The previous mechanic was beloved in the community, and change always makes folks a bit uneasy. As an avid Yelper, I usually need a few glowing reviews before trying a new spot. But this time, I just drove in and hoped for the best. And you know what? I'm so glad I did. The new owner greeted me personally and reassured me they'd take good care of my vehicle. They put my car up on the lift, and--yep--my worst fears were confirmed: both rotors and pads needed replacing. But here's the thing--Eddie, the mechanic, not only fixed my brakes, he also took care of a tire that had a nail in it *free of charge.* Talk about going above and beyond. They treated me like a valued customer from the moment I walked in, and more importantly, they earned my *trust.* That's not easy to do these days, but Cloverly Citgo did it. Maraj is a SCAM ARTIST!!! This was a horrifying experience. My vehicle was running normally before I brought it in for what should have been a routine oil change. After the service, my car was performing significantly worse and became difficult to drive home safely. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service I received and the condition in which my vehicle was returned to me. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business and encourage customers to carefully inspect their vehicles after any work is completed. read more

I stopped in for gas very early in the morning. This place was very clean and well lit for a service station . Also it was conveniently next to a 7-11 my favorite spot off the early morning you can't beat that lol. read more

The people here are so pleasant. I went to tires plus to get a bulb changed and they wanted to charge me $100 for the labor and the bulb was only $5. So, I ended up here. They were very friendly and helpful. They gladly changed it for me for probably $12. I always experience good service here and I recommend this place. read more

This review is for the new ownership. Manager Tom was very friendly and professional. He took a quick look as I requested it to him ( my car didn't start earlier that day). I went back next morning , he already got the part and replaced it in an hour as he promised me. Staffs were also very friendly, much cleaner and nicer than before. Finding an honest mechanic is like discovering buried treasure. The owner (Thu, pronounced "two") has been a mechanic for decades. He's not in the business of selling you unnecessary repairs or marking up prices on parts. In fact, when he says that you need a repair, he'll remove the broken part, place it in the box that the new part came in, and hand it over to you as proof! His prices are extremely reasonable, often considerably cheaper than what you'll find at the dealer. In fact, don't even bother to take to the dealer (unless it's a warranty repair); take it straight to Thu and he'll make sure you're taken care of. We completely trust him with ALL of our car repair and maintenance needs. Tu has worked on four different cars for us over a 15 year period. He is honest and is open about telling you his recommendation. He has done both maintenance and repairs to brakes, exhaust and minor engine repairs. I haven't used him for tires. He has done excellent work for us through at least 30 different repair/tune up services. He keeps to his quotes and delivers on time. I live nearby and have used Cloverly Citgo several times for repair work. I've always found them to be very reasonably priced and they don't try and tell me I need things that I don't. The owner Mr Tu is very honest. It's nice to have a place you can trust nearby. The gas isn't the cheapest around but then again it's not the most expensive either. read more
