I took the wife's car through for a #1 car wash (supposed to be the best they offer). Not sure if I noticed a difference between the less expensive one I've gotten in the past. The vacuuming was mediocre and the windows still had water dripping off of them. Bottom line- it is quicker than doing it myself and it contributes to a business that is a big part of the community, which I like and appreciate. I would recommend coming here for this and the other services they offer which are; gas, snacks, automotive, and FREE air which is almost unheard of these days! This place is cool! They have a tunnel and drive your car through with people cleaning it on the inside! I have a bike rack and they wouldn't wash my car because of it! Water is everywhere whenever someone finishes washing. read more

This location has a gas station, convenience store, auto repair shop and a car wash. All are convenient and walking distance within each other. I have visited all except the service center. Normally, I come here to get gas and at times get my vehicle washed. The folks I have dealt with are friendly and very helpful. The gas station is always well lit and is open 24 hours. If you go to get gas and know that you want to get your vehicle washed as well, you can get a discount for the car wash at the pumps. They also have an air pump station and a vacuum station as well. Convenience store has sodas, chips, candy and sandwiches among other things and that is opened during the same hours as the gas station. They have a deli there too, but I don't know the hours for that. You can enter/exit the station from both Spartan Road and Georgia Avenue. I like coming to this location, but even more recently because I get Fuel Points that I earn from shopping at Harris Teeter and can use them as discounts toward the purchase of gas at any BP, so I come here for that. read more

Overpriced and poor quality. The car wash is a joke they hardly wipe anything down. Only reason they're still in business is bc they're the only full service car wash in the area. I have talked with the new manager from Fletchers car repair. They have replaced the old manager who was terrible! They seem to be on the right track. The old manager never supervised his employees. I love some of the services they provide. Free air for tires is hard to find these days. They also replace bulbs for free during the weekends. I usually tip the young men that provide this service. I have been taking my car to this car wash and station forever since they're a staple in our community. However, after today they will not be my choice for car care any longer. I bought gas and a deluxe wash ($28), filled my tank and drove my car over to get washed. My car had smudges on the hood from getting body work done as I had hit a dear a few weeks back. I told the staff to scrub it good so the surges would come off. I could wipe it off with my finger, so it would have come off with a little elbow grease! Needless to say after the wash the smudges were still there. I was told the smudges were wax, which they were not! I even showed them it could be removed with my finger...NOTHING! I get in my car after leaving a $10 tip in the tip container and the console is completely covered in the same dust that was there prior to the aforementioned car wash which was to be interior and exterior. Typically I don't review gas stations unless there's something that makes them exceptional. I had an exceptional experience at their car wash the other day - so much so that I thought geez I really need to review them on yelp! I got the $28 deluxe wash and asked if they could pop the hood and trunk to remove the leaves and other tree debris that gets stuck in those nooks and crannies thanks to the ancient tree I park under. They did an INCREDIBLE job and my car looks good as new. Super happy with their work! I've never actually asked them to do this before so now I know. That being said, Fletcher's has been my go car wash spot for many years over the course of several cars. I've given other places a try but they're my favorite. In my experience your best bet is the deluxe. I've tried the next step down (second most expensive) and haven't been as pleased with the results. It might not be the best place for a weekly wash if that's what you're into but it's definitely worth the extra money every month or two for the full on deluxe. Just be sure to tell them about any particular concerns and they'll take care of you. read more

I was at the light at Georgia Ave and Rte 108 when the battery light on my 2011 Honda Pilot suddenly came on. I proceeded to turn on to eastbound 108 and the car was bucking and surging. It was basically undrivable, but I managed to limp into Fletchers. I told them what happened and they thought it might be the alternator. They said that it would a few days before they could look at it, because of the volume of work they had already booked. However, the next day they managed to confirm their diagnosis and gave me a price that I agreed to. The next day I got my car back with a new alternator and battery and the car runs great. I couldn't be happier with their work and the price I paid was less than they quoted. How often does that happen? read more

I brought my car to Fletcher's needing a new muffler and exhaust pipe and some other hardware like hangers. They checked it out and gave me an estimate. It was significantly cheaper than the estimate by a shop on Rockville Pike (a national brand, franchised locally) $900 cheaper ! ! However they didnt have the muffler in stock and it would take 2 days to get it. So I brought the car home, brought it back today, and they did the work. The staff is easy to work with, appear to be very efficient and focused. Be aware that most shops seem to charge for the actual exam of your car which I guess is the labor cost. It was $80.00 which seemed fair to me, maybe partly because I had just saved $900 by coming to Fletchers. Their labor charge is $109 per hour, compared to the other place which charge $155. So I still feel very satisfied with the cost and service of this shop. read more

I go out of my way to get gas from Fletcher's. They have great staff, and great service. Along with the gas station, they have a fantastic car wash with incredibly thorough staff that take great care of your vehicle (TIP: You can get a car wash at a discount, if you pay for it at the pump first!). I will be trying out their detail shop this Spring and will update my review accordingly. My absolute favorite thing about this location has to be the fact that they do not charge for air. Terrible car wash. In my opinion, the price is high but the service is half-assed (excuse my language.) Speed over quality. I paid for an in and out car wash and the car came out at rapid speed. The only problem was the dashboard was still dusty and didn't appear to be vacuumed. I have also left before where the guys did a terrible job drying and the car was covered in streaks. As far as the station goes, it has a spacious gas pump area, a small convenience store which you can order freshly made items from a limited menu, and an auto shop. To Hell with this business from here, on out. I tip, VIGOROUSLY at the car wash, and maybe spend almost $200 a month during the fair weather months. With that said, I was kicked out of line, and as I was waiting, one of the staff moved the cone and a "sorry we're closed" sign in front of my vehicle. I had a problem with my tire on my car, the tire pressure light kept coming on even after i refilled it with air. I decided to stop in here without an appointment. They were very friendly and quick they said a nail was in the tire. They said they could fix it without having to get a new tire, i am sure other places would have told me i need a new tire and charged a big price. However i really appreciate their honesty. They take care of you immediately, I came for a nail in my tire and come in the office tell them and he says I'll be there with u, right away he comes out tells me there is a nail in your tire and its fixed...wow!!! Lousy Service expensive, slow AAA emergency road service towed my pickup there because it was closest approved shop. Huge mistake. The shop was closed, so I called the next day. Some grouch who picked up the phone was unhelpful. I had to make an appointment a week in the future to get my truck repaired (they hold your vehicle ransom). The repair was done correctly, but the bill was huge for a front brake job. They did not honor the 10% AAA discount (tough luck buddy if you want your car, pay up). I am torn with this review because I love the Olney BP station and car wash so much. I am hoping this is an opportunity where constructive criticism is welcomed for continued growth. My parents have been coming here for years to get gas and get their cars washed and whenever I am in town I try to get one here. The car wash is really the only one of its kind within a 15 mile radius. I recently stopped by this weekend for a wash and was extremely disappointed with the quality. I purchased a #1 which is a deluxe wash inside and out including tire shine. For paying $28, I expect there to be minimal dirt/dust and streaks left behind after the wash but unfortunately that's not what I got. When my car was done, I had blue streaks all over my doors from the dried up soap solution, evidence that my car was not wiped down properly after the wash. The inside of my doors weren't wiped down and the area where my mats lay were barely vacuumed. It's extremely disappointed as I know the quality that used to be provided. It seems as though they are more interested in churning out a large number of washes versus providing each and every customer with a quality service. I really hope this changes as I would hate for my money to go somewhere else, especially since this local business holds a special place in my heart. read more

This is my favorite gas station in the area. BP usually has the best gas prices especially with my rewards discount. I can count on this station to be open when I need it and it's never too overcrowded. It doesn't matter what time of night I visit I always feel safe at this location. The attendants are usually alert and when I go inside they are always friendly. The location is convenient and has a car wash that is frequently used during warmer months. There's also a repair shop right next to the gas station. I often see customers getting air for their tires too. Overall I prefer to use BP as compared to the other surrounding stations. read more

I love Fletcher's. I've loved it since it was a tiny gas station, and now it's a big, huge (for Olney, anyway) complex of auto repair and gasoline LOVE. Sounds nice, doesn't it? I personally do not go to Fletcher's to interact with the Olney glitterati so much as I do for one simple reason: Green Mountain Hazelnut Cream coffee, friends. So good. It is always perfect. And the cream - real half & half - comes out of the cool machine that also dispenses milk if that's your pleasure. The breakfast sandwiches aren't bad either - not a healthy choice, but if you're coming to a gas station for nutrition? I just really can't even discuss that with you. Otherwise, the snack shop is huge and has just about every convenience store beverage option that must exist in the universe, if I'm speaking expansively. They sell ice cream and in the summer you can grab some and sit at one of the tables on the side of the building. And as far as all that car stuff goes, they have a full-service car wash and a self-serve "detailing center" that I really should hit up because my chariot, it is in need of some cleaning up. My mother gets her car serviced here on occasion and it sounds like they're always helpful and efficient. I haven't had any work done here for years. Some of the same people work here who worked here when they had to sit in the little booth outside. Always friendly. And if you have a special event to recognize for someone in your life, inquire within: they're always wishing someone a happy birthday or anniversary on the board out by Georgia Avenue. When my former boss got his name on the sign, he was quite overcome, poor man. Took a picture with it and everything. The main reason i come to Fletcher's is not for gas or auto service but for their car wash. I am usually more than happy with the wash and being an onsite contractor, I like to keep a clean car at all times for myself and for my clients. I recently discovered that Fletchers as an unlimited wash plan for $39-$59 a month. $39/month for deluxe exterior (or $18 per visit) or $59/month for deluxe in and out (or $26/visit). The value is incredible because I go at least once a week. Its amazing because I pass through the area often and I can take my car in whenever I think about it to get it fully cleaned up. Because I'm usually passing through during work hours, the line is never that bad and the guys take great care of my car. As i said, generally the guys do a great job with vacuuming, wash and dry but occasionally they reoutinely miss spots like the top edge portion of your window, your trunk or even just scrubbing in between wheel spokes. I would say I never get the same wash every time, but it's never an unsatisfactory job, I just wish it was a little more consistent from visit to visit. Other than that, completely happy with the guys that run it and the great service I get every time. My car looks awesome all the time. The outside is fine, but it doesn't even looks like they touched the inside. The interior wasn't properly vacuumed or wiped down of debris.
