My back right tire was grinding/scraping so badly that I was clenching my teeth every time I drove, knowing it meant something awful and expensive that I just kept delaying since I didn't have a trusted mechanic. I saw some good reviews for this location, so I drove by on a Saturday right before they closed and chatted with the owner, Brian. He hopped in the car and drove 1 yard, immediately told me what he thought it was, and warned me to avoid driving the rest of the weekend as grinding the wheel in extreme heat was risky. He said to come back first thing Monday morning to get it lifted up and properly examined. Came back Monday and the team figured out I needed to replace the caliper and brakes. Price was fair and they said they could do it same day within 3 hours, so I let them work on it and had them do an oil change as well. I'm very grateful for Brian and his team, taking the time to explain what was actually needed and why, and not overselling me on additional services. I'm so thankful I came across four corner auto care to fix my car. Brian (Tenzin) promptly responded to my request to fix my car which I hit against cement in a parking garage (after dodging an old lady walking down a dark ramp...everyone was okay). Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. They just happened to have the best Yelp rating in my area and I was desperate to get one of my business trucks' brakes serviced the next day if possible. After filling out the "request a quote" form which I did not expect to get answered until the following day, I got a reply from Brian, the owner, 5 minutes after I submitted it (on a Sunday!!!) After a few exchanges, he had my VIN and my requests and he told me he could get me in and out the next day despite his current work load. When I met him in person I had that feeling... the one where you know you've found a partner you can trust with all of your needs. I drive a 2016 VW GTI. I was referred here by one of my friend Thomas. Brian did a great job in getting my car repaired which was my AC problem by specifically finding the actual cause. I went to Meineke and they gave me an incorrect diagnosis telling me i need to replace my Ac Compressor and Condenser which would cost me $$$$ while Brians diagnostic stated my Wiring was disconnected and my clutch wheel is malfunctioning. I saved a lot of money . I would highly recommend Brian for any critical diagnosis or and maintenance for a car. I am a picky person that goes only to specific mechanic. Brian has earned my trust. I am not a mechanic but I do know that when it says pure synthetic you should go ahead and put pure synthetic in and not whatever is cheapest. ***** Came in to get a quick oil change on my 2016 hybrid. They've been quick in the past and it's near a few shops so I can keep my kids entertained. After 30 mins I came back and the mechanic was having issues resetting oil light. It's a new car, no big deal. Then I get the bill and it is shockingly low, $21 and notice standard oil was used. I question the mechanic and say the car needs synthetic. He tells me no, only BMW and Mercedes and if it needed it it would say so on the cap. I'm unsure but leave and pay my bill. As soon as I get home I check manual and call dealership, both say synthetic only. I give two stars because they were eager to fix the problem and got me right in. However, the manager and mechanic continued to be adamant that the car didn't need it and the dealership was over selling me and the cap even said so. The manager even offered to show me the cap and I said sure (he didn't). So i get home after paying my bill and pop the hood, it says pure synthetic oil right on the oil cap!!!!!!! My check engine light was on. I went to AUtozone and they scanned my car and told -and gave a printout - showing AI needed a mass airflow sensor. I ordered one and called Brian at 4 corners auto for an estimate and appointment. When I received the part in the mail Brian told me to come right over. Within about an hour or less the new sensor was installed. Brian even re-scanned my car before and after hte install to make sure that was the problem and that it was fixed. He checked and corrected the air in my tires without me asking and he removed the check engine light. Brian was professional and friendly and no pressure. I will use 4 corners agian gladly. Brian and his team are great. They seem honest, Brian is communicative and they do solid work. I first took my 03 Accord in because the AC had stopped working. The mechanic took 30 min or so to open up the console and explore the problem. He made some correction which got cool air pumping again and said if that didn't resolve the issue it would probably be a couple hundred dollars to fix. They didn't charge me anything for that time and correction. Almost a year later I have working AC and a go-to mechanic. The only problem is they are currently only listed on yelp as a gas station so they don't come up on yelp searches for auto mechanic or auto repair. Currently a hidden gem. read more

Was recently recommended to this shop by a colleague of mine, and boy am I glad she did. I have been having an issue with this check engine light on my vehicle. Before this shop I had gone to few other shops and all of them wanted money just to hook up the small computer thing. Jason the mechanic and Brian the owner greeted me with a smile and got right to it. The problem was a leak of some sorts in my car, they hooked up this weird machine, which produced smoke and found the problem within 15 minutes. It was a leak of some sort, they patched the hose and voila, 75$ later check engine disappeared and hasn't been on ever since. I like the fact that these fellas are smart, intelligent with their craft and main thing is that they allow customers to watch what they are doing unlike those other shops that do jobs behind closed doors. After writing my initial review I had to return to Shell because my car was driving funny. I took it directly without calling, and the mechanic immediately ran a diagnostic. They suggested I leave it and I did. Brian followed up immediately and kept me in the loop regarding next steps. He discovered the problem (which was not connected to the earlier fix), took care of it and returned it to me in the best shape in years! I came here to get my bumper fixed. After years of city street parking, it was dented, scratched, and just sad. I figured the whole thing needed to be replaced. I received quotes from a few shops in downtown Silver Spring, but they didn't work on weekends, making it difficult schedule-wise to drop it off. I was getting gas on Saturday and happened to ask the manager, Brian, if they fixed bumpers. He said mine probably didn't need to be replaced and could be painted instead, which would save $$. I dropped the car off on Saturday afternoon and got it back Sunday. My bumper looks beautiful and new! He even managed to remove a large scratch on my trunk. After just being a rushed "fuel purchase customer" weekly at this Shell for the past 2 years (I work around the corner and often fuel-up and drive off to get to work on time!)), I decided to drop in to inquire about a growing in serious situation I was having, namely the "slow death of my 1998 minivan". I was in dire need of a used car purchase to chauffeur my 3 young boys around in. As a single mother, I am limited in funds, time and experience! Literally within days, Brian came up with a viable solution for me that fit into my pre-stated budget! He took care of the sale and inspection and filled me in on MVA requirements/steps to take (my last car purchase was 2010!! I had forgotten what to do!!). He made this experience as painless as possible - spending $ like this can be painful! Since I needed to drop in a few times during this process, I saw how well other customers (especially in his auto repair shop) were treated by Brian and his mechanics. I do not need to think twice, I will NO longer be using the mechanics I have used since 2010 just a few miles away. I have always felt uneasy with previous repairs at the other shop - but now, I believe I have found an "auto-shop home" for my vehicle needs.
