I had been to this Wawa a couple of times to get gas or for the convenience store. I got the delicious hoagie here one time in April 2021. I went with a couple of friends as we were going to an O's game, and cheaper to eat here than at Camden Yard. They were pretty efficient not having to wait too long on that Saturday. I have had several decent visits during the day. Entering the store after 9pm was drastically different. The casino is nearby and tons of people are grabbing food that is cheaper than casino restaurants. I didn't mind the crowd. The lack of staff made it a challenge for us and them. The nice person making beverages was overwhelmed. She asked for backup. The cashier was by herself and a bit flustered. The men's room was gross and out of toilet paper. The smoothie was amazing. Before returning to our accommodations for the night we needed to stop and grab a few snacks and what nots. We searched nearby to see what was available and this was the closest thing that would have what we needed. This location was pretty packed. And it was oddly positioned. Located in front of a hotel the lot felt a bit smaller than it should be. Parking was a barely there, or at least it seemed. Unlike other locations, that had wrap around parking spots. This one is very limited with nearby parking. When I say that, I mean parking spots near the door. If you are not lucky to get a spot in front of the building you will have to use a side parking lot that feels like you are parking at the hotel. Then you have to traverse the parking lot while you make sure not to get run over. Inside we were able to find what we needed. We made a quick purchase and were on our way again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Did a mobile order for the $5 breakfast special on Thursday, Jan 15, 2026 at about 7:40am. Ordered a breakfast sandwich combo and the food was the worst I ever had. It is obvious the food given to me was sitting out and prepared in advance of me ordering or simply old. I ordered from my car and went inside the store right away for pick up and the food was already there so no way it was freshly made. I made the mistake of not checking the food before leaving the store. I got in my car, took a bite, and spit it out. The croissant was dried out and overcooked. The bacon was burned and the egg was brown and dried out. The hash brown patty was stuck to the paper it was wrapped in and was inedible and cold. likely cooked in the same paper and was sitting for a while. The best thing was the coffee. Did not have time to go back in for a refund because I had to get to work. No one should be served food like this especially if not fresh. I had a breakfast combo at another location in the past and it was great. Happy 2024! I'm starting the year off right, extolling the virtues of Wawas near and far. They usually have good to decent bathrooms. Lots of snack choices for your road trip. Gas. The first and last delivered, but the snack run didn't live up to the quality of most Wawas. The free style and iced coffee machines were broken, pouring out the wrong flavors of drinks. Steve kitchen (was told that was his name - big dude) was standing at the kitchen entrance when I approached him to see if he would grab me a vitamin d milk since none were on the shelf and I could visually see them. I love wawa as a whole and have been to many locations. This one is very much middle grade. The gas prices are good, and it is conveniently located right off the highway. They do a good job keeping their inventory stocked. If you order food that is made behind the counter, be ready to wait longer that you hope to. The gas area was a little dirty today, but that is more so an issue created by someone who decided to dump all of their food and trash directly in front of the pump. I'm deeply unsatisfied with the cleaning quality of this wawa. I used the bathroom and there was hair all over the sink, floors were wet and sticky and there was trash everywhere. After I was finished in the bathroom I wanted coffee however the coffee station was horrible, usage everywhere. TLDR - Stick with the hoagies and milkshakes. Any time I've gotten anything else I've been disappointed. If you've never been, Wawa is known for its hoagies, but its a full serve gas station with all the trimmings inside. This location's food service can be slow at times, but they're doing their best. Just pray you don't end up behind someone taking forever to figure out how to use the lotto machine. As for food... It looks like at some point they tried to introduce quesadillas, which I just found out, but after ordering two of them, I will never try those again. Really dry tortilla and the jalapeno popper version had like nothing inside of it. Taco Bell does better quesadillas for about the same price or less. Wawa has also at some point recently brought back their hot honey chicken tendies sandwich with cheesy grits. It's a must buy if you like cheese covered chicken strips and hot honey sauce. Milkshake-wise, I usually get a new flavor anytime I come in and I have yet to find one that wasn't a winner. This is one of the best Wawa's in the area. The employees here are super friendly and social. The store is always stocked and spotlessly clean. The sandwiches always have a lot of meat on them which is a good thing. Some Wawa's are very stingy on the meat. Not this one. Can't say anything about the gas since I own a fully electric car. But the prices seem very reasonable and competitively price. The only downfall is this Wawa gets a lot of food traffic which means sometimes the wait for food can get a little long but they usually have two people making the food so it moves along also the food is always hot and packed with meat. read more

The customer service here is really bad at the cash register. The food preparers are cool and calm. The lady screamed out that people not using cash or buying tobacco or alcohol could use the self checkout and once she noticed no one went to use it she said something under her breath to her co worker. Ryan proceeded to brew a fresh container of coffee, and let me know it would be approximately five to seven minutes. In the meantime he went over to the cash register and rang up customers, because it was pretty busy on Saturday evening. If you wanna see an example of Johnny on the spot, ask for Ryan. Ryan said he lives in New Jersey and came down to Hanover to open the new store. I hope he stays, or else his trainees/replacements will be just as attentive as he was. Usually when I am in the BWI/Fort Meade/Columbia/Arundel Mills area, Costco is my first choice for gas, Sams Club my second. The fuel was on par or cheaper than most other gas stations around and they had plenty of food and drink options available inside. I almost feel like I should give this a 1 star but they get a second star because they provide friendly and decent customer service. Half the time I order here something is not right like cold sausages on their breakfast sandwiches I order a la carte or their lattes taste like something else or the bread is not toasted. Whenever I am in the area, I love stopping at this location in the morning. Immediately when you walk through the door the staff greets you with a 'Good Morning" and a sincere smile.
