I usually come here for my oil changes and minor repairs. Staff is very pleasant. Service is sometimes very busy, but the staff always gives an estimate of how long it would take to service your car. We always pay after the service is done. The manager always gives other recommendations of what we should do with other repairs that are warranted. In terms of gas station prices, if you are a Safeway rewards member then you can enter in your phone number for cheaper gas. I believe it ranges between 10-30 cents off. read more

This review is for the Auto Repair of Colesville Exxon. If you're in the Colesville area and need gas go to the Excel across the street, it's cheaper but if you need your car worked on then this is the place to be. They do excellent accurate auto repair and very quickly too. I've been taking my cars there for years. I even had my car towed from Baltimore to here when it broke down up there because I trust them to fix it right. They work on all types foreign or domestic so bring in your Yugo or your Porche and everything in between (I've even seen a Delorian there) their prices are about right maybe a tad bit more than your average shop but still very reasonable and a whole heck of a lot less than some dealership. So if your car doesn't want to go then take it here and ask for "Hi" and he'll do right by you. Only four stars because of higher gas prices compare to neighboring stations. read more

I hate to write this type of review, but warning to all customers: DISHONEST GARAGE. After an inspection, they said I had to replace all of my wheel bearings and that it would cost $2000, tried to pressure me into getting it then and there. It seemed strange to me that all of them had to be replaced so I had a garage from home look at it. They said I actually only needed to replace one wheel bearing, which only cost $150. GARAGE LIES, TAKES ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS AND DOESNT KNOW CARS. Just moved to Colesville and decided to take my car there. They charged over $300 for brake pads when I thought it would be half of that. (Make sure you always ask price, I'm dumb for that). Tried to get me to fix rotors and said I needed new wheel bearing that would cost over $1,000. Took it back to my trusted garage and they completely disagreed with their assessment and told me how much they tried taking advantage of me. not only that, they didn't do any kind of a check on my car and my trusted garage couldn't believe some of the stuff they missed when they did the break pads. DONT GO HERE. They will assess your knowledge of cars and take advantage of you. read more

Staff is rude. angry at me for not hearing my phone ring once and gave an unprofessional hissy fit in person. A call i missed by 5 minutes and was there in person after 5 minutes. The traffic on the walk there did not let me hear phone ring. In there opinion customer does not need courtesy. Pyschotic, stupid or rude take your pick. Probably pyschotic. Disappointed in my repair, I had my timing belt and water pump changed only to have to get it service again but somewhere else. Drove fine for three weeks then timing slipped. Took it back to Hai and was told it could be manythings and it could cost 300 or 1000 to fix even though it was obviously the timing. I hear alot about Hai being knowledgeable but its not Hai who is working on your car. I feel cheated after paying so much for a repair and not having it done right the first time. Not saying Hai is a bad guy just saying his employees are not qualified to take on such big task other than oil changes. read more

UPCHARGERS! $290 for a $220 part, 1.5hrs of labor for a 1hr job, and synthetic oil change. Best friend/Mechanic in So.MD. informed me that job should be no more than $400. Final Hai @ Exxon Price - $515. They will lose business by cheating people out of money this way. read more
