The portion is bigger than I thought! We got the Rose Topokki and it was also my first time having it. It tasted similar to Buldak Carbonara (creamy, slightly tart), the only difference was it was not spicy. Soft and chewy rice cakes, 2 fried dumplings, sausages, half an egg, and some thinly sliced fried fish cake pieces. It's inside HMart Market Eatery which has their own mini water fountain. I would recommend bringing your own water bottle. Service was straightforward, however wait time was pretty longer compared to other stalls. Not sure what i was expecting, probably a creamier dish, but I don't think I'm a Rose girl. Will come back for other dishes here.

We tried the Rose Topokki for the first time and it was okay. It's creamy and not spicy - reminds me of Buldak carbonara sauce - sweet and slightly tangy. The rice cake is a bit soft to my preference. It has 2 dumpling, half an egg, some fish cake and topped with fried fish cake on top. This place is located inside Hmart Market Eatery. Wait time was a bit long on the night we came and they were not busy at that time. Not sure if it's normally slow or just that day. I'd come back to try their traditional topokki next time.

The flavors were there but on a biased point of view, I was not the biggest fan of the tiny noodle things in everything like the dumplings and blood sausage. The toppings and sauce on the rice cakes were pretty good but my group really enjoyed the meal more than I did. The other meats looked pretty good where I wish I ordered that instead

It was alright. I got the classic topokki. The rice cake was not soft enough. There were barely any toppings. The sauce is decent. The cashier who took my order was not the friendliest either. I go to this food court pretty often, I'm not sure if I'll go back to this place though.

I ordered via DoorDash so I can't speak on ambiance, but the packaging was okay! I ordered the #2 which came with topokki + Korean sausage. Everything was SO bland and the dumpling was SO soggy. I also ordered the kimichi triangle kimbap. The rice to kimichi ratio was decent!

Lots of flavor! But probably too much clients and the food took long. Busy but will try again next time! Clean!

This is the latest addition to the Hmart food court. It's a street food chain from Korea, specializing in topokki, fried items, and kimbap. We ordered: - Rose Topokki: The topokki arrived topped with two mandu, fried fish cakes, and half an egg. The sauce was creamy, slightly sweet, and perfectly spicy. The rice cakes were cooked to the perfect texture, just a little chewy. - Homemade Fried Set: We didn't really know what to expect from this, so we were delighted when a massive assortment of fried food arrived for us. The set includes fried seaweed rolls, sweet potatoes, assorted vegetables, dumplings, and imitation crab. I loved dipping the fried items into the topokki sauce! I saw some reviews complaining that it's oily, but it's a basket of fried food, what did you expect? I also ordered kimbap here when they first opened, and it was pretty standard, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're getting it to dip in the topokki sauce. I felt like I was in a Korean street food compilation video on YouTube when I was eating here. I do have to say it is quite a lot of food for 1 or 2 people, so keep that in mind when ordering. I think this would be a great option if you're coming in a large group to Hmart and want an appetizer! I only wish they served soju here too.

Counter service inside Hmart. Loud environment because of the the people inside- but on to the food- -spicy chewy noodle- lot of veggies type but the noodle were like looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack. The sauce was so strong- I literally took a few bites and dispose of it. Kimbab - could use more flavor but if you are looking for well wrapped pieces without a lot of rice, this is your place. Id tried the rice cakes before and those are pretty good.

They used package Shin Ramen for their Ramen dish. It taste like my $1.50 home cook ramen but I am paying for $15.

Part Two of my H-Mart weekend journey... My partner and I also ordered from this eatery when here as well. I love some good street food! Tteokbokki is probably the most well-known Korean street snack in Korea. You can see mini vans or carts that sell it on the street. Tteok-bokki or stir-fried rice cakes is a popular Korean food made from small-sized garae-tteok (long, white, cylinder-shaped rice cakes) called tteokmyeon. The classic preparation of tteokbokki is to boil the cylindrically shaped cakes and eat them coated in a red sauce of chile paste, fermented bean paste, soy sauce, and sugar, topped liberally with sesame seeds. Fish cakes, boiled eggs, and scallions are some of the most commonly added ingredients. It can be seasoned with either spicy gochujang (chili paste) or non-spicy ganjang (soy sauce)-based sauce; the former being the most typical form, while the latter is less common and sometimes called gungjung-tteok-bokki (royal court tteok-bokki). The tteokbokki sauce is what gives this dish taste. The texture of this dish was on point and quite chewy and soft. The sauce for this dish had a kick and notes of hot pepper flakes and paste. The portion size here was generous and more than what would be offered up at a street cart. Shrimp Kimbap Kimbap is made with cooked rice and ingredients such as meat and vegetables rolled in seaweed. This Korean dish brings together shrimp, fresh vegetables, and seasoned rice, all expertly rolled into a bite-sized treat. For those who are curious, kimbap and sushi look alike, but they are indeed different. Kimbap, a Korean dish, uses sesame oil and sometimes sugar to season its rice, and the fillings are usually cooked or pickled. Sushi, a Japanese dish, uses vinegar-seasoned rice and often features raw fish. These Kimbap were on the drier side. In general, shrimp kimbap can taste dry if it doesn't have enough sauce, which was the case here.

Counter service in HMart, I was looking for something quick and grabbed a couple Kimbaps. I wasn't a fan of the spicy bulgogi kimbap but the kimchi kimbap was good out of the two. Wrapped neatly with little rice which was nice. On the pricier side, the most I've ever spent on kimbap. The customer service was nonexistent. Like they couldn't be bothered. Just a quick transaction.

We knew about this place by accident through Uber. Last month while we were waiting for our dog at the emergency room (close to the restaurant radius), we found them on Uber so decided to check out their food and they didn't disappoint! They have the best tteokbokki in town (not sweet like other places I've tried). FOOD: Since then we have stopped by a couple times now. Everything was so delicious! So far, we have had their: 1. Cheese Topokki - delicious, their rice cakes had the perfect chew, and the sauce was not sweet like most places. 2. Rose Topokki - I recommend get their rose Topokki (YOU NEED IT!!!!) which is my favorite as it was so creamy, delicious, and with a bit of a kick! 3. Kimbap (bulgogi) - it's so delicious with so many textures & flavors, but be warned they fall apart easily. 4. Homemade fried set (L) - loved it! There were so many pieces of squid & I loved the sweet potato & Kimari (fried seaweed rolls)! 5. Triangle kimbap (bulgogi & kimchi) - they were really good (paired well with Jjampong from Narrow street 512 next door)! 6. Soondae (Korean sausage with intestines & Korean sausage only) - their Korean sausage was seasoned nicely and the casing was soft (easy to eat). I normally got Soondae from other Korean bbq place but they no longer sell it and their casing was difficult to chew anyway. This place's casing is a lot better & softer). I also liked the intestines minus livers as they were overcooked. This restaurant is located in the H Mart food court. There are plenty of seating inside the food court. The staff (or the owner I'm not sure as she's always there when we come) was friendly and completed our orders promptly. Unfortunately, their prices are pretty high for just snacks full of carbs (with barely any protein there) in my opinion. Overall, you can count on them when you crave some Korean street food! We will be coming back or stopping by to check out other items on their menu!

Food was great here! I liked the cheesy teokbokki. Sauce was no different than the usual teokbokki sauce, delicious as always. Not too spicy either. I like that there were dumplings and eggs in there as well. Tuna kimbap tasted fresh and creamy. Would love to try their bulgogi one next time. Prices were reasonable. Quick and easy to order. Located inside H-mart food court. Can be a bit crowded on weekends but I didn't have to wait long when I ordered.

We ordered the ox knee bone soup. The soup was great and had lots of meat in it! I was surprised by how many different side dishes it came with because usually food court meals come with bare minimum. I would highly recommend this place - the location is kind of hidden in comparison to the other stalls with bright signs so I can see why people end up eating the other places tha this spot.

Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. The Korean ladies who work there are super friendly and will help you make your menu selection if you have any questions. I've been a dedicated regular since 2023. Narrow Street is my go-to for my Korean food fix!

It is a quaint little place, not too big of a space so luckily they did not have a wait when we went. I give it a five star review because of the sushi. The food for me was good, not the best like not great, but it does satisfy the Korean food craving. Presentation of dishes was so nice and fun, the sushi was on fire literally. They start you off with banchan-kimchi, macaroni, onions, and fish cake. It's standard, nothing outstanding, but they do give free refills! 1. Taimatsu Roll - My favorite dish we ordered. It's saucy and has a nice play on textures because of the crispy fried bits on top. It is stuffed with a sizeable piece of tuna and has a sweet mayo sauce. It is definitely more fusion leaning rather than traditional. 2. Dak-Galbi - A spicy chicken dish with sweet potato matchstick slices and rice cakes. There could be more rice cakes and flavor. It was not spicy at all, more of that sweet savory taste you get from gochujang based dishes. The chicken was super tender and there was a good amount! 3. Beef Rib Stew - This was a warming stew with glass noodles, it is a basic soup that is salty and peppery (some may think it's bland). It comes with a bone in beef rib that is fall off the bone tender! Overall, while the food wasn't the most outstanding, I would definitely come back to try other items (namely the sushi). I would also love to try the inari tofu pockets I see online (not sure if they still have that though since I don't think I saw that on the menu). Also, their other fusion leaning dishes like the carbonara tteokbokki sounds interesting.
