Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. He told us that it was not safe to drive, and that the repair would cost $1,600, including parts (rotors and brake pads). My brother-in-law, who has experience with cars, took it to another mechanic. The other mechanic told us that the car could be safetly driver for another month. In addition, he referred us to parts which would make the total repair cost around $500. This Sunoco is not the place to get work done. Victor is a thief, and attempted to swindle us out of a large amount of money. Depressing.

I was pumping in gas and throwing away trash items off the floor of my car and a person who appears to be the owner walks out and says that the trash can is not for trash. He clarifies and says it's not for personal trash and only for the trash from items bought from the convenience store. I explained that I did not know and most gas stations put trash cans at each pump for customers to throw their items away. I suggested that if that is his policy, since it seems to be an exception to the norm, he should put up a sign. He then responded by saying that the gas station is private property and he doesn't need to put a sign. He asked if I put a sign on my trash can at my house to make his point. I told him that my home does not provide services to the public so there is no need for that. He continued to say it was private property. I then said I was sorry and that I was not aware that the trash cans are solely for store-bought items and that I will be taking my business elsewhere. The prices aren't great anyway and with such terrible service priding itself over it's "private property" stance, I'd take your business elsewhere and support people who pride themselves for providing services to the public/community.

He said my tire sizes are not correct for my vehicle because for him, on my old tires, there's a V at the end. While on the new tires, we have H 102. That is the reason why the tires can't fit, he said. ‍. He does not know that those numbers are simply the load, the speed of tires. V simply gives you higher speed than H. That's so terrible that he does not know that simple thing. He told me to reorder my tires for no reason.... Here I am with the same tires at PepBoys, and the mechanic is replacing the same tires with no issues at all. Well, I am just saying, so you know at least what kind of mechanic you'll deal with when you decide to go there....
