and the servers helped grill a portion longer for me once we asked them to with no issue! The store was pretty spacious and it was great that there was a parking lot because it was super cold and we didn't want to have to walk back to the car after a hot meal. Overall, everything we had we all loved and I will be back for sure once I can eat the raw marinated crab!
