They said the affected rear brake was fine but needed rear 2 shocks. So they replaced those. I rotated the 4 tires myself a week later(they were right in that I need to replace them in the near future and saved me $40 not rotating them at that time). I thought the tire they looked at with the parking brake issue would come off easily. However it was frozen in place(an issue with aluminum rims connected to steel axels) pretty common. I had to sledgehammer the tire off. WhenI called to ask how come the tire was so hard to get off after only a week they said it was due to the tire being rusted on. Wish I could give a three and a half stars. They did give me a ride to the metro gratis. A good value no doubt but caveat emptor.

Handed the clerk a $20 and he said he could not make the change. I was a little surprised considering they sell lottery tickets. I said fine and asked for my $20 back. The clerk acted disgusted and peeled off the tickets anyway. Then in a totally disrespectful tone he said who uses $20's on Sundays? I said please just give me my money back. He refused since he had already peeled the tickets. Then he said, again in a nasty tone, "I am a gas station not a bank" I apologized and left. I try very hard to be respectful and kind in these challenging times. I cannot remember when someone talked to me like that. I also have done very few negative Yelp reviews since the start of the pandemic but this was just un called for.

I was getting the runaround from the dealership (yet again) and enduring poor quality work from other stations....finally got fed up and brought my car here (for the tire repair mentioned below), after remembering how nice Navy, the cashier and owner's wife, had always been when I bought gas... College Park Auto Service quickly fixed my tire on the spot (which the dealership said I needed to have replaced, as well as all my other tires...I had replaced all four tires about a year ago...I mean, really?!!) College Park Auto also quickly repaired a right turn signal light which had been acting up for over a year (and which both the dealership and other auto repair places had not been able to figure out...) My right turn signal is now working normally, after a simple and inexpensive fix by College Park Auto---YAY!!! Thank goodness for this place, and for the awesome and humble mechanics here, especially Tek (and Navy is super funny and friendly)....This is my go-to place from now on for all my car maintenance and repairs (except body work, which they don't do).... Super grateful for businesses like these!

D and D Tire was the only tire service center that had same day appointment with 0 wait time and had the exact tires I needed. They were efficient and were honest with their prices (comparably to everywhere else). They replaced the tire within 2 hours! Appreciated their friendly demeanor. As an Asian woman who doesn't know much about cars, I'm always scared of getting ripped off (had a few bad experiences at Toyota dealerships where ppl tried to charge me $1000 for oil change...) but the staff at D and D tire are so nice. They didn't charge me for disposing my ripped tire and even helped my friend (who drove me in to pick up my car) fill up her air for free.

The vibration in the front that I was feeling had to do with the unevenness of the tires. Figured that out about a week ago after some front end work which I thought would solve the problem. Bought three tires and two gently used rims off eBay (that look new) and these guys mounted everything for $25 a tire. They swapped the rubber off another tire and put it on the old rim for my spare....so that's 4 tires, one with no mounting. $75 for everything. Some companies will charge you up to $75 PER TIRE. Love these dudes. Even tipped the guy that did the work some lunch money. Waiting on the alignment now since they don't open up until 9a on the that side of the house. Alignment done. $70. $145 and less than 2 hours for the whole process + ate breakfast. There was a Colombian gentleman named "Leonardo" selling chicken arepas in the parking lot ....and they were GOOD ASF! Go figure. I've had arepas before and they weren't particularly good, but this gentleman had a juicy flavorful (breast meat) one on the PERFECT corn pattie. All he needed on it with some jalapenos or some kind of heat. He sold from his car, barely spoke English and didn't have a business card, but I'll be sure to catch up with him at the Home Depot in College Park where he says he normally is selling his food. Funny how I didn't understand him until he let me smell his arepa. Food is a universal language. What a terrific Saturday morning!!! I've done a mechanical review and a food review all at once lol.

Everyone is nice there's no pressure. I legit just walk in say what I need take a seat and rest my feet. It's kind of easy to miss off of Rt. 1 but it's definitely worth the stop. They're the best priced around. I drive from Laurel for this particular shop. I've tried two others which are 15-20 more. If you need used tires or new tires this is a great place to buy.

I don't trust this place at all. In Oct 2024, I was informed by my dealership that I needed to…read morereplace my front two tires soon (it's been five years at this point that I have been driving them) and my tire pressure light came on. On March 1st 2025, I came to Tangah and they replaced my front two tires for $180. I was informed they were both new tires. On August 23rd, 2025 I was driving super early in the morning like 5am and my tire pressure light came on AGAIN. Soon after, my left tire was FLAT!!! Luckily my brothers were with me and put air in my tires. I was able to drive home safely with no issues. I went back to Tangah that evening and was like oh time to replace my other two 5 year old tires. They informed me that the tire that was flat was the tire they had given me back in March. Now back in June, I went to my dealership for an oil change, tire alignment and rotation. I was under the impression my old five year old tires needed to be replaced. So you can image I WAS LIVID that my new tires from March that I just spent $180 on were having issues. They put air in all my tires and told me I probably drove over something that knock the tire pressure and I should keep driving on it. If I continue to have issues I should come back. I'm a busy person. I came back this month - November 2025 and told them the tire pressure light still won't go away, it's getting colder and darker and I don't want any issues with my car and I'm stuck. I informed the man I know the issues is the tire and they needed to replace them. This man laughed in my face telling me there's nothing they can do. It's not their tires. I told him I didn't agree bc in March when I had replaced my tires the tire pressure light went away. I told him I know my car and believe the light is indicative of needing to replace my tires and the tires are no good. He refused and said I needed to pay for the tires and said I could go to wherever I wanted but no matter what I do it's the sensor and they would just resell the tires I have. I don't appreciate the way he talked to me and took advantage of my gender and car knowledge. I believe they sold me used tires for the price of new tires and these tires are no good. This place is full of it and I told them I will be back to prove them right ESPECIALLY if I continue to have issues with these tires!!!! Until then, I am going to continue to drive on these tires until my next oil change when I know my dealership will tell me they need to be replace, I get them replace and the TPSI is gone.
