How many 5 Star mechanics do you see on Yelp? I had to check these guys out. My 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser had a leak in the AC system (front and rear units), as well as a clunking sound when put in gear, shifting (sometimes), as well as accelerating on flat roads. First mechanic I went to had the car for 2 days and only greased the transfer case. And he wouldn't even work on the AC because the Land Cruiser is 23 years old and and that unit HVAC system was extremely complicated. Eric from Premier Auto detected the problem immediately and gave me an estimate. Now, the AC system is running ice cold and the front axle replacements completely fixed the clunking; it's buttery smooth as it should be. It was done in like 3 days; amazing turn around time. Are they the cheapest? No, but they are competitive. The better question would be, "Are they honest, qualified, and professional? Am I getting VALUE for my money?" I am happy to say yes to all four. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP! Took my 2003 Mercedes Benz SLK 32 AMG (3.2L V6 SOHC 18V SUPERCHARGER) to another shop who found that the serpentine belt had not been secured! No tensioner! So the alternator, the water pump, the fuel pump and the power steering were not working! That was why it was baking such loud noise! Oil was a light creamy color! These guys really messed up my car! After almost 2 years of owning my vehicle, I was in need of work beyond the basics and dealer mechanic was doing too much guessing of what was wrong and my financial and time expense. A friend of mine recommended Premier to me back when they were located in Woodbrige, now they operate in a bigger garage in West Springfield. I was satisfied with the work they did on my car and the deal I got when they replaced my timing belt and water pump on my Dodge Charger. I recommended them to my friends and family. A year ago my dad brought his pick up truck to get his rear differential replaced. Erick found him a part, gave him a good deal on the job and Dad's truck has been running well since. At the beginning of this year my 2010 dodge charger transmission got flooded and shut down. Erick had my car towed to his shop and offered me options to see what's the best economical way to fix it. I ended up finding a transmission on my own, Erick was nice enough to make sure I was covered with a warranty since I ordered from an unknown seller online and he and his team did a great job installing it.
