I was on a tight schedule, and my usual was totally swamped, so they referred me to this shop right behind them. I thought it was kind of cool because they had me drive up and drive around a little bit to try and find out where the tire leak was coming from. I'm used to them just doing everything themselves, so personally I like being part of the process somehow. They also gave me a heads up before proceeding that based on where the leak was coming from, it would cost more than normal. They could've just done it without asking, so I appreciate it that gesture! Within a few hours, my car was ready. Now, later on that evening, I realized that the tire was still leaking, but I took it back as soon as I could and they addressed the problem at no additional cost. And they did it right on the spot! I can't remember the last time that I got car work done without having to come back later. They are professional, and overall get work done faster... Even though it can be hard to gauge because my tire may be on its last leg (yikes). I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

They're very close to my house & they're always extremely accommodating & friendly. All car repairs are expensive but here they're at least reasonable. I'd recommend them to anyone with a car. I don't think they're dishonest. I just think they lack the experience to properly diagnose vehicles. Seems like they look at it like "let's see what we can come up with" as opposed to "what needs to be fixed." Finally, every time I called, whoever answered the phone always just said "Hello" like she was answering her home phone. Not very professional. Also failed to mention 3% surcharge for laying with a credit card.

I had work done on two vehicles. First off, the loaner program made the repair costs much more…read morepalatable. They stand by their work and even paid for my tow when a tough repair failed. I don't like to pay for replacement parts from the dealer (which appears to be the rule in this area of Maryland) but in this case it worked to my benefit. As for inspections, I have heard the same story about just about every repair shop. While I appreciate the level of scrutiny, it appears like a one time chance to obtain a lot of work. Coming from a neighboring state , I was naive as far as the costs and the 30 day requirement for findings to be resolved. A lesson learned the hard way. I have found the Walt Eger team to be responsive to my needs and to provide timely informative updates.
