Worst auto repair in the area. Brought my car to repair only the brakes, that's all. And then, my car was presenting many issues. They loose a screw so I have to change the suspension and other parts. I took it back and they had the face to tell me that they did it. They adjusted it and magically my car was working right again. (no charged) After that, they told me the car has many other things to fix. And eventually, the car started with other problems. My mechanic came back from his travel, he checked it and so he adjusted and fix all the peaces that they ruined. So disappointed, I ended paying around $900 in that place just to get my car with things it didn't have. Wish there were something to protect people from places like this one. read more

I should've listened to the reviews. I took my car to get a state inspection here. I was asked to drop it off first thing in the morning to be the first person serviced. I dropped the car off at opening to which I was told it would take 2 hours to get my car back. It ended up being 6 hours, I went to the facility after 3 and the guy said he took my car to another shop after fumbling his words stating the man had to pick up his kid during test driving my car. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! When I finally got my car back it went from running perfectly fine to having all my instrument lights coming on for maintenance, then after doing whatever damage they did to my car they failed me on the inspection and quoted me $1500 to fix it. You are going to waste your money to have the guy jack your car and charge and arm and leg to fix what they break. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

CONSUMER ALERT! If I could give this place a zero rating I would. So on 2/17/25 sometime after 6:15pm but way before 7:30pm my mother-in-law and her husband, a Navy veteran, stopped by this place. They stopped here on behalf of my wife as her Volvo was having issues. Mom and her hubby just replaced the battery prior and were seeing a weird message. They took it on a test drive and the car warned them they needed to pull over ASAP basically. They stopped at the Liberty and spoke to the manager there of the mechanics. He looks at my friends USA Navy hat, and proceeds to tell him he should know better because Volvo is a German car. The manager then proceeds to tell them to just drive around and give the car time to recognize the battery, let the car run a bit longer. They drove out of Liberty and on to 355. They couldn't even get to their turn just off West Deer Park and East Deer Park when the car shut down in the middle of the street!!! About 600 FEET from Liberty!!! They had to call a tow truck to tow the Volvo less than a mile elsewhere. As a result of this incompetent manager, he costs my family an additional $300. He could've also costs them their lives! The manager should've suggested to leave the vehicle with him and that his people will take a look at it tomorrow as there could be more that meets the eye. Dude came off nonchalant and not trying to help or provide service. This according to mom and her hubby. First impressions mean everything and this was a very bad one. Not only is my mom's husband a NAVY veteran, but he also is a retired employee for WRC-TV, NBC 4 in D.C. area. He has worked on cars for over 50 years as he felt it was probably the alternator that is the issue when he initially heard the problem. The other place where they took the car after the Liberty debacle, said it was an alternator issue. Now how hard would it have been for that Liberty manager to do his actual job and help a paying customer out? Stay the heck away from this place!!! You've been warned!!! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUE CAR HERE! I look my Mercedes C class here for a STATE INSPECTION. I dropped the car off at the gas station at 5:40pm and they told me they could get it done by 12 the next day. The day of pick up they never called me and after ONE CALL asking for an update at 3:00pm they STOPPED PICKING UP MY CALLS. At 4:15 I arrived to the gas station and asked for my car and my keys back they told me that the CAR WASNT THERE. Supposedly they took it to ANOTHER GAS STATION to get the inspection done. I HAD TO WAIT 2 HOURS for them to bring my car from wherever they took it. I asked for the inspection report and the mechanic Manny? told me that he DIDN'T have an inspection report for me and that if I wanted one I had to come the NEXT DAY. I took my car to get inspected to a DIFFERENT mechanic and inspector. The new mechanic told me that my suspension stabilizer link was BROKEN!! The new shop told me it was very odd because all of the suspension parts were BRAND NEW!!! IM A YOUNG WOMAN WITH A LUXURY CAR.... EASY MONEY??? PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Busy busy gas station. I don't usually enjoy waiting for a spot but it was conveniently located and is one of the cheaper gas stations in the area. They don't offer any rewards that I know of but the rates are low enough to still come here. I trust Liberty and would come back for more fuel when I'm in the area again. read more

Will not be going here again, went in for an alignment and they tried to charge me way extra and too much just for some tiny repairs and when i declined to do repairs there they charged me a fee for checking my car which is something that they did not mention first of all and something not worth the money they charged. Stopped in to put air in my tires (to make that damn light go out that said the air was low!) and while I was putting in air the valve stem broke off! Can't tell you how helpless it feels to watch your tire go completely flat right in front of you... They called the dealer and got the part (it's the one with the sensor to tell you when the pressure is low), and at my request also changed the oil and had me back in action the same day AND gave me a fair price (family in Ohio has been in the auto parts business for many years so pretty familiar with pricing). Sebastian at Walnut Hill Liberty has kept our 2005 Lincoln LS--inherited from my grandfather, now with over 197,000 miles on it--running beautifully at a very reasonable cost. He charges a FRACTION of what the dealer was charging for the repairs, and unlike the dealer he DOESN'T recommend repairs until & unless they're actually needed. When the dealer told us we needed three different oil leaks fixed, Sebastian at Walnut Hill told us we only needed to have one of them done right away, again at a fraction of the cost. This place rocks, I have been there twice and the customer service and quality is tops, you won't find another service station that gives this great of service. It reminds me of the old days when you had neighborhood places that cared about the people they helped. They get you in ensure you are fully informed of the issues and they get it done as fast as possible. Horrible Place! Have had 2 vehicles ruined here - a Focus and a Mercury Villager. We take our vehicles elsewhere now, and have had no problems. The last incident, they forgot to put oil back in my car during an oil change, tampered with my distributor that was replaced only 3 yrs ago, and completely burnt it out and found out there was a main fill oil leak - they denied they forgot to put the oil back in and claim they have no idea what happened to 5 qts of oil they allegedly put in as I drove home from work. The labor charge is outrageously higher than any other service place. They promised to a give a 10% discount to have me sign the work authorization but the promise was reneged after the work was completed. It looks that this a small place led by very uncooperative mechanic which thrives on ripping off customers. If you have car troubles, do not go there for service unless you want to pay more and get dissatisfied with the service. I have been going to them for almost 10 years and have never been disappointed with them. I have taken my 2002 V8 Mustang to them as well as my girlfriend's 2002 Elantra. I am a former auto technician student and general car enthusiast so i am very familiar with what parts and labor come to. They have always been extraordinary reasonable with their pricing in parts and labor (shockingly so at times). I have had oil changes, replaced brakes and rotors, new axles, alignments, replaced radiators, tires, and general engine trouble that they have looked at. Every time I've taken it they fix the problem and I don't have to worry about having to take it in multiple times for the same problems as I have experienced with some of the larger dealerships in the area. On top of all that the staff and the owner are both incredibly nice and helpful. I never hesitate asking them a question if I am not sure of something and they are always happy to give me an honest answer.
