The dents were hood dents, a crease in the passenger door, and a small dent by the right front turn signal - none were any worse than the photos on the website. So the guy "Arslan" shows up to do the repair. No introduction as to who he was or company he worked for. No uniform or anything. He says hello I already saw the dent on your car. He asked me to roll my power windows down. I see him take a hammer and nail out to get ready to hit on the dented area. I said "OMG". He immediately stops performing the work packs his tools up and leaves. I asked him what was he doing. He says I need you to have confidence in the work I am performing. Feeling a little baffled I asked what do you mean....so I can't watch or ask questions. Of course anyone seeing a person about to hit their car with a hammer and the pointed end of a nail against the paint of the car will be alarmed and ask questions. I told him he can finish the work at least 3 times it just caught me off gaurd. He still packed up and left. He refused to perform the work because I asked questions apparently. A consumer should be allowed to ask questions about a repair that is being performed on their car! This is highly unacceptable! Also, who would just give the fob to him a pure stranger and leave it with him. He wanted me to leave my key with him and come back basically. This is 2021 who does that sir, we in a random parking lot with "you" a pure stranger. Update: Apparently, after he read my review he immediately calls my cellphone back. This is very concerning behavior. I wish I saw David's review below from 10 months ago. No unkind words were exchanged, however, his behavior was indicative of someone whom does not like to be questioned. It's latent to address my review with how your work is performed as you were very passive aggressive during the interaction in person. And your demeanor made me cringe. If you wished to save the transaction you would have answered my queries at that time. Again, any consumer has the right to ask questions about work being performed before said service. My coworker dinged my car, I reached out to various PDR places and only two responded. The first guy that came wasn't sure he'd be able to fix it and suggested I get a quote at a body shop. He used to paint Tesla's and said it would be at least 2 grand if I went that route. He said I could still pay him to try and fix it but he'd have to go though my window and because it's double pane it may break. I opted not to try. I had already scheduled my appointment with ARS but was worried because of the first company I had look at it. My worries we're pointless because Arslan did an absolute phenomenal job. He came and left in under an hour. He didn't seem worried at all and seemed 100% confident. He asked me if I had any questions and I asked if he would have to drill for access. He said if he needed to he would let me know. I handed him my key and went inside. He texted me under a hour later saying he was done. Received a quote and service appointment. They waited a week and (30 minutes before my appointment) to call and tell me they would need to damage (drill into) my car to fix the dent (and suggest I take it to a shop). Edit: His abilities aside, his fairly petty, immature, and completely oblivious response should be all the indication you may need to his ability to run a business and what it will be like to work with his services. Edit: In response to the complete rewrite of his response to remove the petty and immature content (again major indication of who you're working with). He has tried to have my review removed as a "conflict of interest". On top of that, yes I ended our conversation after he explained he would need to drill into my car and suggested I take the car to a shop (not for a second opinion but as he stated he is "only mobile") ***30 minutes before our appointment that I setup a week before and after he has reviewed the damage in pictures and provided a quote***. There is no excuse for someone that claims to be skilled and experienced to waste the time of their customers (potential or otherwise) and be this utterly tone deaf. Best of luck to this company/individual and anyone who decides to use their services, I imagine you'll need it. Edit: One last thing to clarify, I did not get as angry as he implies. I indeed was annoyed but I agreed and said I would take the car to a shop and hung up. Also, nowhere was it ever mentioned he didn't support the Frederick, MD area. Even his Yelp profile encompasses that area. So I ask any potential customer reading this: do you really want to risk doing business with someone (and having them work on something as expensive as a vehicle) that is so clearly insecure and defensive? What do you think is going to happen if/when they make a mistake? I would never recommend someone such as this purely from them waiting until the last minute to give necessary information. I made an appointment with him to come out to fix a small dent on one of my doors and the day before he was scheduled to come, I backed into a rail and dented my bumper. When he came to fix the dent on my door, I asked him to take a look at my bumper and said he was able to fix it that day.
