Got the bento which is a nice mix of everything so I got to try it all. The chicken egg roll is ok except it tasted a bit cinnamony or some spice I couldn't identify. The gyoza was nice and crispy, good taste. The salad is fine, good dressing. The added shrimp tempura was yummy too. I got to go so it got a bit spicy but still fine. The chicken teriyaki was yummy. Great sauce. The chicken was thinly cut but they give a good portion. The yakisoba was good texture but the taste has kinda a sour taste. I do wish they still had the crab salad sushi option instead. This place is just garbage . I ordered the Katzu box. First of the Katsu was not made fresh. It chicken was dried out. It looked and tasted like it was fried earlier in the day reheated just for me. Who does that ? Anyone you serve that will never come back. The box overall was filled 80% with cheap starches. The katsu was so thin and the rice it was sitting on was 8 times as thick. At most you ever need 2x the rice of the katsu. I would expect a freshly breaded and fried katsu. The katsu needs to be 3x the thickness . Also fried food needs to breeze and can not be in box. It was all lump & soft. You say this is Japanese food , they would never fry gyozas. Pan fried would hold up better in a box as well. I never heard of a Japanese's egg role. The noodles where just one lump all sticking together . This place has been my worst food experience for a very long time . read more

Ordered ramen, yakisoba, and teriyaki. The ramen was inedible, completely watered down broth that somehow only tasted of bean sprouts. Yakisoba was drowned in Sriracha to the point that it was completely inedible. Teriyaki was dry and tasted like liquid smoke. lots of food, but it's all pretty average tasting. not particularly bad, but not particularly good. the katsu was a bit dry. the cabbage slaw was odd-- i'm used to smaller, thinner pieces of crispy cabbage, not bigger pieces of steamed cabbage. i felt like none of the sides really complemented the main dish well-- it was all fried or oily or something, not very fresh or healthy tasting to balance out my katsu. too much food to eat in one sitting so i saved half for later. read more

Umm. Okay. Look, I have few words here. Mongolian Beef? Really? Tiny, hard, rectangular chunks of beef, about one ounce or so, zero flavor, scared to give to dog. Onions and sauce were decently flavored, but not typical of Mongolian Beef.... Also General Tao's Chicken? Yikes. Old, stale, tiny, deep-fried chicken pieces smothered in ketchup (thick, pasty), frozen mixed veggies (you know, diced carrots/peas/soybeans just like from a bag at Safeway), and old, dry rice. $16 + tax. Vertigo inducing, loud mariachi jams blaring in a teriyaki joint? No extra charge. Interesting experience, but would not repeat even if free. Oh brother. read more

When I read so many positive reviews about this restaurant, I was so excited to try their food. I ordered a "chicken bento" through Uber Eats. When I received the bento I found out that this "Chicken Bento" does not have enough "Chicken"...... I paid about $17 and it only came with 7-8 pieces of chicken....... Then I thought their chicken must be really good. But, it was just a chicken with teriyaki sauce... Nothing special.... As a Korean I really love the rice... but the rice was really hard and tasted like it has been out for long time.... They give you the yakisoba and some tempura but they are just low grade yakisoba with tempura, nothing special.... I do not think they worth $17 dollars.... If you are looking for some really good bento box, I would suggest you to go to other bento box restaurants.... maybe Kobe? I personally would not recommend this place for sure.... read more

When you order through DoorDash DO expect to have a smaller portion... scraps almost. I thought it was chance or something along those like where it "happens" but no. I ordered through DoorDash and 4/5 times I ordered Chicken Yakisoba or Chicken Katsu I could swear to you that there were 5 pieces of chicken in either order and the yakisoba was extremely overcooked. HOWEVER I give 3 stars because when I order over the phone, the portions are marvelous!!! It's photo ready almost and tastes spectacular. Solid place to grab food. I've tried a few dishes, and my favorite is the stone pot. Although they have some creative ways to package it to-go, it's still best eaten while hot in the restaurant. I hit Joybox up sometimes when I don't feel like making dinner. They have a decent "bento box" (not traditional) that's not bad. How are you going to have a curry with no spice in it? Literally tasted like just gravy not even any salt in it. Inedible. I've had proper katsu curry before and there's a small amount of heat in it not a lot but still. Everything was cooked nice and packaged well but the curry is just plain Jane gravy. read more

Gosh the pics looked good from Yelp reviews but 15 min later from when we ordered our food....a bitter disappointment!!! Bento box comes in a plastic bento box! PLASTIC!! Come on!!! Really! The short ribs are not quality like there other restaurant "Kobe"! The noodles that came with the bento was cold!!! We are talking like they had noodles in the fridge and just warmed the noodles in the microwave and it was cold in the middle! You know what I'm talking about?!! Plus the so called veggies looked over cooked and stored! Horrible!! The egg roll was maybe the only highlight! It was hot and tasty! The so called veggies that came with bento was useless! Either make the veggies (the hard part of the cabbage) into a Kimchi or don't serve at all!!! The beef teriyaki was of poor quality and/or over cooked because it tasted dry and pretty much blah!! Again, the veggies served with the beef teriyaki is something that could be made into Kimchi! Small establishment but great food. Portions are generous. I workout a lot and usually after a tough workout, I crave ramen/noodles. Most places offer very small portions of ramen but gives you the option to "add more" during the ordering process or ask that you save some broth and order extra as you are about to finish. I did not have to order any extra noodles. The broth is tasty but not overly salty. Initially, I felt that the price of the Chicken Karagge to be a little pricey for an appetizer but it's portion is sufficient for 2-3 people. I am so glad I tried this restaurant. I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki Bento box for delivery and the portions were big and the food was very tasty. I found it to not be spicy, but all the sauces tasted so good, I didn't mind. I especially loved the egg rolls which surprised me because I love egg rolls so much, I can be critical at times. Been coming here for a while, the manager is always super cool and welcoming, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. My favorite dish was always the curry katsu. The curry sauce they use is awesome, but ive recently stopped eating meat, so I had to say farewell to that katsu. Now my go-to is the veggie yakisoba. read more

It's first time to visit this new Korean Restaurant especially to enjoy nice HOT POT Bibimbap. It is nice and excellent to enjoy freeeeesh vegetables mixed with the meat you choose (my preference is beef). The portion is really good enough than other restaurant with much competitive price!
