Almost across the street and a couple of blocks up, there is another station I prefer to use where I filled up for $3.29. So fifty cents a gallon difference in just a quarter of a mike? Baloney. Their air pump is also located in an area where their delivery trucks park, so the last time I needed air, I could not get close enough to the pump. Convenient, yes, but not a good deal.

Caveat Emptor ... Buyer Beware!…read more Traveling across country and needed someone to change the oil in our truck, balance the tires and grease the bearings on the trailer. We were concerned we would have to go to multiple shops and were very pleased when we were assured that "we can do all for you". Seems that isn't quite true. They did the oil change and greased the bearings on the trailer (single axle) but told us the wheels were too big for them to balance. It's an F250, we told them that up front, and it has stock wheels/tires on it. Their comment was, they look fine, tires are new (they aren't) and they have weights on the wheels ... no kidding. I wasn't aware you could eye-balance a wheel. So it's late in the afternoon and we have no choice but to leave on a 1000+ mile trip as is. Perhaps the worse part is the price ... almost $500 to change the oil and grease two bearings. We were left with no options, we needed to leave the next day. One may think that if the bill was going to be that high for minimal work there may be a call made to the customer. Nope ... just another day, business as usual. I STRONGLY recommend avoiding this scam artist. They will rob you and leave you hanging.

We decided to take the car to a Chevrolet dealership, where they told us the hub bearing replacement was only $230 for the part and about 1.5 hours of labor. The total came to $410 (before taxes and shop fees), far less than what the other place was asking for. When I called to confront them about the inflated price, they didn't even care to explain -- they just said, "Take the job elsewhere if you don't like the price." It's clear this place is trying to rip people off, especially women, with inflated repair costs. I would never recommend them to anyone. Be cautious and do your research before trusting this place -- they'll try to scam you.

I know it sounds silly to feel like I love my gas station, but I really do! They do Maryland inspections, and their shop is really fairly priced. You do have to get there really early in the morning if you want their service to be timely because they're so great. They also have an air compressor in the back where you can fill your tires.
