I wish I would've read the reviews before I would've accepted their services because not only do they deserve the low ratings they have, but they also deserve negative stars as well! -100/10 for services! The person that you communicate with over the phone for the number provided on their brochure is one of the rudest people I've ever met. Extremely condescending and narcissistic. Not only is he a scammer, but also a racist misogynist as well. He was not only dismissive of our concerns but continued to talk over us, invalidate our opinions about what we decided to do with the car, and completely disrespected us after we asked him to tow the car back to their initial location after he informed us it was at their overflow location, so we could pay him for his services and go about our separate ways. He began to make up lies about my accident, claiming that "I crashed into multiple cars and that information was in his notes" when he wasn't even onsite at the accident and I had never spoken with him until the day after my car was towed. He was mad because my dad asked for a discount and after he refused, continuing to make further berating comments, my father decided to fix the car with our own mechanic and he got upset and said "we could call him back in an hour and he'll have our bill ready but also we can do whatever we want to do". So we believed that when we paid him we'd get the car back but he said "he's not gonna tow the car today, he'll tow it tomorrow " but had us waiting at their location for hours just to not answer the phone when I called him back continuously after an hour, which was the time he gave. No one else at the company was this nasty but him. The two men we spoke to that were onsite both days we came and the one that towed my car were all very respectful! He was the only one that made the experience completely horrible, but also went out of his way to make discriminatory comments, saying "I know you guys are African so you think you're Gods above all other races" speaking of us (me, my father, and the police officer onsite) which was not only false, but a completely unnecessary and disgusting comment to make. He told us that the payment to retrieve the car was around $600 the first day we went 10/02/2025 (then when we met him in person he was saying that's the amount they paid someone else), and when we saw him today the number he texted me said that the total to retrieve my car was now $1100. It hadn't even been up to 24 hours since the accident and it was there for one night. We were willing to pay the initial charge he gave and he refused to tow the car that day, claiming he would have it towed the next day. The second day we came, which was today, he changed the price to $500 more and STILL didn't give us the car (even after he tried forcing us to get cash and we drove to the closest ATM to get his money upon his refusal to accept check or card payments even though their front door says they accept multiple kinds of cards, debit and all of that, then when we return to the location he proceeded to say "the business day is closed and they can't release the car to us") even after he already agreed to give us the car THAT day when we paid. We waited there for hours for him to bring the car, only to find out just when we were about to leave that he was inside the venue the entire time pretending to be two different people (the original rude boy we spoke to over the phone and this "new personality named Kai" who was "communicating with the other guy". That man is extremely impolite, prejudiced, and childish. I want everyone who is reading this to know that if you are thinking of doing business with these people they WILL scam you! Do not sign any documents or even think about giving them your time of day. You're better off towing your car yourself or doing business with any other company. That guy is an asshole and should not be allowed to do business with anyone else!

I wish I could give this place negative stars. Do NOT take your car to this shady shop! TLDR: Terrible communication with me and my insurance, repairs dragged on with almost no explanation, the work is sloppy, and they only accept Zelle as payment. I dropped my car off at this shop in early July and didn't get it back until the end of August. The entire experience was a nightmare, and I honestly don't understand how they have any 5-star reviews. When I was first inquiring about repairs, they were extremely responsive--but that ended the moment they had my car. I didn't hear from them for a week and a half, so I reached out. Only then did they tell me no work had started because they were "waiting for an adjuster" and supposedly didn't have the contact information. Why they never reached out to me for that information is beyond me--and this became a recurring problem. The burden was always on me to chase them down. From there, it was weeks of unanswered calls and texts, to the point where I had to physically show up just to get a status update. When the bodywork was finally done, it still took them nearly two more weeks just to finish painting, blaming a "backlog." The interaction with my insurance was also very sketchy. I was told an adjuster had a scheduled visit because my original estimate needed to be updated. I never received an updated estimate for this change, so I contacted my adjuster directly. He told me no adjuster had ever visited the shop, meaning they went ahead with repairs before insurance even signed off. Then came the nightmare of trying to pick up my car. I was told it would be ready a week earlier than it actually was, but there was a delay because they had the wrong lightbulb. Once I finally got someone on the phone, I was told I could pick it up after the correct lightbulb was delivered and installed. I never received a call to confirm, so I had to keep reaching out myself. They sent me a tracking link for the delivery of the replacement, and when I messaged them the day it arrived, I got no response. The following day I called three times and sent multiple messages with no reply. Out of frustration, I went to the shop in person. When I got there, the employees casually said, "Yeah, your car's ready once we receive payment." The only form of payment they would accept was Zelle--which already felt sketchy--but at that point I just wanted my car back. I paid, and then it took them 15 minutes to locate my keys. During that time, they repeatedly asked me to leave a 5-star review, which honestly felt like coercion while they were looking for finding my keys. To make matters worse, a sheriff showed up during that time because the shop was illegally parking cars on the street. When I finally got my car home and looked more closely at the repairs, I was even more disappointed. The quality was really sloppy: * The trunk nameplates were never put back. * The rear windshield wiper cap was missing. * There's a crack inside the trunk body. * The trunk isn't fully attached at the top. * The gasket wasn't installed correctly. * My backup camera is now partially blocked, likely because the trunk wasn't installed properly. * The paint job around the edges of the trunk is messy. * There's a scrape with peeling paint on the side of the car that wasn't there before (probably from the street parking). * My wheel has paint or debris on it. * And the car was returned to me filthy. Overall, I am extremely unhappy with this shop and the entire experience. It was stressful, unprofessional, and the repairs were poor quality. I will be pursuing options through insurance because I refuse to bring my car back here. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Car accident in Thursday

Best customer service and they are really helpful Thursday I had accident soon I call them they were there to help me out

Do not take your car to Baltimore Collision. I wish I could give zero stars. This place is unprofessional, dishonest, misogynistic, and manipulative. They wasted my time, gaslit me repeatedly, and treated me like I was stupid for asking basic questions. Here's what they did: Insisted my car was totaled and acted like I was hysterical and dumb for being confused and upset. Plot twist: It (thankfully) wasn't even close to being totaled. Asked if I had a boyfriend to help me understand the process -- because apparently, as a woman, I'm too dumb to follow basic information about my own car. When I said my dad usually helps but he's in the hospital, they promised to guide me through this process as a courtesy. In hindsight, I think they saw my family crisis as an opportunity to take advantage because they figured I didn't have anyone in my corner. My insurance adjuster had to chase them down for days just to do a basic inspection because they're never there. Promised my car would be ready Monday. It wasn't ready until Thursday -- and even then, it wasn't actually ready. When I arrived, they made me wait an additional hour and change while they waited for the manager to get me a breakdown of repairs and finished the work on the spot. Told me to pick up my car at 10am, then changed it to 11am while I was en route, then 2pm and then refused to communicate with me or anyone else who called, including my adjuster, about when I could pick it up. I had to get police involved to get a clear answer on when I could pick up my car. Claimed they were doing "extra repairs" out of kindness, then admitted they planned to bill GEICO. GEICO confirmed they never submitted those repairs, so they were never done. Refused to provide an invoice or itemized list of repairs, despite repeated requests. I finally got it after waiting there for over an hour, but apparently it wasn't even accurate. It gets worse: When I finally was able to pick up my car after having to involve the police, the police had to come again for another customer having issues. When I got the car back: The bumper looked horrible. The work they did was sloppy and visibly botched. Even my stingy insurance, which never wants to pay for anything, agreed to cover getting it redone somewhere else. My passenger-side window, which worked perfectly before, no longer worked after they worked on that side's door. I brought it back to them, they couldn't fix it. Now I'm paying $400 out of pocket to fix a window that wasn't broken when I brought the car in. Oh, and at the end of all this, they tried to bribe me with free interior work if I left them two 5-star reviews. They were rude, condescending, and evasive from day one. This is a shop that punishes you for asking questions, talks down to you, and then disappears when you hold them accountable. Do not expect basic respect or transparency here, especially if you're a woman walking in without a man. I've never experienced such blatant disregard, gaslighting, and disorganization from a business. Save yourself the time, stress, and disrespect. Go anywhere else.

If you're reading this it's probably too late for you…read more By now, you may have realized Mark's Auto Body is not a place for regular, working-class people or regular (economy) cars. First, they kept telling me about alternate parts and that they couldn't use alternate parts if I wanted a certified Chevy repair. My ninja, this is a Chevy Cruze, not a Lambo, just make it run so I can reach my full-time job, attend my full-time graduate education, and run my part-time business. I couldn't care less what parts you use. But he just basically said if they didn't use the parts that cost more, they wouldn't be able to stand by their work (no warranty). Not a good look.... But secondly, when you try to say the damages are over $8k for a car only worth $9.5k (2011 Chevy Cruze) instead of totaling the car out... That's what you call a vulture and is mainly the reason why I believe Mark's Auto Body needs to take several seats. Shame on Autonation Chevy (now Ourisman Chevy) for referring me to them when I asked them for a Chevy dealership. Mark's Auto can respond to this review any way they desire, but pictures don't lie. Attached is a photo of my estimate from Mark's Auto (they call it a blueprint) vs a KBB private party valuation. Again, over $8k for a $9.5k (maybe) car. Instead of being honest and totaling it out to begin with, they wanted to go ahead on with the repair. Then they told me multiple times that I would be responsible for paying whatever the at-faults insurance company didn't pay. Yes, I got nervous and scared. I pleaded with them. I told them I'm in school and I work, and I don't have enough money to pay the difference (it was 2k after one adjustment). Especially because the accident wasn't my fault! They were NOT having it, lol. I said OK I don't want my car to be here anymore. Then, I was told it would be hundreds of dollars for them to remove my car from their shop. Also, at this point, I'm looking on Yelp and seeing reviews from people just like me. Lol, I don't know how their google listing rating is so high? Anyway, I called my insurance company, who declared total loss RIGHT AWAY. Both insurance companies (both at-fault's and mine) had nothing but negative things to say about Mark's Auto body practices. Greed, it's all greed. In the end, I didn't have to pay anything and I was relieved to have Nationwide swoop in and rescue me because I promise you these people over at Mark's are like robots with no emotion. Especially, Jason, he is rude when you ask probing questions to get the answers you need. You should probably only come here if you are rich and really, really LOVE your flashy, expensive car. If you have a regular, schmegular economy or commuter car, do NOT come here because they will try to rip you off. Like I said, pictures don't lie.

I wish there was a negative star button because I would give -5. Heritage Body Shop is one of the…read moremost unprofessional businesses I have ever dealt with. I received a voicemail from one of their employees cursing at me and calling me out of my name--completely unacceptable behavior under any circumstances. To make matters worse, they lied and claimed they had been sending me emails that I "ignored," which was not true. They had the wrong email address on file, yet somehow tried to blame me for their own mistake. As a government employee I expect a basic level of professionalism and accountability--neither of which this place has. When I reported the abusive voicemail to the office manager, she flat-out lied and said her employee did not curse me out and insult me . I then played the voicemail for her, and she heard every single curse word and insult herself. Instead of apologizing or addressing it, she stood there in silence, completely ignored the behavior, and skipped right over it to focus only on her concerns. No accountability. No professionalism. No respect. This shop clearly tolerates and defends disgusting behavior from its staff. If you value basic decency, honesty, or being treated like a human being, do not bring your business here. Heritage Body Shop has shown exactly who they are, and it is ugly.

I brought my Toyota Camry to Heritage Toyota in Owings Mills, Maryland at the end of November for…read morewhat I thought would be a straightforward repair of the fender and wheel. The headlight was intact but just needed realignment due to damaged internal brackets. Heritage initially provided an estimate of $3,365.62, which my insurance company covered. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Later, I was informed that they were short $500-600 and expected me to cover the difference. When I refused and tried to get my car back, they told me I'd be charged for storage and transportation to their city facility in Baltimore, and that my car was already disassembled. It was a helpless feeling, knowing my car was held hostage, with mounting charges I never agreed to. Weeks passed, and I learned the repair costs had ballooned. I was told the parts would only be available aftermarket unless I paid an additional $1,100 for genuine Toyota parts and an extra $1,200 to fix the rear bumper, which was damaged at the dealership. I reluctantly agreed to these terms. After extensive discussions, my insurance covered an additional $3,796 to fix everything, including the bumper and OEM parts. However, the total repair costs escalated to $7,162, with my insurance eventually covering the additional expenses after numerous discussions. During this time, my insurance also canceled my rental coverage due to Heritage claiming they weren't working on my car. Two weeks later, I received a call stating my car was nearly ready, but they needed yet another $1,100 for genuine parts installation and $1,200 for the rear bumper, on top of the $7,162 already incurred. This brings the total to nearly $10,000 for repairs on a car that might not even be worth that much! I felt completely overwhelmed and betrayed. To add to the frustration, my car ended up at Heritage Body Shop in Baltimore without my consent. I urge others in Maryland to avoid Heritage of Baltimore body shop or repair facility. Please protect your rights and contact the Maryland Attorney General's Office, Consumer Protection Division. Their actions are a clear pattern of deception and extortion that should be investigated by the FBI for fraudulent insurance charges. If anyone else in Maryland has been through a similar ordeal with Heritage, please reach out at strnnk@yahoo.com . We can stand together and explore filing a collective lawsuit against them. Your support could prevent this from happening to others in our state.
