No. But - they're scrupulously honest and do quality work that they stand behind 100%. We've had them tell us that something another shop told us needed to be fixed actually didn't and found the problem to be something small and inexpensive. Bottom line? I trust them. If they tell me it needs to be fixed, we get it fixed. I'd recommend them to anyone!

But I finally decided to share my experience because I think it's important to warn future customers, especially those who don't have a lot of extra money to spare. The good: There's a shuttle service for customers, which is convenient. The driver was very cheerful and interested in having conversations with customers, which made the ride interesting. The staff members were polite, and the lobby has free coffee for customers. The terrible: I chose this place for my car inspection because of the positive ratings on Yelp and Google. But alas, the mechanic who inspected my car quoted me $1k+ for a part that was actually in perfect condition and failed my inspection. When I asked where the leak was, the rep said the part was shiny, and that indicated a leak. A few days later, a family member who is a mechanic inspected the part and confirmed that it was, in fact, in perfect condition. So he took my car back to this place for a re-inspection. When questioned, the reps couldn't point out a single leak on that part, and they passed him. Folks, please be careful, especially if you're a woman or someone who doesn't know much about cars. Based on my experience, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. My advice: Question every part they claim has failed, leaked, or broken. Heck, ask them to walk you over and show you exactly where the part has "failed." If you're familiar with car mechanics and have the tools, inspect your car thoroughly beforehand so you know the condition of your car before handing it over for an inspection. And if you don't know much about cars, bring a friend or family member who does. Having someone knowledgeable with you can help you ask questions and better understand what the mechanic is telling you. I'm honestly very disappointed with BA Auto. I went in expecting an honest inspection, and this experience left me questioning their integrity. I'm finally posting this after almost 3 years because I hope it helps someone else avoid a similar experience.

We got our extremely surprising estimates(because they were way lower than we expected). A new fender from estimate, to part acquisition and installation was less than a week. And we were still driving the car(free advice on how to tape it for a temporary repair). We took that vehicle in on a Monday and had it back on Tuesday. It looked great. The reattach of the fender of the other car took 4 hours. The care was spectacular. The process was easy. Price was reasonable. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable and competent. We have found our forever body shop.

Since my insurance allowance for rental car was expiring, I insisted on seeing the actual status. Nothing was done. I've asked the owner to provide an appropriate statement for my insurance. He asked all his staff to leave the office so he can be one-on-one with me then literally threatened me using his obscene vocabulary if I won't leave immediately. I needed a new radio console installed along with routine oil change, differential fluid, tire…read morerotation, etc. at the dealership for our 2015 Subaru Outback. AutoNation Subaru promised 2 days but it turned out they hadn't ordered the radio and it would take 7-10 business days, so--for the first time ever--we took it to Kevin at API for the routine stuff and would take it back to AutoNation for the radio another time. We dropped it off June 23 and would pick it up June 29 (which we did.) Drove it home (~5 miles) and it sat until Tuesday at 4:30 a.m. when my wife went to work. The car started shimmying and a burning smell and grinding sound came out from under the hood. She pulled over as the car lost power and the car wouldn't stop rolling in Park; used emergency brake and towed it back to API that morning (June 30). Kevin diagnosed the outback needed a new transmission but denied any culpability, saying instead this is a dealership problem and try to con them into extending the warranty. Towed it to Catonsville Subaru and we have their video diagnostic and written report stating the differential assembly was empty of fluid and the transmission was filled with differential fluid. It cost almost $20K to repair the damage and Kevin and API (with his son and daughter) refuse to respond. I hate to spend $10K to recover $20K but they are leaving us no choice. I've mailed hardcopies, sent email requesting "read receipts (APISOUTH@YAHOO.com) but they immediately delete them without reading. API has their folksy "aw shucks, I'm just one o' ya'll" routine down pat but it's shadier than Trump bitcoin. I recommend avoiding this place like the plague.

I had an emergency with my car where I had to pull over and get it towed, and I saw they were just around the corner from where I parked my car. I reached out to several mechanics in the area but it was Labor Day and I know most were out of office. However Xdealertechs responded very quickly and were also the first ones to reply to my inquiry, and they let me know I could tow my car over whenever I needed. They were transparent in letting me know they had a busy week ahead so my car might be ready by end of week, but I wfh and was completely okay with it. Once they received my car, they were upfront and kindly explained what the issues were and how they occurred and then sent me a complete guaranteed quote of the entire service for me to review. Once I accepted the quote, they were right on it. True to their word, my car was ready within the week and my mom went on my behalf to pick it up for me while I was working. I was honestly so surprised at how they were able to service my car well within the timeframe they provided me. Their price is fair and I appreciated their transparency and high level of service, all without even meeting me! They were so great and easy to work with, I will definitely be reaching back out for any future auto care and also referred them to my entire family if they ever need a mechanic. Thank you so much!!

I called on a Saturday to ask for updates and the manager Herzel answered, and told me that the car was just coming out of paint and he'd send a picture of it. I was completely shocked to see the side that got hit looked completely new!
