Mr. Johnson doesn't play. He tells you the most economical way to fix your auto-body problems and then takes care of everything as promised.

The FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, FOURTH & FIFTH place I recommend anybody to go to for auto body work. I guess I should feel some kind of way that I've done so much business with him (I'm a great driver, I SWEAR!...just kinda...unlucky lol)... I suggest going to the shop for a convo vs calling because he DOES do a LOT of business & the personal touch goes both ways in terms of getting what you need. Tell him I sent you & he'll say, "AGAIN??..." and then proceed to look out for you. read more

Doug Johnson makes having a car accident a pleasant experience! Not only is he warm and personable, he knows his stuff. He is computer savvy as well as a great mechanic. He knows how to communicate with all of the insurance companies and he gets the job done fast. There's not a car that he doesn't know about. And he knows how to get manufacturer parts quickly. He makes you feel like part of the family. We were very happy to meet him and do business with him. read more

I came here after getting into a little fender bender in DC. The seal on my door was off and created a lot of roadnoise. Prior to coming here I'd been led to believe I might have to replace the whole door to fix it, but they were able to bend the door back into place in less than a minute! As a woman I find that some places are more likely to try to take advantage of you, but they were honest and extremely affordable! You can definitely trust this place to give you a good deal. I highly recommend coming here and will absolutely be back whenever I have a problem. read more

Great honest business. It is so hard to find quality workmanship and a business that look out for the customer and provides options for the customer, while helping them during these hard economic times we live in. They beat the competition, even when Federal regulations tie their hands. I would definitely recommend this auto body business to my family and friends. read more

Johnson's is where you want to go. He and his crew are honest, and have the best prices in the area. He has a lot of his own equipment such as a paint mixer and will gladly use parts you brought or order for you. He can't do everything that a big car place will do, only auto body related stuff but if he can help you, you want to go here. read more

My 2004 little 4 door needed body work. Johnson's sourced the parts, installed them, and had my car realligned. She is driving now like she is 10 years younger. Truly appreciate the affordable repair so I don't have to buy a car with inflation so high !! Highly recommend Johnson's for your auto body work :-) - Erica read more

i would give more stars if i could. doug is terrific. good communication and a very fair price for quality work done early.

Doug is the best! We really appreciated him and the people who work there. Would highly recommend.

I am a single woman with a 2012 Dodge Charger. My air conditioning stopped working I purchased a Groupon and it was the best decision ever!!!! I am always very nervous about taking my car to get it repaired because people sometimes take advantage of the situation. It was a overwhelming comfortable experience and they were able to get the air conditioning working. Take your car to this automotive repair shop and you will not regret it!! read more

I have a classic, 30 year old BMW convertible that was rear-ended in a collision. The body shop at the local dealer really didn't want to touch it partly because of the problem with sourcing the parts. Doug let me bring in my parts and gave me an estimate Range for the work. I was really concerned about them matching the color with such an old car especially considering that it had a Maaco respray from 15 years prior. Long story short - paint came out beautifully, body work done with quality craftmanship and the price was at the Lower end of the range. They did a great job, for a really fair price, and they're all nice guys to boot! Kurt S. read more

Unfortunately, I have had some accidents that were not my fault. Doug Johnson is my "go to" guy. Always fair, always courteous. I even ask his for advice first before I go to any other mechanic or the dealer. Reliable and reasonable! read more

After reading the other reviews and taking the 5 stars into account, I decided to stop by and check the place out. If you are looking for a fancy place this may not be the place for you. But if you are looking for an old school body shop that actually knows how to do body work (as opposed to just replacing everything at high costs) then check this place out. Doug gave me a very fair price and was able to save some money by getting a mirror from a junk yard and repainting it (I was paying out of pocket). What a great job, and he got it done quicker than expected. Initially I was a little hesitant because of only 8 five star reviews. Well here is number nine and well deserved! read more

I went to get an estimate for a minor repair and the gentleman I spoke to took 20 minutes and fixed the issue on the spot, refusing to take any cash for his time and efforts. I will absolutely continue taking my business here in the future. read more

Excellent Work! I had some self-inflicted parking lot front end damage to my Honda Civic so wanted to pay out of pocket for the repair. I took it initially to Subway Auto Body and the lady there quoted me $1894 for the repair and stated with certainty that it would be more because she was unable to open the hood because of the fender and there would certainly be more damage. She also said it would take more than a week to repair. I decided to get other quotes and went to Johnson's. Doug came out to look at it. Popped the hood (recall, Subway said there was unseen damage under it). He did his computer hocus pocus and said it would be $1450. I asked how firm the quote was and he looked perplexed and said it would cost $1450. I asked how long it would take and he said two days. Sign me up! Picked up the car before work the morning of the third day and Doug said he got a part cheaper than Honda was going to charge so it was only $1350. Work looks great! Definitely recommend! read more

Looks can be deceiving. Turn right at the psychics, drive past the worn garage and there is Johnson's. He fixed my car quickly and at an excellent cost. The work looks great. Hopefully I will not need a body shop again but if I do I'll come back here. read more

I was unfortunately involved in an accident through no fault of my own - got t-boned by a distracted driver which left me needing a entire door panel replaced among other work. I chose Johnson's based on a recommendation from my sister who had a good experience with them years ago. They made a stressful situation as seamless as possible. The owner handled supplemental issues with the other driver's insurance company directly and made the whole process as easy as he could for me. It took 2 weeks to get my vehicle back due to a holiday weekend, part delivery delays and the shop being so busy but I'm glad I went there. My vehicle looks great! The owner is a nice guy and stands by his work. I would happily recommend them to anyone needing body work done on their vehicle. read more

As the previous reviewer noted, Mr. Johnson is a friendly and highly professional (emphasis on PRO!) individual. He went out of his way to provide an honest estimate. My car, which had been dinged up front and back now looks new! The senior discount was just icing on the cake. The work was completed in a timely manner, and everyone was extremely polite. I HIGHLY recommend Johnson's Auto Body! read more

Excellent customer service. They took time out of there busy schedule to do a front number install and did not charge anything. I would recommend 100 percent!! read more

If you need an Auto Body repair shop to fix your car this is the ONLY place to take your car. A wolf in sheeps clothing. This place is hard to easily spot on route 3. But i am glad my neighboor sent me here. The place is an old Quansit Hut style building with everything you need to fix an autobody. Mr. Johnson and is assistants are hard working and exceptional body repair guys. Fast repair and the paint looked beautiful, in fact I have gad to return twice more for some new accident repair. Highly recommend this body shop. read more

Mr. Johnson was easy to work with and his shops work has been undetectable. I can't say enough positives in this message about how satisfied I am, would highly recommend this business. read more

Johnson's auto body is as good as it gets! 5 stars. They just fixed the clasp and alignment of the trunk on my 2006 chevy cavalier and didnt even charge me a thing. Now that is great. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and honest body shop - I dont think you could do better than going here. In a world where the consumer has to watch out for dishonest and or inept auto repair - its a treasure to find one that is both honest, friendly and very competent. If you need work done I recommend - Go here! read more
