So I have frequented this shop on several occasions during the last few months because my previous car was basically on life support, and I also wanted to get a true feel for their service. So, the verdict: the reviews are true!! This place is legit... Im usually quite skeptical about going to new auto shops because they can rip you off while you helplessly wait for your car, but Ron has not only been more than fair with his prices, he's also very knowledgable about cars, and will give you an honest opinion and accurate recommendations for your car. He's basically upfront, and willing to explain what's going on with your car, which I love, cause I certainly don't need the run around when it comes to auto repairs. He has went above and beyond in inspections, oil changes, LED headlight & fog light installations, and overall customer service for me and my new car. arauto and ronaldo were highly recommended by a friend as an honest, capable shop - which is what i needed! i was in the health care "system" for almost a year being shuffled from hospitals to physical rehab centers and back. meanwhile, my suv 4runner sat in the driveway with the results being: 1.) needed new battery 2.) no highbeams/drl-1 disconnected, other busted - (wouldn't turn off-last year, before i went to hospital) 3.) outlets not getting power with power switch/engine on 4.) power windows were acting up and wouldn't operate from driver's door controls 5.) needed oil change, tires rotated, lubrication, etc. 6.) truck in desperate need of detailing due to pollen outside...and cigar smoke inside in less than a week, most of these problems were fixed (plug in outlets still not working, but usb port gets power) the detailing on the job was so good i wouldn't have recognized my 4runner if it weren't for the decals in the rear windows. i would highly recommend this business if your car needs some major attention. read more

I have had good experiences when bringing my vehicle (Jeep Grand Cherokee) here for routine oil changes so when my check engine light popped on, I took it in for them to fix. I dropped my vehicle off and immediately received a text with a list of "issues" that needed to be fixed. I agreed for them to do the work although my main concern was the check engine light. I left my vehicle at the shop for 2 days. When I picked my vehicle up, I paid over $2.5K and was assured that in addition to the other "issues", the check engine light issue was resolved. A week later, the check engine light came back on. I took the vehicle back and left it for a day. I was again assured that the issue was resolved and was "only" charged for a part that was replaced, but not labor. Great! Today, the check engine light is back on. Unfortunately , I will not be contacting this shop to "fix" it for a THIRD time. The staff is fairly friendly so they'd likely be willing to look at it again; however, I cannot trust that they will finally fix the issue nor can I continue to spend my time and $ there. I have gotten the vehicle scanned elsewhere and it is giving the SAME CODE as the original and that the shop claimed they fixed TWICE. I was also told by another mechanic that this should have been a fairly easy and minor fix had it been diagnosed properly the first time around. Very unfortunate that I can no longer recommend this shop due to lack of reliability and/or expertise. read more

Giving an updated review! Been using Ronaldo's shop for two years now. Husband is also using his shop for his Toyota FJ. The dreaded check engine light goes on and off intermittently. I bring it in. Ronaldo calls me that afternoon to tell me that the high pressure fuel pump needs replacing - cost is 1500.00. Whoa. Here's the BEST part. Honest, honest, honest. Ron then tells me he CALLED Mini Cooper dealer and reads my VIN number to service guy and the part is covered under extended warranty from Mini Cooper and to take my Mini Cooper to the dealer to be replaced. DID I HEAR HIM RIGHT???? My car is 10 years old. Ron went the extra 1000 percent to call the dealer. He could have not called the dealer and I would've paid 1500 to have fixed. Best Auto Care Customer Experience Ever! To make an appointment, ARautoPro followed up by phone and by email. The shop is brand new and has a very friendly, welcoming staff. The oil change took about 45 minutes and they even washed my car inside and out. I watched as the owner wiped my windows clean. After the service was complete they gave me a run down on maintenance recommendations and estimates of what it would cost without any coercion. This place was great. Every since my car got into an accident which required a lot of front suspension work, I have been working with Tory from Autobody Dimensions and Ronaldo from ARautoPRO to fix, replace, and retune my 06 BMW e90 330i. Because I've had this car for awhile (since college) I was very hesitant to not take it to the dealer, as I normally would have, because I was very specific to how my car should drive. It was Ronaldo and his brother Rob's expertise that truly stood out and made my experience with this shop A++. NOTES: Everytime I go in their garage, they are working on so many different cars, from Toyotas to 63' Corvettes, and Ronaldo (always sitting inside of the front engine bay haha) would jump out to greet me and see how he could help. Truly A+++ service and very professional mechanic. Made me feel like Ayrton Senna, tuning my F1 to every specification before a race. Via USAA, Autobody Dimensions gave Ronaldo the parts to replace about ~60% of the front suspension, steering rack, and fan motor for the Bimmer as well as adjust all the tires so the TPM lights were not going off every 10 seconds. **TPM lights flashed red after the work was done and he spent an extra 30mins to diagnose the code and fixed it. Extra care and attention to even the smallest details were appreciated. (After 5pm too)** After almost 2 months of work in and out of the shop 4-5 times, I finally feel comfortable driving my car around which is EXACTLY what every mechanic should have you feel after they work on your car. Only reason why I took a star off is because I wrote a message through yelp, asking for a quote on my car. However, I was charged more than the quote I was given, due to various parts of the car being dirty. I was afraid I would end up paying more than I expected, since this has happened to me at other places (being a short, Asian woman, I almost expect it to happen, now). Thankfully, I was able to use the $5 off coupon for checking in through yelp. One thing I am grateful for is that they didn't try to sell me different services. I have been here a couple of times now for only oil change. This place has a small, but cozy waiting area with a nice selection of tea and coffee. It usually takes about 30-45 mins for oil change, which I thought was reasonable. If they find any other issues during oil change, they bring it to your attention and tell you how much it would cost. They also email you the quote for any services they recommend along the receipt for oil change, which was nice. I haven't had any other services done at this place, but I will be back for oil change. read more

My 2001 VW Golf hasn't had AC for about 2 years, and after taking it into 2 other mechanics in the area and wasting over $1000 on useless "repairs," I thought it was hopeless. I recently got a job offer in New Mexico and realized I just can't make the 30 hour drive without AC, so I came into ARautopro. They diagnosed the issue as the compressor, and didn't charge for the diagnostic. I told them I needed my car in a week and they had it finished in 2-3 days. It was an expensive repair, but compressors are an expensive part, and I feel that the price was fair. When I went to pick up the car, they showed me what else was wrong with it without making me feel like I'm an idiot for not getting everything fixed (I recently failed an emissions test but wasn't as concerned with getting that fixed quickly.) They also showed me which piece I will need to replace to fix my emissions issue. Not to mention, my car was washed and vacuumed free of charge! I was in town from New Jersey for my daughter's soccer tournament, and my oil light went on. I have an Audi A6 from 2007 with 90,000 miles on it. I took it to Roberto, and told him about the light and that I also thought I heard some metal on metal noise underneath. He said that he noticed that the oil looked a little dark for something that was synthetic, and made sure that I knew to use the correct synthetic, and not a blend, next time. I found this place because the dealership wanted to charge too much for a simple 25,000 mile service. I decided to do an 'auto shop' search on google and this was the first place to pop up. And I'm glad it did. Great service. Ronaldo is wonderful and explains everything to you. Good prices (prices can always be lower, but these were better than some other places). Everyone here is very nice and makes sure you are comfortable while waiting for your car. They also have a board that lists the wi-fi password (bonus!). Usually I have to ask and beg for that in other places. I'd recommend this business to any and everyone. read more
