Highly recommended place. My front tire ripped open (don't ask). D and D Tire was the only tire service center that had same day appointment with 0 wait time and had the exact tires I needed. They were efficient and were honest with their prices (comparably to everywhere else). They replaced the tire within 2 hours! Appreciated their friendly demeanor. As an Asian woman who doesn't know much about cars, I'm always scared of getting ripped off (had a few bad experiences at Toyota dealerships where ppl tried to charge me $1000 for oil change...) but the staff at D and D tire are so nice. They didn't charge me for disposing my ripped tire and even helped my friend (who drove me in to pick up my car) fill up her air for free. read more

They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff who do their best for you. I bought a set of tires from them a couple of years ago and they were reasonably priced including installation. Two years later I blew one of those tires out when I ran over sharp object. They replaced it with a tire that was almost the same since the previous model was no longer made. No worries, it was close enough. The new tire was more expensive than the previous ones, but I chalked that up to inflation and it being a slightly different model. Both times they changed the tires while I waited, which was great. Today they changed my front brakes and rotors. I didn't expect it to be $500, but that's what it costs these days I guess. $240 of it was labor even though I think they got it done in about an hour. I dropped it off at 7 am when they open and they called me at about 2 pm to let me know they were about to begin. Then they called me at about 3 pm to let me know they were done. I was hoping it would be about $100 less than it was, but at least I know they did the job well and used good parts. All in all, they aren't the cheapest place, but they will do the job right. They are very trustworthy and won't screw you around. I wish they did appointments, but even though they don't, they will most likely have your car ready the same day. Highly recommended for tires and brakes. read more

They charged $240 per tire when it costs average $175 everywhere else. So this place is 37% more expensive per tire. If you're in a pinch, this place will fix your tires quickly but at a much higher cost. read more

These folks are professionals of the highest order. I needed a new rim/new tires, and brought my car in at 7:30a, and had it back by 4:30. When I called, the phone was answered promptly with a kind voice, and they told me to come on in. The waiting area is pristine, free wifi, and a Keurig! The work is excellent, and my car is driving very well. I was called multiple times to keep me apprised of the status of the work, and the people with whom I worked, from intake to checkout, were professional, kind and organized. I don't hope to have to be back soon, but I know where I'm going/recommending people to go! read more

I needed new tires desperately this past summer so I shopped around a bit before stopping in here. The gentlemen at the front desk greeted me immediately. He asked all the proper questions about size and price then gave me the options. He even let me know about rebates associated with the options presented and some I might've wanted to consider. Another thing I appreciated was having the pricing list available on a board behind the counter. You get the sense that the place is legit and they're not just making up prices as they go along. I stopped by too late to have the service completed but he let me know I could come back first thing in the morning and hop in the queue. I returned, got the tires, rebate information and was on my way. A couple weeks later I noticed the pressure in my tires changed, likely due to fluctuating temperatures. They checked out the pressure and all was well again. I'd definitely recommend this place. Everyone was helpful and friendly. read more

Just became a customer here and will be returning. I had a nail in my run-flat and knew I was in trouble. Called these guys to find out if they could take my car in on the same day and they said to bring it over. They were really nice on the phone and in person when I arrived. They told me it would take no more than an hour so I waited in their lobby and helped myself to complimentary coffee. They came back in 45 with my car ready to go. They had patched the tire for $35. I came in today and was pleased with the tire service (including not too long of a wait), but here's why I feel compelled to give this place only one star: There's a sign on the door saying that everyone who enters the building (i.e., the reception/waiting area) must have a facial covering. Great! As you'd expect due to COVID-19. However, one of the workers behind the desk had his mask covering only his chin. His mouth and nose were completely exposed as he spoke at length with customers. I observed this when I checked in and again when I checked out. Moreover, while I was waiting outside for my car to be finished, I saw someone go into the building with no mask on and he came out several minutes later with no mask. read more

Courteous and professional. My car was vibrating in the rear when it reached speeds of 60+ MPH. They told me this was most likely due to a balancing issue. Brought my car in and they balanced my tires and called back a few hours later to have me pick up. read more

D&D is my go-to place. I drive about 30 minutes out from DC to get to them because their service is immaculate, they are professional, courteous and helpful. The prices are reasonable, the service is quick, and they will help you make the decision that is best of you. I recent damaged the rim to my tire, they immediately let me know that installing a tire on that rim would be unsafe, they looked up the price of a new rim/wheel and it was upwards of $700 (thank you Mercedes)! They recommended a wheel job near by where they could possibly fix it and save me that money, I did so and it worked out great. Very grateful to these men for that, they could have easily said "$700, pay up!" but they are trustworthy and all-round quality men. Thanks D&D! read more

If you need car service in the DC/MD area, GO TO D&D. They carry Goodyear tires, which are the best, so your quote might be slightly more than others in Maryland (probably not more expensive than DC)--but they are so worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly and good at their jobs. I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm a first time customer and they treated me extremely well. My tires were in terrible shape, and the first 3 tire shops I went to were either too expensive or didn't have my tires. I got to D&D just before they closed. They told me they don't usually take customers that close to closing, but they made an exception since my tires were so bad. They changed my two flat tires in less than 20mins, and they were SO nice to me--considering I asked them to stay later than they normally do. Quick, friendly, competent, and the price was fair. You can't ask for anything else out of a company. D&D if you're reading this: Jonathan and Belinda were especially great today! I will come back to this location and highly recommend it. read more

Have used their service before and had excellent service and results. Excellent service today as far as my car was concerned. However, I noted at least 8 employees who were not wearing masks. I arrived there a little after they opened and only one person (desk person) was wearing a mask. Two employees had their masks on their chins (not covering there noses). Office lady came out to get coffee. No mask! I complained to the young man helping me. I was there almost an hour and no one put on a mask (not even the manager!). Housekeeping guy had no mask. No one was wearing a mask. I felt like I was in a room full of coronavirus! I wanted to go home and take a shower, but I had to go to work. Sad, sad, sad. Some people just don't get it! read more

Was heading home from D.C. last Friday evening and got a flat tire on I-95 near Beltsville, MD. Frustrating thing was, I had planned to have 4 new tires put on my car that Monday in Jersey and I only had a doughnut that was good for 50 miles. After getting the doughnut mounted, I checked into a hotel and started looking on Yelp for a place to get a new tire. Saw D&D on Yelp with all the 5 star reviews and decided to try it. Needless to say, they did not disappoint!! Worked with Allen Seaforth; very knowledgeable and very professional. Spoke with Allen at 7:30 AM, got to D&D at 8:15 and was on the road by just after 9:00. Was comfortable and impressed with Allen and his team from my initial contact that I decided to have all 4 tires replaced. And because I changed my mind Allen gave me a 10% discount on my purchase!! The guys at D&D are pretty awesome. Real chill, knowledgeable folks. Apparently I had the wrong oil in my R/T Charger for some reason and they let me know that I need that full synthetic, potentially saving my engine and performance. I have been to D&D twice now to replace tires and I never thought I'd say this about a tire place, but ... I love it there! Everyone who works there is really friendly and professional. It is neat and tidy with plenty of magazines to read as you wait, a Keurig coffee machine, and they even offered coloring books and crayons to some little boys who were waiting with their dad. I've had nothing but positive experiences at D & D. I got a flat tire on a day I had to drive out of town for a friend's wedding and D & D was one of the only places open on a Saturday morning. They quickly replaced my tire without an appointment and got me on my way. I came back again when I hit a nail and again they quickly patched my tire and even gave me a discount because I had bought a tire there before. Based on the great service and friendly staff I decided to get an oil change and replace my brakes at D & D. Again, quick service, reasonable rates, friendly staff, and they don't try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need. They are now my go-to car place. I'm do glad to have found a trust worthy, affordable place to get my car serviced. Also they have a pleasant waiting room and every staff I've encountered has been nice and helpful. Please Skip them!!! They are incompetent and unprofessional. Go to where people say exactly what they mean!!! I was there roughly 3 weeks back to check my tire sensors and see why my tire pressure light keeps coming on despite the tires having the right pressure, they checked and assured me the sensors were fine but that air was leaking out from one of the tires because the rim was not sealed to the tire properly, I asked them to fix it which the lady at the front desk claimed they did and she even asked me to come back if the same problem persists, I thereafter paid for the service rendered and left. 3 days later, pressure lights come on again without any deflated tires and i also noticed my right front tire was sort of wriggling when driving on the highway. I went back to D &D days later with this complaints to see what was going on, the lady at the from desk (Belinda Johnson) who happened to be the one who attended to me the last time asked me to sit and wait for them to check the problem out, she comes back after about 30 mins to tell me all the sensors were fine AGAIN! but that they had to take the car for a ride on the beltway to test the wriggling front right tire i had complained of. She comes back after about 20 mins claiming the sensor on the front right tire is broken and that this is what caused the wriggling sound! i asked about the other sensors on the other tires again and she says they were fine, i now request the broken one be replaced immediately because i had to leave before 2pm to pick my daughter from school, She now comes back to tell me after a few minutes that the rim on that front right tire where the sensor is to be replaced is also broken, i told her i could not replace the rim that day as i was in a hurry and did not budget for it. She calls and gives me my keys at almost 2pm and reassured me the tire pressure light will stay off except there is a flat tire, I pay and walk out the door to the car and start it only for me to see the tire pressure light on again! i rush back in to complain, the lady comes out with me saying "oh its now the sensor on the left front tire that is bad" i asked her how that came about when only just a few minutes ago she had assured me all was well that the lights will stay off except i had a leak! she now goes "oh the guy who changed the sensor gave her that information right after i had paid and stepped out" all this without empathy or an apology! Totally lame, Incompetent and unprofessional. All they should have done from the outset was tell me did not know what the problem was with my car tires and saved me time and money, which i would have appreciated. I left there angry but called back to talk to the manager to complain about my experience and all he could tell me dismissively was that he would look into it and call me back. Imagine! I told him where they all needed to go with their incompetent behinds. I definitely will not be going back there, neither will i recommend them to anyone. read more

One of my tires failed on my 2015 Ford Transit. The nail was actually in the sidewall and could not be repaired. They had an excellent tire in stock and at a fair price! The Transit has a relatively uncommon Commercial Grade tire, and he was helpful in explaining which tire belonged on the vehicle. Great tire shop! read more

I blew out two of my tires the night before i was supposed to drive up to New York, and they really worked hard to make sure I was able to leave for my trip on time. Even though they didn't have the tires I needed in stock, they sent someone to a nearby warehouse right away to get them. With the 45 minute trip to and from the outside warehouse, I was out of there in about an hour and a half. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and made a bad situation a little easier. read more
