I'm sure I'm not the only one who's endlessly researched and even cycled through auto shops. I had an incredible experience at Exline Automotive. I needed my exhaust checked and a friend recommended this place. With low expectations, I called to inquire. I was met with a lovely individual named Liz who was very kind and warm. They patiently listened to me about the concerns with my car. Liz explained their process of scheduling, inspecting my vehicle, and potential repairs with related cost. It felt very transparent and reasonable, which I really appreciated. Liz was able to schedule me for the next day. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome and told updates about my repair would be communicated via text (see photo). They also offered a comfortable waiting room, with complimentary WiFi and an assortment of beverages. The team at Exline was able to quickly identify the issue with my exhaust, get the right part delivered within 30 minutes, and complete the repair all in under 90 minutes. I was impressed with Exline's customer service, efficiency, and quality of work. I highly recommend this shop and will return for any other car needs of mine.

First mechanic I went to had the car for 2 days and only greased the transfer case. And he wouldn't even work on the AC because the Land Cruiser is 23 years old and and that unit HVAC system was extremely complicated. Eric from Premier Auto detected the problem immediately and gave me an estimate. Now, the AC system is running ice cold and the front axle replacements completely fixed the clunking; it's buttery smooth as it should be. It was done in like 3 days; amazing turn around time. Are they the cheapest? No, but they are competitive. The better question would be, "Are they honest, qualified, and professional? Am I getting VALUE for my money?" I am happy to say yes to all four. For me as a husband and father, my family's safety is my #1 priority. I now have a trusted mechanic for our vehicles at Premier Auto. 10/10 absolutely recommend.

What do I mean by non-gouging behavior? Ever go to these large shop auto shops and come out with a $1400 estimate for simple brake pad replacement? Not at Matt Wright Automotive. Matt only charges you for services you need. If it is a larger expense, he gives you an estimate and warning before he charges the service. Specifically, he could have added another increase for a wheel alignment, but after checking the system refrained from an extra charge - just because he is a complete honest broker. It is to the point now, that I don't even ask Matt to call me before he does repairs so I don't waste his time. When I go to Wright automotive, I simply drop the car off and do so in a haggle free environment. My conversations simply go like "Here it is Matt - let me know how much I owe you when it's done." I highly recommend that folks, check Wright automotive out! This place is a diamond. But please don't waste his time with the 'several estimates' game. Just be rest assured he will be more than fair, and you will thank this review later. Customer: Mark.

When I got the car back after $5500 worth of work, it didn't seem to be running quite right. I gave it a little bit and then started noticing an oil leak. I brought it back in and they reluctantly agreed to keep it to look it over. I didn't get a call back so they next day I called them and they told me "oh, we found a slipped seal so we fixed it, nothing we did wrong". Ok, cool. But my car was still not acting right and felt like it wasn't getting enough gas or power at first start up. It literally stalled on me twice when I first started it shifting into park. . I brought it back again and after convincing them to take a look at it, they told me nothing was wrong with the vehicle. They basically told me that looking over it would be a waste of their time and that the computer system takes a little while to catch up once "that much work" is done on a vehicle. Ok. Well, I guess I feel after that extensive of engine work, it should not be stalling out on me without explanation. So no, I will not be going back and will not recommend this place. How disappointing.

I left my previous mechanic because of this constant attempting to overcharge me. I was so happy when I found Merv's. I thought they did good work and were honest. I was wrong. I brought my car to Merv's for service. I provided my own materials. My bill should have been around $30-$40. I was shocked when I looked at my bill. It was more than double what it should have been. I asked why it was so much. Merv, who was sitting in the front office began to squirm and told me it was because a wheel balance and tire rotation was performed. I immediately asked if it had actually been performed. I did not request that to be done. Rather than correct the invoice, Merv asked me if I wanted a credit. Really? You overcharge a customer and then ask if they want a credit. I was told that I had already received a discount because I provided my own materials. So, to recap, buying my own parts and not allowing a shop to overcharge me for materials is considered a discount. That's interesting....what Merv calls a discount is called fraud under Virginia state law. Buyer beware. The attempted gouge was far more expensive to Merv than he imagined. You have been warned.
