I've been going to K&B for 4-5 years now, and only go elsewhere if I have to (e.g., tires, alignment, dealer recall). Tom and his wife are helpful, honest, and fair. They tell you what work you need, and don't try to pad the bill or upsell work you don't need, as many other shops do. They've done oil changes, brakes, rotors, transmission fluid and coolant replacement, spark plugs, fuel-induction service, oxygen-sensor replacement, and other regular maintenance for me, and it's always been finished on time, the first time. I finally took my 2004 Toyota RAV-4 to K & B for a long-overdue maintenance. Thanks to Tom and his staff, my RAV-4 drives smooth as ever! I had the fluids changed, oil and filter changes, brake and roter service and a badly needed wiper change. Tom even threw in a headlight cleaning for my fogged over headlights! Love K&B, Tom is great! Super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Took my 20+ yr old Tundra w/ 150k miles in to replace timing and drive belts, plugs, ignition coils, radiator, fan clutch/mount, water pump, belt tensioners, oil change etc. I was prepared to do more work on it, but Tom inspected the other areas and said it wasn't necessary at the time. I was surprised how quickly they were able to complete all of the work. The price of the work was very reasonable too. Truck has been running great since the work was done. They don't do appointments and they had a couple people in front of me, but everything was taken care of in a reasonable timeframe. The people were nice and transparent about how long they expected things to take which was also appreciated. I was looking for a local and reputable auto shop in the area and spoke with a member of the shop staff who was very polite and helpful about her recommendations for my specific mileage and vehicle. She went over the relevant pricing with me and also was upfront and indicated that there would be some slight price increases (e.g. from $98 to $108) going into effect in the new year. Although the shop does not offer appointments, I arrived promptly the following day and met Tom, who was also incredibly understanding and honest. He went over the recommendations I had received from a local dealership and one of the technicians reviewed my vehicle with these items in mind. They gave me their candid feedback about what was necessary (and also what wasn't needed) and I opted to have the recommended services done at far less expensive rates than I am used to from dealerships. The work was done promptly and everyone I interacted with at the shop was very friendly. Based on this experience alone, I would certainly recommend this shop to others. They have reasonable and competitive rates (and are transparent about their pricing) and the needs of your specific vehicle. I was out of town and had an unexpected car repair that I needed to check and a family member recommended I take it here. It happened over the weekend but they're closed on Sunday. Fortunately, they have an overnight key drop box, so I was able to park my car at the shop so they could get to it first thing Monday morning. I was working with Tom and he was so great in keeping me up to date with what was being done to diagnose the issue. Not only was he responsive and friendly but he was also honest and empathetic with what I was afraid the car needed, a new transmission that almost always comes with a hefty price. In this case, the repair would exceed the actual value of the car. He told me to think about it awhile and that I could leave my car there as long as I need until I decide what to do. I went ahead to pick up my car and was able to meet Tom in person. I had a few customers ahead of me in line, but I noticed he was just as personable to the other customers, keeping a smile the entire time speaking to everyone. I hate car repair shops but this one is fair, honest and reputable. I felt comfortable coming here and I appreciate everything Tom and his staff did to service my car. read more

Tom is great! All the Yelp reviews were correct. I dropped off using the night drop box on Sunday. He called me first thing Monday morning. He was very upfront with me about what he will and will not do with a hybrid. I appreciate his advice on servicing hybrids. He still took the car out and heard what was concerning me and called me back with 3 options. In the end, he referred me to a great shop that fabricated a fix for my exhaust pipe. Tom was so great- he called the second shop himself. I took my car to the second shop and it was fixed. I cannot recommend K&B enough.
