It was around 10:00 PM, so I searched Google for the nearest repair shop and found The Car Doctor. Even though they were closing, one of the employees took the time to help me drop off my car. That alone showed me they genuinely care about their customers. The next morning, my car was fully diagnosed, and they clearly explained the issue and gave me multiple repair options without any pressure. Since replacing the transfer case is a major job, I was told it would likely take a few days. To my surprise, I received a text message the very next day around 5:00 PM saying my car was ready for pickup! I honestly couldn't believe how quickly they completed such a big repair. There have been times that I have taken my car in to them swearing that work needs to be done (used to work on my cars a lot when I was in my teens) and they would check it out and tell me,"Nope, everything looks good." About a year ago my alternator started to go so I took it in and had them replace it. Pick it up a day or two later and go on about my business. About a week later some warmer weather hit and I noticed the A/C wasn't working. Called Tim up, and he assured me that even though he was really busy he would get to it. Sure enough, he checked it out and the A/C not working was due to a connection on the new alternator. He fixed it, no charge. I also had a wheel bearing replaced there back when I first got my car. They replaced it and it started acting up again 15 months later. Even though I was three months out of their "shop warranty" they still fixed it, free of charge. I have more stories like that about these guys so I won't keep going on. I won't go to another mechanic for 50 miles.
