What makes this a pretty unique place, is that they offer free drinks or frozen yogurt if you fill up with $40 or more in gas. I thought that was a pretty nice "Thank You" for stopping by. They also look like they have a kitchen where they do breakfast for about $5. Never had it, because it smells greasy but I'm sure its tasty. Anyways, the staff is very friendly and nice. The customers....well...some of them are not the most respectful to them or other customers...... let's just say that the staff has done a very good job in handling them and keeping a positive attitude.

There is also a convenience store, which is ok. But today, prices for unleaded here were $3.79 per gallon. Almost across the street and a couple of blocks up, there is another station I prefer to use where I filled up for $3.29. So fifty cents a gallon difference in just a quarter of a mike? Baloney. Their air pump is also located in an area where their delivery trucks park, so the last time I needed air, I could not get close enough to the pump. Convenient, yes, but not a good deal.

I wrote a review for this 7-Eleven on 4/9/2018 but due to some technical issues with Yelp, the…read morereview, located at the below link, isn't searchable. https://www.yelp.com/biz/7-eleven-severna-park-5 Here is my review . . . again. Bottom Line: A brand new 7-Eleven, complete with gas pumps, just a 1/4 mile north of its former location. The 7-11 in Arnold's College Village shopping center faithfully served travelers on northbound Ritchie Highway for decades! As of the end of March, this 7-Eleven has a new and improved home, about 1/4 mile north on Ritchie Highway at Jones Station Road. The new location consists of a brand new store and eight gas pumps. The store was built from the ground up and is probably twice the size as the old location. Everything inside is bright and sparkling. They have the basics like a soda fountain, coffee and ATM machine. I also noticed that this new location has a lot more cases for hot food and a refrigerator with bait. Of course you can count on 7-Eleven for lotto tickets, Slurpees, snacks and bottled beverages too. Unlike the old location, this location has gas pumps - eight of them! They have three grades of gas and pumps #1 and #2 have diesel. This new location is substantially busier than the old location, probably thanks to the excitement of something new in SP, the addition of gas pumps and a better location. It seems like they've definitely added staff to scale with the increased number of customers. Since this location is at an intersection with a stop light, it is more accessible to those traveling on southbound Ritchie Highway than the old location.

You will need a Costco membership or a Costco gift card to patronize this fuel center…read more The traffic pattern at this location can get a bit tricky. You're supposed to enter from the street, but outbound drivers try to bypass the long line by turning right. Cones have been put into place to discourage that. Many people get fixated on going to a pump based on what side their gas tank is on. The pumps have long hoses so you can fuel up at any of the pumps. This makes the lines longer than they need to be and inattentive drivers on their phones increases the amount of wait time. The cost of fuel is generally lower than some locations and when I'm nearby, I make it a point to top off. Be aware of your surroundings and ensure the pump hasn't been tampered with or the credit card reader doesn't have a skimmer attached. I've never had that issue but just be alert to your surroundings and what you're doing. Rule of thumb is to ensure the pump has stopped before you walk away. Otherwise you'll be paying it forward without your expressed consent. It is also posted to discourage swiping your membership card to allow non-members to fuel up. In the event the credit card is stolen, it is now attributed to you.
