I went back to have it re-inspected, failed again. At this point, it seems as though this shell is running a fraudulent inspection operation. DONT GO HERE FOR INSPECTION THEY ARE ALL CROOKS. Interaction with the staff: The shop manager/owner gave evasive explanations and used dismissive language when I questioned the process. After a brief inspection, I was told my car failed because it had no muffler, which is inaccurate for my custom but street-legal vehicle. I was instructed to remove parts and come back, which felt like pressure to return and pay additional fees. Red flags: No clear, labeled instructions or follow-up steps; pressure to proceed without transparency; suggestion to alter the vehicle to pass inspection; vague explanations about the result; lack of printed documentation or a clear inspection report. How to tell someone their car is loud but you don't have a decibel meter? Outcome: I left unsatisfied and later confirmed with legitimate Maryland inspection resources that the experience did not align with proper inspection practices. It took us a week and a half to be able to fly from CA to MD to get his car. Adi was honest, communicative and kind in ensuring my Dad's car was properly repaired and his fees were beyond reasonable, to the point I tipped him for his kindness, generously and honesty in dealing with my Dad's car. Never again will I come to this location.
