Fine Liberty brand gas station. Regular hours. Clean garage. Gas is pretty inexpensive for the area. This place also does inspections, mechanic checks. Other car dealers' workers gas up here, that means its solid! I'll be back. Review: 4 read more

Franconia Liberty - Liberty gas stop - Gas Stations Near Me - Alexandria, Virginia

The gas station is conveniently located where I run errands. I haven't used any of the car services, just the gas pump. Be careful entering/exiting. Not everyone pays attention. read more

All things are possible, If it's broke it will get fixed. Great customer service, waiting area, drinks.

This is where I always come for oil changes and inspections. They have quality service and they aren't trying to break the bank. Would definitely recommend if your car needs servicing read more

Consistently the cheapest gas in my area. And by 'cheapest', it's usually at least 20 cents cheaper than even other stations along the same road. The closest competitor is the Liberty almost across the street, but this usually beats it by a cent or two. If I could pay in cash, it may be even a few cents cheaper than it already is. The only downside is other people also know how cheap it is, because there's always a line. Gas apps must vector people here! read more

5 stars for this gas station only because it's the only inexpensive as station in the area. It's right next to 2 other stations, both significantly more expensive. It's right on the corner which you'd think would cause issues getting in, but I've never had difficulty getting in and getting a pump. It also has only a few pumps and a small area to navigate, but again I've had no issues. I've also had inspections done here, and they're very quick and reliable. read more

Marvin and the crew here went out of their way for me recently. I am a repeat customer because they don't overcharge, treat women with respect, and are nice and helpful. The shuttle took me home as my repair was going to take several hours and returned for me promptly when my vehicle was ready. I highly recommend them for their hard work and courteousness. read more

This is the most affordable /honest guy in NOVA. I have taken my Nissan Rogue there for the past 4 years. Always honest about what is going on; and also reasonable as I am a Senior and female. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. The owner is lovely and his staff are pleasant to engage with as well. read more

State inspection...in and out gotta love it. The crew were expeditious and professional. I recommend this place to all. read more

Ran into this place today after a car emergency. When I say these folks were friendly and attentive- it is an understatement. Thank you for all your help and I look forward to being a customer for my car needs going forward. read more

Wayne + his staff are amazing. They really take care of their people and make sure you're getting the best deals around... but want to keep you safe in your vehicle at the same time. Would definitely recommend to anyone moving to the area who needs a new garage! read more

Wayne and his crew are top notch and incredibly fair. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicle. They go out of their way to get you the best price for parts to keep the pricing down. They also do a great job of explaining the work they've completed. I highly recommend this crew. read more

I have brought my car here a couple of times over the past couple of years and they have been great each time. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I will continue to bring my car here for repairs and gas! read more

Good & professional auto service at reasonable prices. Cheap gas.

Some of the cheapest gas around! It's a very small station, only 4 pumps I think. It can be tough to get in and out of because it's so little but the gas is cheaper than the BP across the street! read more

This review is overdue. I've been taking my car to Franconia Liberty for over five years now. They perform the annual inspections, oil changes and repair the vehicle when needed to include the engine and the catalytic converter. They have treated me professionally, made arrangements to pick me up (at no charge), went the extra mile to arrange for my car to be towed from my garage to their service station, courtesy of a dead battery, and have worked with me to find cost effective solutions. They have not sold me things I do not need, have been honest (i.e. the service engine soon light was fixed by a new gas cap) and have great flexibility with their hours to pick up and/or drop off vehicles. Thank you, Franconia Liberty. read more

Best gas price on the area. Fast service and ok prices for minor repairs. In experience honest and professional mechanics.

One of the cheaper places in the area, but not as busy as the Amerigo gas station nearby. Getting in and out is easy and there is usually never a wait when I came by. read more

This station is listed as several different venues in Yelp. The gas is always a few cents less than competitors and my mileage is as good or better than national brands. Service is good and they have a reasonable selection of drinks and snacks. Have not used the repair facility since Liberty took it over. read more

This place is awesome. They are wonderful and reasonably priced. Girma, Peter and Kendall were extremely helpful. read more

Franconia Liberty - This is Kendall. He made my day great by his big smile and welcoming atmosphere . Peter and Girma were great today. - Gas Stations Near Me - Alexandria, Virginia

Went here for inspection and another time to get some engine work done. They quoted me about $60 less than another service center. They were fast and the front desk guy Wayne was really friendly and helpful. Gas here is also on the lower cost end and always a few cents cheaper than the Shell station two doors down. Will definitely come back here for service work and gas! read more

These people are rude and liars. They hit my car and didn't tell me. When I found the scratch it was too late and I was no longer on the repair shop. When you request an oil change you don't examine your car for damages - correct. I was stupid enough to leave them my car for oil change. When return after few hours, although they supposed to call me and they never called, I had to call them after several hours to check the status. I was overcharged. Never go there. read more

My wife took the van in for an oil change. She called me after a few minutes saying there was a problem. Mechanic had taken the oil plug out and now claimed the threads were so loose they would have to install a new drain pan costing $280. This didn't sound right. I told the station owner to keep the van on the lift and drove to the station. I looked into the hole where the oil plug had been. It was unmistakable what I saw: Someone had taken a flat head screwdriver or chisel, stuck it into the hole, and drove it in with a hammer. One whole side of the threads had collapsed and could no longer be plugged. What happened here? The owner decided to take advantage of my wife figuring a female wouldn't know any better. Not only is it disturbing he would take advantage of a woman, it is also disturbing he would deliberately damage the car in order to turn a profit. I've heard of crooked business people, but never before have I heard of one who would do deliberate damage to his customers' property. I told the owner to take the van down off the lift. I watched that no further damage was done while I waited for a wrecker to arrive so I could have it towed to a mechanic I trusted (it had to be towed; due to the damage it wouldn't hold any oil). I wasn't about to pay this crook to repair the damage he had created. If you are smart, you won't do any business at this station either. The owner is a crook who takes advantage of women and will rip you off in a heartbeat. On the other hand, the gas is cheap - but how do you know it isn't watered down? Word to the wise: Avoid this business like the plague. read more

Has the be the worst inspection location in Alexandria. Most importantly the individuals working--at least on the day I went--were not familiar with the procedures or requirements for the inspection and did not appear to be properly trained. They had a lot of excuses but not much substance to their comments. To top it off the receptionist was rude, the area was dirty, and the parking lot itself is small and easily traffic jammed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Great gas station. They are extremely nice and knowledgeable plus they will only fix what needs fixing!

After bouncing from shop to shop I have made this auto repair the place to go for me and my extended family. Repairs are always completed within the day and affordably. I have never had to take my car back because something was not done right. Everyone in the staff is very friendly and doesn't bs. Plus gad prices at this location are the lowest in Franconia. read more

I came to clean my car and I went inside with two dollars to get some quarters , I go and put in all 8 quarters and the Vac isn't working so I go in and tell the man at the register that I put in all my quarters and it wasn't working he then asked me If I had put in all eight quarters or only seven I responded really fast and told him I came in with only two dollars and got 8 quarters back so yes I did , Then he gave me a paper that I needed to fill out so I could get my refund and he had the nerve to tell me to call this number and that the manager might or might not call me back like are you serious I'm never coming here again this will be the first and last time I come here. read more

Always great service, and the fairest pricing around. I've never felt ripped off or that they were telling me things needed to be repaired that didn't need work, and they've always been very prompt with their work. I took my car for front brake and drum work and they were so rude. The person named max and his clerks are liars. They take people's money and scam them. The work they did is a joke period. This was my first time at Liberty. I was referred by a worker, because my car's windshield wiper fluid wasn't working, and the dealer kept trying to convince me it was frozen, and discouraged me from bringing it in even after I told them that I use -40 fluid. Anyway, after two weeks of no windshield fluid and salty roads, I decided to take it somewhere else. I took a chance on Liberty due to the high recommendation of my coworker and so glad I did!! These guys were polite, professional, and got me in same day. I feel the price was more than fair! I'll be going here for future car repair. read more

I have simply had it with the service center at the dealership where I bought my car. They are more interested in generating profit than taking care of the customer. Always "recommending" extra service options every single time I take in my car. Do I really need a transmission flush at every visit?!!! So I recently decided to try Franconia Liberty since I have been happy with them for their state inspection service the past few years. First off, the manager (Keith) and assistant manager (Kendall) are professional and friendly. Also they are patient as I'm sure they wanted to laugh at me as I tried to describe, in my layperson terms, some of the problems with my car - "there's this 'klanky' noise from something underneath..." LOL. :-) They got my car in for service in a very timely manner. And also, I thought their prices for the service/repairs were very fair. I was not in shock when they told me the cost whereas almost every time I leave the dealership I have to mentally recover from the latest outrageous charge to my credit card. I plan to continue taking my car to Franconia Liberty and hope the good service continues. read more

Came in because my car was overheating. They said they would do a pressure test, after the did the pressure test, they said there was nothing wrong, they also claimed they ran the car for 2 hours at idle, and drove it too. The Car came in with and eighth of a tank and left with about the same. 15 minutes after leaving the car over heated again losing 2 gallons of fluid. Car is now at Ford to get fixed. After reading the Yelp reviews I thought maybe it was just bad luck for a few people, now I know I will not bring any vehicles back to them and they also have lost my gas business. Good luck to anyone who thinks they can get something done, thankfully I only loss $55.00 for their non-help. read more

These guys were so great today. My car was all sorts of expired and I didn't know until I received a ticket while parked in Alexandria. The car is new so I guess I thought I didn't need to worry well I was coming out of the DMV and looking for an inspection station. I pulled right in and they took me me immediately. One of the guys came out to tell me the registration was out of date. But he let me use his computer and I was registered in minutes. They were so nice and didn't look at me like I was an idiot. At least not to my face. I am so pleased and legal. If I lived in Franconia I would definitely go there often. read more

Went to this shop for simple state inspection. Instead I feel like I got ramrodded. Nitpicking for things like a foggy headlight on a 15 year old car. Simply crazy as every car over 5 years old will fail as a result. Every car I saw there had a rejection sticker on it. This is simply a scheme to drum up more business. Unless your car is new DO NOT fall for this scam and avoid at all cost!!!!! read more

I have been to this service center a few times to get gas and get my safety and emissions checks done. I will never return for anything, not even a pack of gum, based on what happened this week. I took my car in to get the safety and emissions checks done and the safety check failed, due to the rear brakes being bad, at least according to the guy at the register. I knew that wasn't true because I just had my car worked on by my mechanic a couple months ago, and he didn't mention the brakes being bad. Anyway, the register guy and I go into the shop to talk with the mechanic, and the mechanic says "your brakes are bad, but they aren't bad enough to fail the safety inspection." Needless to say, I was not very happy w/ Mr. Register and I let him know about it. His response was "It was a misunderstanding". Yeah, a misunderstanding that would have cost me hundreds of dollars. Consider this a warning to anyone who goes there for service: they will try to rip you off. Ask a lot of questions and make sure to talk with the mechanic too if you are unfortunate enough to go there for service. read more
