Definitely one of my favorite sushi spots to go to. I love this place. Everything always comes out really well. The sushi is always excellent. The service is pretty dang good. They are always on point here and the food comes out fast, so there is literally nothing to complain about. It is also very cost effective, so you really get a great bang for your buck here. I love the environment of this place. It is never extremely busy. There is usually a table or two taken, but that is about it. There is another place I like going to down the road, but if you do not call ahead and make a reservation there is a chance you will not get in. We always end up coming over here instead, and that is not a problem for me because this place is great. If you have not been here before, definitely stop in. read more

This is my favorite sushi restaurant outside of Austin. The fish is high quality. The presentation is beautiful. The nigiri is a work of art, served with kizami (real wasabi) which is hard to find. They also serve traditional Korean dishes (bulgogi, Japchae, Bibimbap). I recommend the dinner bento box which gives a lot of bang for your buck! Bento box is plentiful, delicious, and offers variety. Japanese beer and sake available to order. The restaurant is peaceful, calming and clean. Service is always great and attentive. Solid Korean or Japanese food, especially if you come during lunch for their bento box special. Otherwise, I normally just get their dolsot bibimbap which is decent portioned. Their rolls are good too so definitely try one out if you're in the sushi mood. Service can be on the slower end because this place can get PACKED and it's quite small. I visited this place for lunch on a weekend and ordered the Kimchi Tofu Stew. It came with a generous assortment of sides, which was a nice touch. The stew arrived piping hot with a side of rice, and it was loaded with plenty of veggies and kimchi, which I appreciated. I do wish there was a spicy level that you can pick for this dish. Our group also tried a few other dishes like the Philly roll, a sushi plate, and a sushi salad. Overall, the food was good, and my sister even took some leftovers home to enjoy later in the day. Service was okay, the waiter checked with us a couple of time during our time there. The restaurant is a decent size with smaller tables near the sushi bar and larger ones along the side walls. Was craving sushi and went here with a friend! The ambiance is nice with calming music so I can actually talk to my friend. The staff were attentive and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered three rolls: Spicy Yellowtail, Sexy Lazy and Volcano. Spicy Yellowtail was my favorite followed closely by the Sexy Lazy. The yellowtail tasted yummy and the Sexy Lazy roll had a unique wasabi sauce that wasn't too spicy. The texture of that roll was interesting and I kept coming back to it! It has mango in it so that's pretty unique. If you're craving sushi, this will satisfy your craving. Pretty affordable too! read more

This was a much smaller restaurant than I had anticipated. Ambiance was a bit dated. Didn't really have the ramen feng shui we were expecting. Took a minute to be seated, but service was prompt and efficient there after. One waiter tended the entire lobby while also service as host. Ramen selections were also extremely limited. Kids tried the miso ramen, original and hot respectively. I indulged in the beef yakisoba. Ramen was very tasty and the yakisoba didn't disappoint. Lovely decor, delicious food, kind service! I was really craving some Korean food, especially Japanese Chae, so when I saw the reviews on this restaurant, I told my friend that we should try it. Although situated in a strip center, just down from a Gold's Gym, inside, the small restaurant radiates class and serenity. We were greeted by a smiling young woman and seated in a booth. Water and our menus followed. We decided to share several items. We ordered vegetable tempura, Mandu, a side salad, Jap Chae, and a tempura asparagus roll. The Mandu came out first along with the salad and small plates. My friend had to ask for a fork, but I used the provided chopsticks. The Mandu (or gyoza) were lightly fried and very, very tasty. The side salad was beautiful! Even my friend who had not wanted any salad, was amazed at the appearance and taste of this delicious side dish. It Included various kinds of greens, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and a ginger dressing. Our other dishes followed one by one. The Vegetable tempura dish was lovely. It included sweet potato, carrot, potato, zucchini, onion, and asparagus, but only one piece of each vegetable, so we had to cut them in half to share. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and the tempura batter was light and crispy. The tempura sauce was also very good. The tempura asparagus sushi roll was beautiful. And it was also incredibly tasty! My friend had never had vegetable sushi, and we both loved it. It came with the requisite wasabi and ginger slices. The dish of Jap Chae was a little underwhelming - it did not look or smell the way I'm used to seeing and smelling this dish. I did notice that the menu said it used crystal noodles, where most Korean restaurants use sweet potato noodles, so maybe that was one of the differences. It was tasty, but tasted different than any Japchae I have ever had. We ended up asking for some hot chili oil, which, when added along with some soy sauce, made the dish much tastier for me. The young lady who was serving, appeared to be the only person waiting tables. She did so with a smile on her face and a pep in her step, circling the restaurant and keeping drinks topped off while serving many different dishes to many different people. She was always kind and responsive, explaining what certain dishes were, and bringing a small side dish of kimchi when I asked to taste it. (The kimchi was more vinegary than I am used to, and not quite as spicy) Overall, it was a very delicious meal for a reasonable price, especially compared to some Japanese and Korean restaurants nearby. I would definitely eat there again, but I would probably lean more towards the Japanese food than the Korean as it seems different from most I have enjoyed in the past. read more

They were super understanding and didn't mind us coming in early. The sushi portions are perfect! Some places we have been had started to make the rolls much smaller but these are big, full, and fresh! No fishy smell in this establishment! We love all the side dishes and each dish is super tasty . The miso soup was a bit salty last time so did not enjoy it that much . This is not Korean fried chicken, so don't be confused. Also, it does NOT come with rice on the side for whatever reason. The okonomiyaki was the star here, deliciousness firing from all ends. So far the only thing I would crave from here. Above average sushi with good portions, nothing memorable though. In my opinion, a mjority of the menu is overpriced - for a $16 chicken entree, you'd expect to at least get rice on the side but they charge extra for that. OMG! Where to begin? All their foods are delicious and fresh and just amazing! My little family's new favorite, and we love to try everything on their menu. The Korean seafood pancake is our favorite. My kids love the mandoo/ dumplings. And I can't get enough of their sushi. Oh and the Soon Du Bu (spicy soft tofu stew) is worth mentioning too! And I like the naming of their sushi! Kiss me roll! Sexy lazy roll with yellowtail! Red volcano with soft shell crab and tuna. And beautifully presented, too! But, the last time we were there, there were only 2 people working on a Saturday evening. I was glad we reserved a table, but they didn't even had time to check if we were there. So there was a little 20 minute wait vs. longer...I recommend for people with kids to make a reservation. I felt bad for those who needed to work extra hard to get the evening going. To the point that when I came home, I actually considered a side job at Miso. I could sell it, just because I'm so excited about this place! Korea House off of Anderson used to be my go to for good Korean food. I used to go there frequently for years! Ever since they made a ton of big changes, their food has never been the same, and it was time for me to move on. I was left with an emptiness to fill my Korean food cravings...now I'm so glad I found Miso! Their food reminds me a lot of what "the old Korea House" used to be! We had both the beef and chicken bulgogi which were spot on. I thought their soondubu jjigae was just ok. The servers are attentive to your needs and will refill your waters and ban chan. Stumbled upon this restaurant after one of my friends recommended we try it if we were ever up in round rock and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste! My boyfriend ordered the bento box for dinner and it was such a huge portion - a really good deal for all the food you get! I ordered the tempura udon, which was also a generous serving. They packaged the side dishes neatly in Saran Wrap so no mess there. We did ask for extra bowls to use to feed our kids. VERY disappointed in this place. I've been here a few times before and enjoyed the dishes I got. But today I didn't want anything spicy so I decided to get the Miso Ramen. The description on the menu stated: Hot thin noodle, fish cake, vegetable served with soup and baked pork topping. Sounds delicious right? What I got was a sad bowl of broth, noodles, green onions, 1/2 a hard boiled egg, and one small piece of meat. I asked the waitress where the fish cakes and other vegetables were, and expressed my disbelief at such a small piece of meat. She spoke to the kitchen and then came back to tell me that they changed the recipe and it no longer comes with fish cakes or other vegetables. WHAT?! I've made instant ramen at home that's fancier than this. I'm a ramen junkie and I'm HAPPY to pay $15+ for ramen but this felt such like a rip off. The egg was hard boiled and still semi cold, and the meat was tough and flavorless. I'm not going to go out of my way to come back here.
