I honestly did not know that this location existed. Especially since I have drove through this area on a few occasions. It is great to know now, but I wish I would have known beforehand. I solely came here to purchase ice. In short, I should have went elsewhere instead of having to waste my time. Coming here, the parking lot is truly congested. No matter what happens here, you will most likely be cursing because of the congestion in the parking lot. Go inside and search for ice. Most times at a gas station/convenience store they have ice chests outside, but not here. The ice was inside a freezer inside. Normally you would most likely see the ice and it would be obvious where it is. But I searched all the coolers and it was kind of off by itself. Then, they only had two bags of the seven pound ice. I grab them, just in case I wouldn't be able to find any ice elsewhere. Go to the registers and use the self checkout. Take the ice outside and throw it in my cooler. Completely messed up my food order. I spent $50 on lunch stuff here excited to get the seasonal Gobbler--nothing was made correctly. You'd think you would get it right ordering it yourself on a screen. The whole point of customizing with made to order? I drove 40 minutes out of my way to specifically get a specialty fall item at Wawa and I get a disgusting soggy sandwich that was NOT even close to what I ordered. They took forever to get my order out too. Half of it just sat on the counter while I watched everyone else in line get their items. Terrible service, and the worst Wawa experience I've ever had. I picked up my chai tea from the drink counter and the young man started complaining to me about his work day and how he was sick of being there. So, clearly the employees are phoning it in. Hey y'all. My review mad late, but I ordered Wawa through Uber eats. My daughter got the create your own bowl (mashed potatoes/Mac n cheese, chicken strips, barbecue sauce and honey mustard.) I got a Chicken Strip Sub. & surprisingly my sandwich wasn't made that well. Wawa always comes with the sauce, but this sandwich was mad dry. I actually asked for other sauce to be added outside of mayo and it was barely there. I am giving this Wawa 4 starts because when I go inside there's needed an issue and the folks are always nice. Service is always fast. I go to Wawa all times of the day/night never had an issue. Don't know if I I'd order my sandwich off Uber eats again, but the bowl was bomb though! This place takes convenience store food to a whole new level. They offer an impressive variety of sandwiches, burritos, and breakfast bowls all fresh and made to order... and for an unbeatable price. So far, I've had the chicken burrito, the beef burritos, and the egg white breakfast bowl (not all at the same time, though. LOL!). Each has been a delicious alternative to the other nearby fast food options. Service was prompt and my food was prepared to my specifications. I like that they offer more than just greasy fried stuffed: perfect for those of us who are still trying to maintain our girlish figures, but still got places to go! I'm pleased that they offer both almond milk and non-dairy creamers, for those of us who just can't do dairy anymore. I'm not a big coffee drinker, and one of the reasons is because most of creamers offered are dairy products. I was pleased to see several cartons of flavored creamer including French Vanilla, and my favorite, Hazelnut. Iced coffee... don't mind if I do! I prefer not to get gas here because I feel like it burns faster than gas that I get from other places. I went to this wawa today for subs and everyone of them were made wrong or badly. The first was turkey with a lot of fixins, it only had turkey cheese and mayo, second one had absolutely no bacon. The level of social distancing is non existent in this wawa. They have signs and everything is shut down as far as machines that you use for self service. I couldn't even make my own coffee and the line was to long. I ended up ordering a tuna hoagie with a side of clam chowder. The clam chowder was nasty and undercooked. The sandwich was epic. came in on may 3, 2024... bathroom was filthy, ordering kiosks were filthy as well covered in greasy fingerprints. the least dirty kiosk malfunctioned as i placed my order. i asked the urban woman behind the counter for assistance and she rolled her eyes, sucked her teeth and walked away. i do not know her, so the only reason i can come to for her refusing to help is because i'm transgendered. nothing else made sense to me about our interaction. needless to say i left without my sandwich. called and asked to speak to the manager and someone named "julian" answered the phone. laughed at me and taunted me, offered no resolution. disgustingly immature employees. this Wawa store is NOT lgbtq friendly. it is unsanitary, ghetto, and the staff are unprofessional. if you value yourself, go elsewhere. read more

This place is crazy busy. The parking lot is a bit tricky to navigate. There is a lot of traffic so you may have to wait for a pump. Fountain drinks are 1.00 (32 oz). You can even make your own milk shake. The gas station is in the middle of lots of stores and restaurants. The employees are nice. I prefer the Wawa in Gainesville because it feels less frantic but, when the tank is empty you fill up where you are. BJs pumps are 2 cents cheaper and close by. read more

Wawa is sin sold with gas! I love the little kiosk custom ordering stations for most of the food items in the shop. They offer a wide variety of items. They have salads to go, sandwiches, yogurt, smoothies, coffee, muffins, chips... Ahhh. Wawa is a treat that my son always asks for, lol. TIP: Check the base pricing of sandwiches on the board by the sandwich station. If you don't, you won't know the price of your sandwich or order until you get to the register =/ They definitely need to make that a part of the ordering process. Bottom line, the food is good. This is my after hours, before I head home spot. I'll stop in here after hanging out in DuPont area at one of the many club, bars, nail salons or comedy clubs and get a hoagie and a fountain soda or coffee. Sometimes I'll enjoy it on location and other times I'll wait til I get home or even save it for another day. Its the closest one to me and I've been waiting years for a Wawa to open up closer. The coffee bar is extensive, fresh and free refills. The handcrafted coffee drinks are pretty good and not as expensive as the other places. Its also pretty big. Or pump their gas and go inside and get cigarettes while leaving their car at the pump? Because apparently consideration for others is not a thing anymore but whatever. You'll be waiting for gas and look around and see 5-6 cars with NO ONE AROUND THEM because god knows what they are doing inside. Oh but let me get to INSIDE in a minute. Because I haven't even gotten to the free air pump. For a while I was plagued with a leaky tire and had to endure the 4-5 car wait each time I wanted some free air. Here's an idea. While you're waiting and you're the next car in line. Take your little plastic air pump covers off your tires BEFORE YOU GET THERE because you need something to do in the 20 minutes you're waiting. And then when you're done, PULL FORWARD AND THEEEEN put your plastic air cover thingys back on. Again, have some self awareness. Oh, and did I mention I got into a car accident in this parking lot? If you ever drove here, you'd understand because it's hard to navigate with all the cars that are around here. EXCEPT MY CAR WAS PARKED! Yeah. When I say they move so slow at this wawa they really move slow. The staff their is friendly, but they move slow and the staff there is overwhelmed. Wawa management seems like they need to hire more staff to meet the needs of the store flow. If you order food from here be sure to account to wait for at least 30mins. This Wawa location seems to need a reboot because it always disappoints. I recently walked into the store and it had a meat smell. Well that's because they left a pile of bacon and deli meat sitting on the counter in the coffee section. That meat has been sitting there unattended for a while and they were putting that on sandwiches. This location is always dirty and out of code. Great gas prices and a nice little convenience store that offers a surprising variety of items. The sandwich section is better than expected. Their chicken strip sub is pretty good. Their lobster bisque...not so much. Note to self: no matter how nice a gas station/corner store is.....there are limitations. This is Wawa. Wawa is amazing. I love Wawa. That being said there are a couple differences between this one and the one in Chantilly or Frederick. It seems a bit more crowded and smaller but still has basically everything the others do. Not sure if they were out of mashed potatoes or just dont have them so instead of a bowl I tried a quesadilla which was very good. They don't give you the food until you show the stamped slip saying you paid. The mozzarella sticks seemed a bit hard and dried out and I had to specially ask for the cheesey stuffed pretzels but the people working were really nice and I'd go back. read more

Place is typically busy because of the beltway is right there but they do have FREE AIR. Other places will charge you till stock up on air for your tires. They are typically fast pace on the inside unless they are down to 1 worker. They do have hot food to order and breakfast sandwiches to take out if your in a rush. This is the closest Wawa to my home. Despite the high volume of customers it attracts this Wawa location is pretty good with service...most of the time. Despite of all it has to offer, this location can be quite messy. Frequent clean-ups would solve this problem. In addition, there have been a couple of times where this Wawa has run out of ice for the soda machine and they have no more to fill up the machines. It is so disappointing because I want my Coke Zero with lime flavor added into it. read more

This is the stop we go to before heading off to FedEx field to get subs and snacks. The subs here are delicious and I know its always weird when you are getting food like that from a gas station but this Wawa is always good. I've never had a bad experience with the food here, its better than any Subway anyday. The customer service is also good, they are very friendly.
