Overall great experience with them. I was able to email to set up a date and time to bring my vehicle in. I used their night owl drop off program and just dropped it off the night prior. They open at 9am and got my diagnostic to me by around noon/lunch time. I agree that the pricing made sense and worked for me and they ordered the part immediately. By 2pm the next day, I got the text that my vehicle was ready. Will continue to do business with them. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and informative! read more

This has been my go to place for auto repair for at least 10 years. In the past it has always been great but I don't know what happened this time except they have moved to a new location. I had a 9am appointment to get an oil an filter change. I arrived on time and left my car there for the service. I called later in the day to find out when it would be ready but no response or call back. Decided to go see for myself at around 3:30. They have a strange location. In order to get to the office and waiting room you have to climb up a hill of wobbly wooden steps. when I went back to check I went to the back of the building where the shop is, my car was not ready. I went to the edge of the garage to get the status and was told I have to go to the front office which meant climbing the hill again. That is a physical problem for me. The owner came to the shop and was very nasty to me. He told me to get out of the building and that he would not do any work on my car ever. What a very unprofessional way to run a business. He won't be seeing me again. read more

response to the owner response of my review: I didn't trespass anywhere and didn't yell at anyone.....you wouldn't know that as you only had your employee's input into the situation.....no one was in the office and I simply opened the door to speak with someone.....you need to hire an admin person or have someone at all times present to speak to customers.....be it over the phone or in person.....that is the chief complaint I have of your firm.....and I was treated poorly as a customer as you never once asked ME what happened......truth is, you need help running your business.....and if there is no one present to deal with customers when they walk in OR call, you will fail as people want to deal with professionals in every aspect of the business. I had decent service for a number of years.....and actually had a pleasant exchange with you at the last time I visited your place of business.....with the exception of those things, service and communication has been going downhill for almost 2 years.....and I am grateful I won't have to deal with your company any longer. read more

Jeff was lovely to work with - very professional, timely, and most importantly - honest and transparent with us. We had an AC replacement completed and prices were very reasonable. The team also gave us a very helpful explanation and diagnosis of another issue the car is having. What is additionally appreciated is that during COVID, XDealerTechs had a system that allowed us to complete the transaction without face to face interaction (through lockboxes and mailbox drops). Nope, not a place I will ever do business with. I called yesterday to set up an appointment. We agreed on Friday and the guy asks me, "what time do you want to bring it in?" I tell him 8am would be perfect and his reply: Let's do 8:30 so I can get you right in, without you having to wait. That was fine with me. So I showed up late, at 8:40 this morning, to a nice big sign that day "CLOSED". Why would you tell me to show up at 8:30 and your shop doesn't open until 9am? But, trying to give these guys the benefit of the doubt, I stuck around until 9am and they were still closed at 9. Completely unprofessional. Luckily, there are plenty of other places to take my car for service in the area. I'm not sure how these guys have such a high rating when they don't even open at the times they advertise. I don't ever write reviews, but felt the need to do this one. I have been a customer of XDealerTechs since 2015 and in that time, I've had taken two vehicles to them for service...my 2012 Lexus IS350 and my wife's 2014 Lexus IS350. I first came across them when I had a loose parking brake issue on my car. The Lexus dealership wanted $150 to fix it. Jeff did it for $50. I also went to them back in 2019 for the 60K mile service, which for my car involves replacing the spark plugs. The dealerships around the area wanted DOUBLE to TRIPLE what XDealerTechs charged for the same work. Recently, I took my wife's car in for the 60K service and a battery replacement. They had replaced the brake rotors/pads and flushed the brake fluid about seven months ago. Jeff said because of this, he didn't flush the brake fluid and discounted the total service by $140. If I had taken it to the dealership, they absolutely would have charged me for something I didn't need it. This is why XDealerTechs will continue to receive my business. You will not find mechanics more honest than Jeff and Chris and their team. I drive 1 hour each way from Virginia to here because I absolutely trust them to work on my car and know I won't get ripped off. If you have a Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, or other make they work on, take it to XDealerTechs instead of the stealership. read more

My first time dealing with X-DEALER TECHS. The night drop-off and pickup went smoothly. The main issue with my 2002 Lexus RX300 was hesitation when accelerating. So relieved the problem was solved and no longer an issue. Smaller issues were diagnosed and an estimate was provided prior to servicing. I had the opportunity to discuss each issue and even added more! Jeff was extremely patient and answered all of my questions. He even gave me advice and a referral for possible future services their shop doesn't provide. I feel pricing and service time was reasonable. I went their On Wednesday for 10k miles oil change they did a great job and suggested me for brake pads replacement in about 5-6k miles no sales technic or being pushy. Which most repair shops are nowadays! The 2nd day I drove my car after oil change and I saw a low oil light is on in my display, I called them they apologizing for the inconvenience and asked me to bring the car anytime without an appointment, I took my car an hour later they took a look and Added 1/2 a Q Oil and the owner returned me $20 bill as courtesy for being inconvenience, I really didn't expect any money or anything, But just act of this great customer service was very outstanding, Nowadays It's very rare to see this kinda customer service, I def recommend them and that's why they have 5 stars on Yelp! read more

This is a new shop that is specializing in cars that others are afraid of, or that you cannot afford to care for out of warranty at the dealer. Their list is Mercedes, Lexus, Acura, and others. As the name implies they recently left dealerships and have started their own shop. The shop is recently remodeled and is very good sized. They seem to have a bid investment in the latest technology to get the work done right. I was directed to them by Mr. Tire who was afraid of touching my Mercedes for even the simplest of tasks...you know what I'm saying. Met the front guy and he took the car for a drive with me to see what was happening. They pulled it in to the rack while I waited to make a diagnosis. Bottomline, I did not pick up any distrust that these guys were not ready willing and able to help and to do so with full disclosure and honesty. Since they don't have many years of operation under their belt, they seem to be more worried about paying their rent then killing me for their profit. Because of their new operations, up to date shop and knowledge base, I highly recommend you stop in to see what they can do for you. It may be a refreshing change of pace from what you normally have to go through with a high end car. read more

I had a wonderful experience at a car repair/maintenance place! I know, gasp!! I brought my 2010 Subaru outback here to have a rattling noise checked out. (I must note that I was at the Subaru dealership less than 2 months prior to get this checked out. I was told that I needed new tires so they wouldn't work on it until then). Chris took my car for a test drive. I had a great conversation with his co-owner (Jeff). After putting my car up and taking off the tires Chris found the issue right away. We discussed my options and costs. They gave me a quote. They listened to what I could afford and shopped around to get me the best deal! I am in the process of trading this car in, so I opted to not get the repair. I was pleasantly surprised when they didn't charge me for my visit! I plan on coming back here again. I was a little nervous that they wouldn't take me in since I have a Subaru, but they did with no issues. Great customer service. I would and will recommend them to friends :-). read more

First of all, I must say that these guys are experts and know their stuff. I have a 2004 mercedes e320 which had a rattling noise under my driver front end for almost a year which was getting progressively worse. I took it to several mechanics and even the dealership. Changed part after part and they could never fix the issue. I just happened to see this website on yelp and noticed all the high recommendations, so decided to give them a try. They were courteous, and fit me right in to take a look at the car. They diagnosed the problem within a few hours, showed me the issue and gave me a fair price to fix. What a wonderful feeling when I got the car back and rattling noise was gone! No other mechanic, not even the dealership could diagnose it right and these guys got it right the first time! My rating would be based upon this guy - Chris who handles the front desk. I called a couple of days earlier to inquire and got into the shop first thing Monday morning at 8:30 am as a walk-in customer. They didn't open until 9:00 am but Chris showed up late (around 9:20 am). I was the first in line waiting. After he checked me in for service maintenance, there were 2 other customers that he checked in. I noticed that he was moving my key on the side as if I was being bumped down to the schedule every time he checks people in. About 15 min later, he informed me that I was scheduled for a drop-off instead of waiting. Keep in mind that this is my first time to be in this shop to get my vehicle serviced. I asked him how so since I didn't request for a drop-off. He then told me that there are 3 cars ahead of me and that I'm going to have to wait a lot longer. It got me upset because he kept insisting that I was there for a drop-off. I told him that I didn't request for anything like that then he asked me if I wanted to be placed on a waitlist with 3 other customers ahead of me. I got irate because that's the main reason why I got there first. He didn't even give me any type of consideration. I told him that I cannot wait any longer than an hour as they promised for the type of maintenance that I need so I ask again if they can take care of my vehicle and he's reply was "No" and "Get Out!" I'm not sure how this guy prefers his customer but I guess I noticed I'm the only minority person in there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone just because of this guy. Very Poor customer service! Bad communicator! I wasted 2 hours on this shop waiting for nothing! read more

Words simply can not describe the JOY of having a regular mechanic, and a trusted/well respected mechanic at that. What does my trust entail? Professionalism, competence, excellence in customer care/service, friendly, helpful, detailed oriented and getting me in and out in a timely manner and keeping their promise (regarding time require to fix an issue and the cost) and last but surely NOT least... a business earns my trust by giving me a fair and GREAT price on their work, all the time, every time I take the cars in. Jeff is like the a combination of a favorite uncle, a favorite teacher and a terrific neighbor and no non-sense regular beat police officer too. He's just so polite, kindhearted and SMART, yet at the exact same time, he's an "I mean business--I'm a a total professional" too when it comes to cars. He's saved us a ton of time, trouble and money. His prices are fair (or excellent) and I just LOVE that. Competence in mechanics and working on my cars means a LOT to me. That's what Jeff and Chris are all about and again, I'm thrilled to have found a regular mechanic I can count on that is not only out to just make money, but more important to do the job and right the first time and just help customers walk out with a smile. These guys are great. I needed to get a check engine light diagnosed. I went to a different shop, but they said they didn't have the right tools to do an accurate diagnosis, so they suggested that I go to the dealer. Then I drove by this place and I saw the sign that says they specialize in my car brand (MB) so I decided to take it there. The guys were very knowledgeable, patient, and answered all my questions fully. In the end, I chose not to have the work done (too expensive) and they let me walk away WITHOUT charging me a dime even though they told me upfront that the diagnosis was around $100.
