    Spicy Garlic Edamame
    Marlene Z.

Tasty and fresh sushi. This place is small, intimate and feels comfortable. You're able to have a conversation without having to yell. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. We started with the spicy garlic edamame. It is definitely spicy, but very delicious. I had the Alaska roll and the salmon and crab tasted fresh. Overall, this place is worth visiting and I'm looking forward to trying another roll.

Oh my goodness! This hidden gem is absolutely amazing and delicious! I don't even remember how I discovered this hidden gem but I'm so glad I did. It is located in a shopping center and you would never know it is a great place to dine whether lunch or dinner. I absolutely love everything in the menu but let me share my personal favorites. I always order the blackened tuna appetizer that is peppered sashimi style tuna with goat cheese and a delish sweet and spicy wasabi sauce . Also paired with spicy tuna hand rolls and the miss sambal roll, Kevin roll and latin roll which is fried. Service can be a little slow but the environment is super authentic and chill and the guys behind the sushi bar and very nice.

    Chirashi Sushi Combo

I came here for dinner with my girl friend on a Friday night! I had called earlier in the day to ask if I needed a reservation and the staff recommended to -- it was quick and easy to do. I'm glad I called because shortly after we were seated (~6:30pm), the restaurant started getting busy. My metric to test a restaurant's sushi is always to order their chirashi bowl if they offer it, and the chirashi at Osaka Mansun did not disappoint! The portion size is massive - the cuts of nigiri are thick and the chef gave me a great variety. Everything tasted fresh and the garnishes were lovely. I especially appreciate the inclusion of perilla leaf. I ordered another chirashi bowl to-go for my boyfriend and he loved it too! I'll definitely be taking him here in the future.

Calamari - good but overpriced $11.95
    Diana N.

Fried Calamari $11.95- kind of pricey for 7 pieces that looked like onion rings. Beef Broth Soup (Sul Loung Tang) $14.95- [Beef broth soup made from beef bones and stewing meat] - I think this is what I ordered for my 9 year old nephew. (Waitress recommended this because they don't have beef udon. My nephew wanted something beef noodle soup). Didn't expect a big bone in it, but surprisingly a large portion. Beef was pretty tender and tasty. He liked the beef but didn't care for the clear noodles. Sake Toro (salmon belly) nigiri $7.95 for 2 - good Hamachi (Yellowtail) Nigiri $7.50 for 2 - good SUSHI ROLLS: My favorites were Ken's Roll and Magu Roll. Listed in order of preference: Ken's Roll $15.95 - [Salmon, tuna, mango, avocado, green onion wrapped with soybean paper] Our favorite. Unique with the soybean paper. Slightly sweet from the mango and sauce. Magu Roll $11.95 - [Tuna delight, avocado, and cucumber with tempura flakes and sweet sauce on top] Very good, enjoyed the tempura flakes and sweet sauce on top. This was a good loaded, unhealthy roll, yum! Mother & Daughter $16.95 - [Salmon and avocado with salmon and salmon egg (ikura) on top] Very simple but very good. Comes w/ spicy Japanese mayo, which we asked for on the side since my 6 year old nephew wanted this roll. Amazing roll $14.95 - [Spicy tuna, cucumber with fresh salmon and tuna] Spicy tuna was actually a tad spicy. Typical, would try something else next time. Philadelphia roll $11.95- [Smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado] Your standard philly roll, would try something else next time. --------------- Pros: Tasty food, plenty of parking in the open lot. Cons: Kind of pricey ($12 for a Philly roll?), dimly lit inside, food took awhile even though it wasn't busy on a Saturday evening.

What a little gem!!! The sushi was so fresh and delicious. Small but great ambiance. There wasn't anything that wasn't delicious. They were very accommodating for any changes we wanted to make. Wine and beer available. We'll be back!

Fresh food and good service. Their pricing is fair and they haven't made much changed over the past few years. Only complain is that service can be slow as they have only one server.

This place is a hidden gem! We went for my boyfriend's birthday today, and they don't take reservations but the staff was so nice to help us secure a table after knowing it's for birthday celebration! There were not many people dining in because it's Tuesday, but clearly there are transparent plastic shields between tables to make it safe. The food was really delicious. We actually got lost with so many items on the menu, and it was really hard to choose with such variety including both Korean and Japanese. The tuna tower and wagyu were really tasty and the portion size were quite reasonable. We also had veggie tempura and they were so crispy and fresh! We wanted to have some sashimi but didn't want any rolls, so we ordered chirashi and the seafood all tasted fresh! Overall we were really impressed by this place and can't wait to try their Korean entrees next time!

I ordered the chefs' choice of 9 pieces of sashimi and 5 nigiri sushi. Overall the presentation is good and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. The fish was so-so, a few pieces weren't as fresh as My expectations, but were in no way unfresh. A pretty decent sushi joint.

    (Left)Dragon Roll & (right) Choo-Choo Roll
    Meghan C.

My husband and I have been driving by this place for years and we finally decided to try it. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, I also love the intimate setting, it's perfect for date night. Their miso soup is so rich in flavor and the sushi rolls were amazing. I'm not a huge fan of feta but the Choo-Choo roll is an exception. The wasabi honey sauce that is drizzled on it makes it absolute perfection for a sweet and spicy kick! So happy we tried this place.

It's located inside what I think is a mini golf place (or some kind of entertainment venue haha), and the restaurant itself is hidden behind a bookshelf like a speakeasy. I had never heard of the place before, but I thought the whole concept was SO cool. The omakase itself is incredibly intimate with only a handful of seats, which makes the entire experience feel really personal. Chef and his small team are all so warm and welcoming, and one of my favorite parts was that they actually encourage everyone to get to know each other throughout the meal. It ended up feeling like one big group dinner rather than everyone quietly eating their own meal. My friend and I were even watching the Super Bowl with everyone during our seating, which made the night even more fun! The fish was, of course, phenomenal. Every piece was prepared with so much care and precision, and you could really tell how passionate Chef is about his craft. I'd say the menu falls somewhere in the middle between a super traditional Edomae omakase and a more modern, creative one, which I personally loved. Everything felt incredibly thoughtful without being overly experimental. I also have to give a shoutout to their cocktail program because every drink we had was AMAZING! I don't even think there's a traditional drink menu. Instead, their bartender just asked each of us what kinds of flavors we usually like and created custom cocktails based on our preferences. Every single drink she made for my friends and me was SO good and paired perfectly with the meal. One thing to keep in mind is that each seating is pretty long--we were there for close to three hours! It definitely felt like an experience rather than just dinner, but honestly, the time flew by because everyone was chatting, eating, and having such a great time. It is definitely on the expensive side, but for the quality of the fish, the hospitality, and the overall experience, I thought it was absolutely worth it. One of my favorite little details was that the room is filled with Chef's personal belongings, books, and little collectibles, which makes the space feel so cozy and lived in. He genuinely welcomes guests to ask him about anything in the room, and you can tell he's just such a well-rounded and passionate person. More than anything, this was just such a FUN omakase experience!! If you're looking for something that's intimate, interactive, and a little different from your typical omakase, I can't recommend Toshokan enough!

There are 6 seats. My boyfriend and I had such a fun, personal experience. The staff were incredible--warm, engaging, and genuinely excited to guide us through each course. The food itself was delicious, beautifully crafted, and felt customized in a way that made the night feel unique to us. It's the kind of omakase that doesn't take itself too seriously while still delivering seriously good dishes. I also highly recommend the sake and cocktail pairing. The bartender customizes it based on your preferences. I told her my favorite drink is an espresso martini and she made this really fun espresso, strawberry latte concoction. There is also a special house sake with an homage to the owner's cat. I love those personal details. It's always a great time at Toshokan, and I'll definitely be back again. PS it's a great place to celebrate your birthday or special occasion! They broke out a guitar to serenade me lol

The Robot Ramen was light, yet rich, the meat was succulent (and not too thin, at the risk of being dry) and the noodles were al dente--both were cooked nicely. The way they presented the sauces made it slightly hard to dip your roll in it, but would still order again. My friends loved the transformer roll. Yuka-tekkan was a let down for me, just not very flavorful. Overall, would definitely come back for some rolls and the happy hour! There is better sushi on s congress but I still think this is a solid choice. Inside has really cool decor and would be a good place to bring someone to impress a date.

My favorite maki rolls are the scallop chirashi and the A5, but the scallop maki is the one I crave most--it's so good. Their lychee martini is also delicious and not overly sweet. The Kyoto Blush, on the other hand, was far too sweet for me, so I wouldn't order that one again. I've tried a few other dishes as well. The wagyu sando wasn't quite what I expected, since the meat had more of a patty-like texture that I didn't think paired especially well with the milk bread. The wagyu donburi had a nice layer of crispy rice at the bottom after mixing, but there were too many sour and pickled components, which threw off the balance of the dish a little. Overall, Tenten is a solid spot, especially once you know which menu items you like. Service can be a bit hit or miss, but nothing bad enough to keep me from coming back.
