Anyhow, today was my first time ever using their service station for a suspected leak in one of my car's tires. I went inside the mini store to ask if it could be seen today, preferably within that moment. The attendant was accepting and prompt with my request and told me to move my car around to one of the bays to be seen. I asked if appointments were generally required and he said they were but accepted my last minute request. A tech came out no later than 5 minutes of waiting in my car and inspected the entire tire for the problem. He brought out some tools, an air hose and within 10 minutes he came around to tell me that he found the nail causing the leak, patched it up, refilled the tire's PSI and charged me $10. All within a matter of minutes. I had originally scheduled an appointment to take my car to it's dealership to be seen but after my spouse reminded me of how long the wait could've been and how much I could've been charged, I cancelled the appointment and went locally to this respectful gas station shop. Honest work and people, more than reasonable pricing, and efficient work, all in a very timely manner. Thanks, Mobil of Bowie.

But the great part is the staff that Fathers Day was wonderful. 2 young men without hesitation, pushed my car to the pump and refused a small financial reward. Wawa is about at rock bottom with me. It used to be the go to place for great fast food but COVID…read morereally changed things for most of the Wawas in Maryland. I don't frequent this one in Gambrills but I can certainly understand the poor rating. Went in today for lunch and ordered a chicken burrito bowl and small chicken noodle soup. Usually the bowls are pretty decent but not today! The rice and bean were not cooked properly, they were hard in places. And the guy who made it didn't put on the chipotle sauce so it was very dry to eat. I think there was about a half a teaspoon of guacamole that I paid extra for. The chicken noodle soup was mostly broth. And to add insult to injury it was 15 dollars for subpar food. It is very difficult to find workers that care. Sooo disappointed with Wawa anymore.

You pull up, they get you in, and everything moves pretty efficiently. No long waits, no overcomplicating things. What I appreciate most is they don't try to upsell you on a bunch of stuff you don't need. They'll let you know if something's worth looking into, but it doesn't feel like a sales pitch every five minutes. The staff is friendly and straightforward. They explain what they're doing, answer questions if you have them, and keep things moving. You can tell they do this all day and know what they're doing. The whole process is quick. You're in and out without feeling rushed, which is exactly what you want for something like this. Overall, it's a reliable spot. Honest service, good people, and efficient work. This is one of those places I keep going back to because I know what to expect every time.

This gas station is probably the most convenient when headed out of town on Forest Drive. Prices…read moreare a bit high, but they are a pretty easy to get to coming in and leaving town. What makes this a pretty unique place, is that they offer free drinks or frozen yogurt if you fill up with $40 or more in gas. I thought that was a pretty nice "Thank You" for stopping by. They also look like they have a kitchen where they do breakfast for about $5. Never had it, because it smells greasy but I'm sure its tasty. Anyways, the staff is very friendly and nice. The customers....well...some of them are not the most respectful to them or other customers...... let's just say that the staff has done a very good job in handling them and keeping a positive attitude.

There is also a convenience store, which is ok. But today, prices for unleaded here were $3.79 per gallon. Almost across the street and a couple of blocks up, there is another station I prefer to use where I filled up for $3.29. So fifty cents a gallon difference in just a quarter of a mike? Baloney. Their air pump is also located in an area where their delivery trucks park, so the last time I needed air, I could not get close enough to the pump. Convenient, yes, but not a good deal.

While I'm sure they use some frozen ingredients (similar to many big restaurants), they also incorporate fresh ones. The open kitchen is great too; if you have time, you can watch them prepare your meal. The store is always clean and well-stocked, and the coffee is freshly ground per cup. I could go on! Oh, and be sure to get the app to take advantage of great gas promotions at certain times--it's kind of like an open bar! The staff is friendly, and I'm honestly loving it. I hope the new location being built in Bowie is just as good, if not better (if that's possible). Keep it up, Dash In, and you'll continue to earn my coins!

A respectable 7.7 out of 10 but let's be real, for a gas station it's a 10. EV charging (Level 3, no less). Customer service was on point too shoutout to the guy who was wiping down countertops, presentation is everything. The seating area is spacious and shockingly classy. Zero "gas station vibes."
