After they placed my wheels on they then told me that all of my sensors were no good and that it would cost $1750 to replace each sensor. The problem there, the system worked just fine before taking it in for them to service. Understand that my uncle is a mechanic, he just doesn't like servicing toes. When I told him what happened, he told me they must have damaged my TPSM system and gave me that price so they wouldn't have to repair it. I believe he is right because the cost for each ranges from $25-$110 depending on Mopar or after market parts. I will NEVER go to this business again and warn anyone who chooses to.

About a week ago I took my truck in to have the frozen parking brake checked…read more It has a lot of miles on it so due to the cost I had them just disconnect the parking brake cable. They said the affected rear brake was fine but needed rear 2 shocks. So they replaced those. I rotated the 4 tires myself a week later(they were right in that I need to replace them in the near future and saved me $40 not rotating them at that time). I thought the tire they looked at with the parking brake issue would come off easily. However it was frozen in place(an issue with aluminum rims connected to steel axels) pretty common. I had to sledgehammer the tire off. WhenI called to ask how come the tire was so hard to get off after only a week they said it was due to the tire being rusted on. Wish I could give a three and a half stars. They did give me a ride to the metro gratis. A good value no doubt but caveat emptor.

Anyhow, today was my first time ever using their service station for a suspected leak in one of my car's tires. I went inside the mini store to ask if it could be seen today, preferably within that moment. The attendant was accepting and prompt with my request and told me to move my car around to one of the bays to be seen. I asked if appointments were generally required and he said they were but accepted my last minute request. A tech came out no later than 5 minutes of waiting in my car and inspected the entire tire for the problem. He brought out some tools, an air hose and within 10 minutes he came around to tell me that he found the nail causing the leak, patched it up, refilled the tire's PSI and charged me $10. All within a matter of minutes. I had originally scheduled an appointment to take my car to it's dealership to be seen but after my spouse reminded me of how long the wait could've been and how much I could've been charged, I cancelled the appointment and went locally to this respectful gas station shop. Honest work and people, more than reasonable pricing, and efficient work, all in a very timely manner. Thanks, Mobil of Bowie.

At this time (June 25th), I was informed that my engine was no longer viable--a fact that was not disclosed to me during either visit, despite extensive diagnostics and repairs. On June 13, I was charged $875.64 for a range of services including ignition coil replacement, synthetic oil change, and tire rotation. Then, on June 23, I returned due to continued issues and was charged an additional $396.42 for a valve cover gasket replacement, which would supposedly address the engine issue. The technician noted oil in the spark plugs and a leak from the valve cover gasket, yet failed to inform me that these symptoms likely indicated a more serious engine failure. Had I been properly informed of the engine's condition during the first visit--or even the second--I would not have authorized further repairs. The lack of transparency and failure to diagnose the core issue resulted in unnecessary expenses and lost time. Save your time and money and choose a different mechanic. I am utterly disappointed after patronizing this shop for the last two years. Do better.
