I flocked to this place because the "original" price per gallon was significantly lower compared to other places. However, I received a wake up call once I selected the credit card/debit card option on the pump. Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. I rode in one Saturday on a spare tire after getting a flat while on a campus. Ugh...a Saturday in College Park MD! My wife was taking an art class so I had to deal with the tire replacement while she was in classs. These old fellas have probably worked in this station since the late 70's/early 80's. No problems...swaped out my tire for a new one and I was gone within an hour. Also, if you're getting more extensive repairs or an oil change, there is Plato's Diner within a short walking distance next door. Highly recommended if you're in a bind.

The tire wall had a quarter sized hole, so repair was impossible. They recommended Hamid's service center at the Shell station across the street. I actually drove the car a little more than a block very slowly on the rim. Hamid amazed me finding tires for a subcompact car in less than a day. It always takes us a couple of days to get tired even at PEPBoys or the dealership. The morning after talking with Hamid, my car was ready. Price was very reasonable. My husband was shocked. We thought we'd be without a car for the better part of a week with a heavy bill. Incredibly fast, efficient service at a reasonable price. Great experience.
