Even though it is a starter it is a huge portion. It was well shaped with the decoration of onions. The taste was good ; but it was a bit dry. Hakka noodles had really good quality of tender well done noodles. It was a bit bland for me. Adding sauce made them tasty. It fills stomach quickly. For dessert we had Darsaan w/ ice cream. It is sweet fried wonton with seasam spread on it. They had two scoops of ice cream on the side within the plate. There was no mix of the two. It was tasty. But it was more of two deserts next to each other rather than one. The waitress was smiling, nice ; but the service was slow. We had to get their attention. Overall a good experience for change. But not at the top class level.

The total tab was $50 which felt stiff, but the food lasted me for a few days so I guess the minimum serving is for two. Would I go back again? Not very sure. On the fence on this one. Maybe next time Indo Chinese craving takes full swing.

The skewers and wings were decent. The filling of the lettuce wrap had more liquid than expected so a little bit messy. Got their coconut martini which was pretty sweet. For mains, I got the seven-spice beef. It was mildly sweet, and since it's flank and not tenderized, so it was a little tough. Not really my cup of tea. They bring out plates of rice to share. Got chocolate mousse for dessert and it was alright. Most of the desserts were under $10 but portions are pretty small (one scoop of gelato or equivalent). Prices are those of a middle-end restaurant. I think our group averaged $70-80 per person. Maybe some of the other mains would be better.

Some of the brisket was tough and hard to chew. There was also part of an onion skin in my soup. I don't think I'll be trying this joint again.

He kept checking and the chef kept saying to just wait.... and then finally, the chef admitted he lost the order. The chef said someone must have picked it up but there was no way someone picked it up since we were staring at the window the whole time. It really was unacceptable - they did not handle the situation well - no offer of a refund and they tried to blame my friend for somehow not ordering properly or kept trying to say someone else stole it. Finally, after a big to do, they finally granted my friend the refund. It was not a fun experience at all. The vibe is good and all and it really should be a better place than it really is. I like what they were going for and I appreciate that but they need to be way better organized. The ordering terminals are too few and some are broken and the numbering system makes no sense. Please organize it better.
